Fortino House is a charming retreat in the beautiful town of Otranto, on the Adriatic Coast. Spread over two floors, connected by a spiral staircase, it can accommodate up to 8 people. The fenced terrace means that privacy is guaranteed. Just a 10-minute stroll from the beach and 5 minutes from the townâs historic heart, it is the ideal location for friends or family of all ages.
The front door opens into a spacious living/dining room which is furnished with elegant wooden furniture, including 2 sofas, extensive storage and a dining table for 6 people. There is a large, new kitchen which is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, Moka coffee maker and a fridge/freezer.
The private garden is terraced and ideal for relaxing in the sun. There are several chairs for guestsâ use, as a shaded dining area for fun meals al fresco.

Location
Whether guests want to explore Pugliaâs ancient past or relax in the sun, the property is extremely well-located in central Otranto. This ancient port is known for its castle, excellent restaurants and lively marina.
The apartment is close to some of Salentoâs most beautiful beaches, including Mulino dâAcqua beach (7 minutes), Baia dei Turchi (11 minutes) and the Faraglioni di SantâAndrea bathing rocks (20 minutes).
Away from the coast visitors can enjoy the Alimini Lakes which are a haven for bird watchers. Alimini Grande is just a 15-minute drive. Here visitors can enjoy hiking, picnicking and swimming or they can hire canoes.
For self-catering, the weekly market (Wednesday morning) is a source of the best local ingredients to cook at home. If you miss the market there are several supermarkets in the town.
The closest airport is at Brindisi - 1 hour and 10 minutes away by car.
