The Space:
The renovated studio with split-level interior, offers all modern comforts.
The floors, grey stone on the lower level, oak on the upper, blend together beautifully and add dimension to the entire space. The lower level has a working fireplace that lends warmth to the charmingly furnished living area, separated by a low stone wall from the upper sleeping area.
The latter features a small double bed, a large glass closet and attached bathroom with a spacious shower.
The kitchenette is fully equipped with a refrigerator, ceramic cooktop, microwave oven and coffee maker, as well as all necessary kitchen & dishware.
The studioâs amenities include air conditioning, flat screen TV and Wi-Fi Internet connection; bed linens & towels are provided, along with a complimentary toiletries' welcome pack.
The Neighborhood:
The studio is located on Mavromichali street, in the central Athens district of Neapolis, near Alexandras avenue. Itâs a typical Athenian residential neighborhood, where everything you need is just a few minutes away.
On the ground floor of the building, youâll find a cozy Italian grocery store-cafĂ©, perfect for enjoying a coffee or a glass of wine along with a small bite to eat. A pharmacy is located just across the street, while a supermarket and a small traditional Greek taverna are only a 2-minute walk away. Several coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, bars and a variety of other stores are also within a short walking distance. Bus station is around the corner.
Just a 5-minute walk to Kallidromiou street brings you to the weekly Saturday street market (laiki), offering fresh fruits, vegetables, and a variety of local food products directly from producers and farmers.
In the summer, there are two open-air cinemas in the neighborhood, just 2-3 minutes away on foot.
