Inside, youâll find a double bedroom, a twin room, and a pull-out sofa bed in the lounge. The open-plan living area features a fully equipped kitchen, dining space, and a cosy seating area with a TV â ideal for relaxing after a day of adventure. With central heating and double glazing, Forest Sherman is a reliable and snug base all year round. Set within Beamish Holiday Park, guests can enjoy a peaceful woodland setting with great on-site facilities.
The Bobby Shafto pub is just a short stroll from your door, offering drinks, food, and a warm community feel. Thereâs also a play park for children and regular entertainment like bingo nights, quiz evenings, and occasional live music, adding a friendly, sociable vibe to your stay. Just minutes from the park is the award-winning Beamish Museum â a living history experience with working trams, old-fashioned shops, and historic villages.
Nature lovers can enjoy walks along the Causey Arch, the worldâs oldest surviving railway bridge, or visit the nearby Tanfield Railway for a scenic steam train ride through the countryside. Beamish Woods and nearby trails also offer excellent opportunities for dog walking, birdwatching, and photography.
