Nestled in the village center, with the welcoming Horse and Farrier inn just a short walk away, Boxtree Cottage puts you right in the heart of the action. Dacre is the perfect base for exploring the northern Lake District, with footpaths and cycle routes leading directly to Ullswater, where watersports and lake cruises await.
Enter the cosy sitting room, complete with a feature fireplace, a crackling log-burning stove, and exposed beams. Sink into plush sofas and armchairs, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The fabulous kitchen is a culinary dream, boasting shaker-style units, a natural stone floor, and all the modern appliances you could need (oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine!). The second bedroom offers a super king-size bed (convertible to twins) and a modern en-suite shower room, ensuring comfort for everyone. There's also a useful cloakroom, perfect for drying wet walking gear.
