No.31 is a striking and luxurious house situated in the centre of Bmth. Although recently renovated it offers a unique, vintage feel. Hang out in the huge open plan kitchen diner, shoot some pool in distinctive Bar 31 or sip a cocktail in the quirky outside space. No.31 is steps away from eateries, bars and shops and within strolling distance of the beach. This plush pad is ideal for both friends and families â all bedrooms can either be super kings or twin beds. Parking for at least two cars.
The space
Stunning no.31 is a spacious, boutique four bedroom, four bathroom (three en-suite) house. Conveniently located in a cul-de-sac in the heart of Bournemouth town centre, the property has recently been renovated, extended and totally refurbished so everything is brand spanking new ⊠apart from the quirky vintage items of course! This unique retreat is full of character with carefully chosen, glamorous interiors and a fun retro vibe. No.31 is fully equipped and the attention to detail is impressive throughout, it offers stylish furnishings and decor and even hotel quality mattresses. The house is in a residential town centre area - itâs a perfect place to make memories and have fun but we cannot have excessive noise or boisterous behaviour at No.31.
You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to living spaces; thereâs the sizeable open plan kitchen lounge diner, the distinctive basement bar and two outdoor entertaining areas. Cook up a storm in the extensive and eye catching kitchen which is fully equipped with everything you would expect (including bean-to-cup coffee machine - some complimentary beans provided, microwave, wine fridge, dishwasher and washing machine) and has plenty of cupboard space for your own supplies. A door leads out onto the upper deck which is a sun trap and offers a table and benches for al fresco dining. The sizeable outside space has a sleek, industrial feel and a barbecue is available for your use. After a day on the beach, chill out with a film on the plush velvet corner sofa in the opulent lounge area. From the lounge the leopard print staircase leading to the basement gives you a sneak preview of whatâs to come! Mix some cocktails and shoot some pool in Bar 31; your actual very own fully functioning bar with a 70s vibe. Admire the specially commissioned âBar 31â mural designed by well known local graffiti artist Tech Moon, an amazing feature! Unwind on the sociable seating area while taking in the big Sky Sports match. The bar area is kitted out with industrial drinks fridge, dishwasher and sink, have fun deciding who will be the bartender! Thereâs a handy toilet in the basement too. A door leads directly outside to the private, covered outdoor space - so you can eat and drink outside while avoiding the elements if necessary.
On the ground floor, in addition to the generous kitchen lounge diner there are two bedrooms (one is an en-suite) and a bathroom. On the first floor there are a further two bedrooms, both of which are en-suite, one contains a shower bath. Flexible sleeping arrangements mean no.31 is ideal for both friends and family groups. All four bedrooms are a good size and can either be set up as six foot super king beds or two singles. Cleanliness is paramount and we employ professional cleaners and use a laundry service for our bedding and towels. Baby equipment is available upon request. We are doggie friendly too with well behaved canines welcome.
A short stroll down Norwich Avenue will bring you to the Grade II listed Victorian Pleasure Gardens and also straight into the cosmopolitan Triangle area of town. A fantastic selection of high street and independent shops, restaurants, cafes and bars are on your doorstep. Also,Tesco Express is nearby and ideal for last minute provisions. The famous gardens offer vibrant floral displays and an awesome toddlers-to-teens playground, tennis courts and table tennis tables. Less than a five minute walk through the beautiful Gardens alongside the Bourne stream is the hub of the town centre - The Square. The BH2 Leisure complex which contains a ten screen Odeon cinema, a host of well known restaurants and other activities is to be found nearby. A further pleasant walk through brings you to our famous sandy beach and iconic Pier.
A multitude of leisure activities are right on your doorstep, from zip wires over the sea to marshmallows over a beach BBQ - itâs easy to see why Bournemouth is called the Coast with the Most! Being known for its temperate microclimate, thereâs a wide variety of outdoorsy activities to try - including water sports, walking and horse riding. Pete and I were both born locally and itâs fair to say weâre huge fans of Bournemouth, also known as the Coast with the Most! Whilst we had a ball living in SW London for over ten years, we returned home to Southbourne to raise our three girls a few years ago as we missed the beach and the New Forest! We live three miles away from the house and are always contactable if needed. We love long walks with our two fluffy Pomeranians or a good mooch around the local vintage emporiums followed by a bite to eat at one of the many amazing eateries nearby. We also enjoy a comedy night (naturally avoiding the front row) or a sundowner cocktail with a lovely coastal view. We absolutely love hosting and have successfully been doing so for over five years. It so rewarding to help guests make special memories with friends or family. We pay attention to the small details to ensure everyone has a lovely break in our beautiful and well equipped home-from-home. Having stayed at many Airbnbs, we have combined some of the best things that we have seen and create a unique and comfortable one ourselves. Jo
