This is our everyday home that we rent out sometimes when we are away.
It is a white brick building was erected in 1979. Since then the interior has been completely renovated, though some details remain in original. It was originally built for wheel-chair access so all passages are wide (unusual for houses from this time).
You enter in the middle of the house, with a low wall separating the hallway from the kitchen. Straight ahead is the refurbished bathroom with a large bath tub and a separate shower. The kitchen is large and well equipped, with a table that sits at least 6 people. Adjacent to the kitchen is a teenager's room with a 120x200cm bed, desk, and plenty of space. From the kitchen you also reach the laundry room. Down the hall away from the kitchen is another roomy teenagers's room with a 90x200cm bed and a small desk. There is also a smaller room which we will use for storage. You then reach the living room with up to 3,5m to the ceiling and a beautiful tile stove. The room is divided by a paper screen, behind which is a bedroom section with a king size (180x200cm) bed. The larger part of the room has various sitting furniture (for up to 6 people), and a video projector with screen and sound system. There are two mattresses of 90x200cm that can be placed in the teenager's rooms for extra beds (or in the living room but this will be more crowded).
The garden is well protected and reasonably well kept, with plenty of grass to sit and run on, flowers, berries, etc. Outdoor furniture sits at least 6 comfortably around table and 4 in lounge-chairs. These chairs can preferably be carried up to the roof terrace for more air, sun and view. There is a large and safe trampoline. The property is 740 sq m in total (8000 sq feet).
There is a separate apartment with a long term tenant, facing the street, attached via a corridor. The tenant has the right to use the laundry room which is located in that corridor (so will never enter the house proper but may be seen or heard from the kitchen).
We will ask you to feed our fish and to water our plants both indoors and outdoors.
