The Old Millhouse - Your Perfect Scottish Escape

Welcome to The Old Millhouse, a beautiful 18th-century stone house nestled in the heart of the Historic town of Dalkeith , just a short hop from Edinburgh. Built way back in 1703 and lovingly restored in 2013, this gorgeous property sits on 3.5 acres of stunning gardens right alongside the River South Esk.
Space for Everyone
We can comfortably sleep up to 10 or 12 guests across 5 individually designed bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. Four of the rooms have beds that work as either twins or doubles - perfect for families, friend groups, wedding parties, or anyone looking for a relaxing break together. We can accommodate up to 3 additional children in temporary beds.
Our newly renovated fabulous 1 bedroom apartment located close to the main house , which is reached by an outside stair will be available to rent alongside the main house. The apartment can sleep one couple and two children. Which provides a total of accommodation for 12 guests at the property.
The apartment is has an open plan living kitchen and one bedroom with ensuite. Please send me a message or email for more details. Please note the apartment is only available to guests who have booked The Old MIllhouse.
