Just 1 km from the villa, easily reachable on foot, is the picturesque village of Chitignano, famous for its sulphurous and ferruginous waters. Here you will find everything you need for your stay: a mini-market, a bar and a typical restaurant where you can enjoy local flavours. A few steps from the villa, a natural spring allows you to collect beneficial water directly from the source.
Villa Maria Lena is the ideal starting point for exploring the wonders of Tuscany. Art cities such as Florence (70 km), Siena (90 km), and Arezzo (30 km) are easily reachable for a day trip.
