Escape to the picturesque village of Earl Sterndale, with stunning and dramatic scenery welcoming you to this White Peak area of the Peak District. You will have some of the most breathtaking views to enjoy, in this cottage designed for six guests. Youâll be located just 5 miles from the centre of Buxton, which is known for its Georgian architecture and the famous Buxton Opera House. Visit nearby attractions such as the enchanting Poole's Cavern and the dramatic High Peak Trail. Nestled in the heart of the Peak District, this charming village offers a perfect blend of tranquillity and adventure. High Peak Bookshop and cafĂ© is just 2 miles away, with great local produce and a great selection of books and gifts. Walkers will be delighted with the variety of places to explore. Take a hike up the famous Kinder Scout (18 miles), enjoy an amble on the beautiful Manifold Trail (13 miles), ride bikes along the Tissington Trail (16 miles) or explore the beautiful Mondal Dale (12 miles).
The property itself is all on one level, forming the top floor of a former farmhouse, in a group of similar properties, surrounded by farmland in this lovely village. Although on the top floor, the property is accessed from the rear parking and patio area, with just four steps at the entrance. Walking in, you have a lovely open-plan living space, which has some of the original features such as exposed beams, with contemporary touches and comfort. There is a dining table and soft seating for you to come together for meals or relaxation. The bedrooms comprise a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and two twin rooms that share an adjacent shower room.
Outside, there is a lovely private seating area where you can relax and enjoy a meal or simply take time to enjoy this setting that is filled with the most beautiful natural environments you can find.
