Loon Point är en privat resort belägen på en 8 tunnland halvö. Denna tillflyktsort har 1700 fot fasad vid Grand Portage Lake. Loon Point ligger inbäddat i hjärtat av North Woods, men är ändå bekvämt beläget bara 1/2 miles från Mercer, WI. Det har några av de bästa fiske i staten på Turtle Flambeau Flowage. Utöver stugan, som bekvämt rymmer upp till 8 personer, har orten också ett separat pensionat med två sovrum som rymmer ytterligare 4. The Lodge ligger vid spetsen och har en hisnande utsikt över vatten från dess enorma däck och inneslutna veranda. Du hittar bekvämligheterna mer än gott ... tre sovrum / två bad och en fantastisk sten spis. Det pittoreska pensionatet ligger bara ett stenkast från vattnet och ett stort däck. Den har två sovrum, ett badrum, kök med matplats och vardagsrum med knutig tall.

Det våta båthuset med två bås har ett spelrum och skärmad i veranda på övre plan, komplett med ett biljardbord från Brunswick Tournament.

Lakeside Estate Living

The property is Beautiful!! Very private and spacious!! Some updates would bring perfection! I was surprised there was no WiFi and did not realize there was no A/C. Yet, would rent it again!

Beautiful property. Needs some TLC.

The location was amazing. The cabin needed some TLC. The oven door was broken, when we arrived the gas grill was filled with charcoal. Some general updates were needed.

Perfect location and beautiful views!

There were 10 of us staying for 4 days and everyone loved the property! We had UTV's and were able to access the trails easily right from the property and it was very close to town. Property was back down a long driveway and made it very private. I'm sure we'll be staying here again next year!!

Great place to stay

Had a great stay. Fantastic location, very private. Cabin was nice had most of the essentials. Only complaints I got from my group was there were no shower towels and the shower heads were in desperate need of replacement.

Large waterfront and so private!

The weather was perfect and there was plenty of room for everyone. We loved paddle boarding and kayaking the very clear lake. Caught a few fish too!

Tranquil spot With included kayaks and paddle boards

Awesome swimming. Loved the fire pit, the big lawn, the kayaks paddle boards and docks. The cabin was cool and kitschy. A couple things were on the older side but overall had a great stay.

The location was pretty and the cabins provided plenty of room, however, the place was not kept up, was not clean, and had many things that were broken or not in working order.

Wonderful and peaceful

Fantastic stay and George was wonderful to work with. The pictures do not do the beauty of the cabin and the upper level of the boathouse justice. Quiet, peaceful, plenty of room for a big group out on the point.

Great place

It was -15ºF most of the weekend and we all snuggled up and stayed cozy in the lodge. Amazing location, close to plenty of skiing. Walking on the frozen lake was spectacular. As far as cleanliness goes, most everything was fine, but a few of the beds in the "cabin" had pretty old sheets & blankets. Some had pretty sizable holes in them... definitely in need of some new linens. Nothing crazy, just worth noting.

Good time

My family enjoyed our time together at George's cottage. The location is perfect for us parents, since we live in the area and can travel home in the evening, leaving the children and grandchildren some peace and quiet. This is our third stay and we plan to book next summer. We have stayed at other places in the Mercer area, this is the best. Bill.

Wonderful summer stay !

My family and I stayed here for a week in June.....we were a diverse group with young, old and in between. George’s place had something for everyone from fishing, bb hoop, fun water toys ( kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boat ) and great outdoor seating and fire pit. The location was superb.....close to town for run ins, yet very private. Both cabins had everything we needed and the boathouse was a spectacular plus with its pool table and comfy decor. George was a super host - not only was he available to help and answer questions but he regaled us with stories and history of the property. We will most definitely be back.

Perfect weekend getaway

The house and guest house were perfect for 10 people. House was clean. Owner was easily reached and responded quickly when we had questions. Driveway easily fit 3 trucks with trailers. Will be staying there again!
