Detta är en mysig avskild stuga i utkanten av Andesområdet, undangömd på 13 tunnland, i slutet av en grusväg, omgiven av hundratals tunnland av NYC miljöskyddat land, som inkluderar ett avskilt baddamm.
Fastigheten är exceptionellt tyst, med alla bekvämligheter du behöver för en semester komma undan. En vandringsled börjar direkt vid fastigheten och leder genom miles av DEP-skogar och ängar med fantastisk utsikt och ett baddamm omgiven av miljöskyddat land ligger bara 5 minuters promenad bort. De enda grannarna du kan se är oss i slutet av vägen cirka 500 fot (2 fotbollsplaner) bort från stugan.
Inga andra grannar, inga hus, inga vägar:
perfekt plats för hundar att springa ur koppeln!
Det finns ett sovrum med en dubbelsäng och en bekväm soffa i huvudrummet. Rymlig veranda. Vedeldad spis, plus central luftvärme. Gräsmattan är mycket plan, och perfekt för badminton eller krokett, som vi tillhandahåller. Stugan har höghastighetsinternet.

Very cute!

Very cute, small but cozy and comfortable. Stayed for 6 nights with my dog. Pretty remote area, extremely quiet and very pretty. Kitchen has everything you should need, the fireplace and record player are great. It was super snowy when we were there but still very warm. I will say in the winter not a great place for dog walks lol unless your dog is good off leash, which mine is not. But we managed ok. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again!!

Wonderful Place

Ended up having to cut our stay short due to power outage due to a storm, but this is such a great spot. We hope to come back again in the future. Clean, cozy, super comfortable bed, and overall one of the best cottage rentals I've ever found. Highly recommend. Plus the care that the host as put in to minimize discomfort in the event of a power outage is really appreciated!

Peace and Quiet

We spent the weekend to celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary. The property was exactly what we needed. Was not only beautiful, but it was a perfect retreat to peace and quiet and to disconnect reconnected! The cottage was well stocked, very comfortable

Amazing Andes

Our stay in Andes was perfect. It was a hybrid trip for us - we had to work some, but we had some time off just for enjoyment. The internet never wobbled despite two people working remotely, and working on a front porch watching hummingbirds use the feeders was pretty okay too. The property is gorgeous. It's a short walk to a great swim pond with excellent views. There are raspberry and blueberry bushes right next to the house overflowing with fruit. And taking a soak in the hot tub at dusk was a superb way to end the daylight hours. Andes and other towns close by were were both adorable and welcoming - had some good meals as well! Our hosts were very communicative and everything worked just as they said it would. We are "okay, saw that place - next" types of travelers usually, but we're very much looking forward to visiting again.

Cozy cottage in the Catskills

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin is well off the beaten path and a wonderful jumping off point for exploring the Catskill Mountains.

Beautiful and relaxing!

Absolutely beautiful house and property. The house was cozy and stocked with everything we needed. We did plenty of hiking during the day qnd explored the town of Andes - Wayside Cider and Dragonfly Cafe were highlights. Pia was a wonderful host and very helpful. Will be back!

Off the beaten path and loving it!

Great little cabin. We spent 3 nights and a couple of rainy days here. We really enjoyed the solitude and quiet. Eclectic furnishings and an interesting selection of books! The kitchen had everything we needs and more to cook up a storm! The wood stove kept us warm and cozy in the evening. Out of the way but still close enough to Andes and Margaretville for some fun - checked out the Andes rail trail and had dinner to go from the Andes Hotel. We had a lovely time - thank you for your hospitality!

Very nice!

Small and cozy, comfortable to just relax and get away. Nice and quiet with a beautiful entrance and yard. It was so clean and the hot tub was also so fun and relaxing. Overall a great experience

Relaxing Mountain Getaway

Had an amazing time at the cottage. The perfect place to disconnect and relax for a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Situated on top of a mountain and with beautiful views all around there wasn't anything to complain about. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed for a long weekend. Having a hot tub for the cooler nights and mornings was also great. No cell service, so don't expect any calls or texts, unless it can be accomplished over the wifi connection. No TV as well, so was really a nice break from everyday life. If you're looking for peace and tranquility, this place is perfect.

The right amount of quiet

A great, quiet spot and an ideal place to get away as advertised. We stayed for a week and it proved to be an excellent spot to decompress. Beautiful surroundings and plenty (or nothing) to do in the area.

Simply great

It’s an absolute gem. Pia is a wonderful host. There’s a pond with a valley view right on the property. Lots of trails in the area. My muscles appreciated hot tub after a day of hiking. Deers, hummingbirds, chipmunks, squirrels, butterflies…. nature at the doorsteps… very relaxing.

Amazing property and owner for remote-ish getaway

Wonderful mountaintop cottage on a lovely piece of property with adjacent pond. Owner is very friendly and helpful! Perfect for a forest-breathing getaway -- situated on a remote-ish mountain road above the Pepacton Reservoir, the only noises you are likely to hear during your stay are birds and frogs. Still, towns like Margaretville, Andes, and Delhi are still 20-30 minutes away, and country stores for grocery stops are closer. Access to state land by foot for wandering. My wife and I have stayed a couple of times, and it is one of our favorite destinations -- the property is always immaculately clean, well-apportioned with everything you need (wood and kindling for woodstove were provided). Highly recommended!

Tremendous Property in the Catskills

Our host Pia was a great communicator, both in terms of customer service and laying out the expectations of our stay. The interior is even homier than it looks in the pictures, with plenty of space to cook and enjoy recreational activities. Other than the long distance proximity to gas and food (it’s the Catskills, so what can we expect 😆) everything was as pristine as it gets. Would highly recommend to anyone coming up for a weekend getaway from the city!

Lovely NY getaway

My boyfriend and I visited Pia's adorable cabin in the Andes this fall and had such a lovely time. Although we missed the glorious leaf change by a couple weeks, the weather was perfect, and Pia made our experience even better. We loved the attention to detail in the amenities, such as the easy access firewood (highly recommend the outdoor fire pit and the wood stove!), the clean grill, and the presence of board games, puzzles, and even a badminton set. Additionally, there are some great walking trails around the property and a few small ponds for some great views. Thanks Pia & family!

Peaceful and in wild nature

Perfect getaway

This cottage is a secluded hideaway at the end of a mountain road. This is the place to go if you're wanting to getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life to simply immerse yourself in nature. The nearest town, Andes is about 15min away. Not too much there except a great coffe shop/cafe and a welcoming used bookstore. There are a couple of other nearby towns that we did not visit. The highlight of stay was seeing the milky way from the cottage yard!

Quiet getaway

This place is a lovely little retreat in the beautiful Catskills, where we could immerse ourselves in nature, go for walks, hang out on the porch and watch the hummingbirds, visit wonderful little local towns, and enjoy a comfortable home-like atmosphere at the property. The host has provided all the basic amenities, a comfy bed, excellent information about local things to do, and thoughtful touches here and there to make it a truly special place! If you want to go somewhere where you can "get away from it all," unplug and relax, this is it!
