Home-like atmosphere

My wife and I had a 4-night stay while we were visiting with family. This rental had a home-like atmosphere that was great to return to each evening. Near-by shopping and eating opportunities meant we had the option of cooking for ourselves or dining out. It was exactly as described. Plus, the hosts are wonderful folks! We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing place

My host were beyond gracious and helpful and supportive in getting into the property and learning about how it needs to be taken care of on leaving, about how the property runs being it is a resort, and helping me meet new friends. The experience was just the very best and I am suggesting it to family and friends. Should they need a place to stay.

Great place in Happy Trails

This is a wonderful place to stay. It's very comfortable and has lots of room. The bed was great and it's quiet at night. An added bonus for me is that it catches both the morning and evening sun-after all, isn't that why we come to Arizona? The property also has a covered patio which I didn't have enough time to appreciate.I've been renting various places for the last 10 years or so and I have to say that Shelly and Dave rank at the top of owners I've met. They are very friendly and were available from my initial booking to check out.I would not think twice about staying here again.

Wonderful property and hosts

Our hosts went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. The property is well maintained and equipped with anything one might need. We had a very late night arrival and our hosts met us at the entrance gate and guided us to the property. First class people and we highly recommend staying there.

Happy At The Villa 2169

We booked online , went by photos and the reviews, they did not steer us wrong Convenient location for us, owners were super friendly and made check-in very easy. We enjoyed the saltwater pool, and the Pickleball court. Very friendly people, felt very safe, and easy walking paths everywhere. Hope to return in the near future.

Hidden Gem

What a wonderful place to stay! The owners are so friendly and welcoming. The villa is clean and cozy with everything you need to stay comfortably. The bed is comfortable and water pressure for showering is excellent. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for making our visit so comfortable!

Really Enjoyed Our Stay!

The Villa was very comfortable! We especially liked the fact that it was fully furnished, including spices in the kitchen! We didn’t need to bring a thing. It was also only one block from the pool. Very good location! We’ll be back!

Could Not Have Been More Perfect

I wanted a simple place to get a good nights sleep after busy days out. This was perfect. The neighbors were friendly and quiet and mornings on the patio were wonderful. The house was spotlessly clean and the kitchen more than sufficient for my needs. The bath was well lit and there is good water pressure and sufficient hot water. The small living are is very comfortable and inviting. The dining table easily seats four. Shelley and David met me at check-in and were a delight. After that I need only text if I had an issue. I have to say it was nice knowing that this was a gated senior community. I did not have to worry about security when not in the unit. This is just one less issue when traveling.

Perfect for us!

Wonderful home. Comfortable furniture, comfortable beds! Whatever utensil or pot or pan I reached for in the kitchen there it was. Great assortment of kitchen equipment! Shelly and Dave were quick to respond to any questions we had. They did a great job of checking us in and making sure we knew how the appliances worked. Very personable and we felt very welcomed to the area! Thank you for a great stay!

Wonderful Stay

Shelley and David were great to deal with. Shelley was very responsive to any questions. The villa had everything and more that we needed for our week stay. We were very comfortable coming back to a place that felt like home. We definitely would stay here again. Great host and hostess.

Excellent

FANTASTIC!! Shelley & Dave are the most terrified hosts - friendly and fun loving people who wanted us to have a good time and we did. The villa was cute, clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Beds were comfortable and a/c worked great. Happy Trails lived up to it’s name-residents are happy and welcoming to visitors. Surprise has dozens of shops and restaurants just outside of HT but when we entered through the security gate it is peaceful and serene. We loved our early morning walks with the beautiful desert landscaping (cactus in bloom) in this well tended community. Looking forward to visiting Arizona next year and will definitely stay at this “little gem”. Highly recommend!! Thank Shelly and Dave
