This roomy, well-appointed apartment is within easy walking distance to everything we wanted to do and see in Sorrento, as well as to the train station. However, if you do take the Circumvesuviana train to Pompeii, as you should, you might consider walking there prior to the day you go so you know exactly where the station is. It's not difficult to find, but it is a little tucked away, and you don't want to be in a hurry and not know where it is.
As noted by others, Davide was cordial and easy to communicate with, responded quickly, and made all the arrangements for our transfers from and to the Naples airport, and a semi-private boat excursion to Capri that we much enjoyed. He also arranged a guided tour of Pompeii for our party of three with a fine guide who met us at the train station, whisked us through the tickets purchase, and conducted a spirited and informative tour. Davide's assistant, Andrea, met us when we arrived at the apartment and at the port to introduce us to our boat excursion captain. She explained everything clearly and was quite accessible and helpful throughout our stay. When we return to Sorrento, we will certainly stay at this charming top floor apartment again.
