Great Place for Families

We enjoyed our stay here. Everything was so close, Wal-Mart was walking distance, but packed to the max all the evenings we had to stop by. The Disney parks were close as well and the pool/spa looked enjoyable but we were not able to enjoy it because we were so tired from the parks.

The Best Stay

Everything thing was so clean fresh and beautiful. I would book that again. Please tell the owners we said Thanks we enjoyed it. Oh and our dog Kobe had a ball too.

Smelled strongly of dog. Furnishings and decor older. Neighborhood and pool were nice except there was a lot of gnats. Convenient to Disney!

The property is in an excellent location for going to the Disney parks. Very easy to use Uber as well. We enjoyed having the privacy of our own home for our stay. They had everything you needed in the kitchen and bedrooms, extra towels, blankets ect. They even had fans which was nice. This home is a little worn. Holes and missing paint on walls and worn out furniture. Beds were comfortable, but the couches were very uncomfortable. Great for a short stay for a disney visit.

Good house, good location not so clean

The house was good…has everything we needed but was not so clean. The windows were really dirty (I needed to open it because of the smell of a house closed for a long time) and under the couch too (I left something fall under the couch and when I picked up I saw how dirty it was). The location is excellent, really close do Walmart and the condo is really pleasant with squirrels. The pool and the play area were really good too, my 5 years old kid amused herself a lot.

Great location, right next to the pool. Only had 2 complaints. The air filter had caked on dust, looked like it hadn’t been changed in a long time and the hardwood floor by the laundry was warped, looked like water damage at one point in time, stubbed my toe a couple of time on the ends that were sticking up. Other than that very nice place.

Ok apartment

Due to changes in work schedules, we (4 adults) needed a place to stay in Orlando last minute. This apartment was one of the last pet friendly available. It is a townhouse but there is no separation of the living space, the apartment is all up two flights of stairs. When we arrived you noticed an odor the minute you opened the front door. There was a pile of leftover garbage in the garage and that smell was overwhelming, but the carpet on the stairs themselves smelled badly. ALL of the carpets in the entire place looked very dirty and need to be replaced. No one would walk on them without socks or footwear. We were told we couldn't check in early and had to wait until the normal time of 4p, check out is at 11a. Do they need 5 hours to clean a 1,000sqft apartment? I have no idea what they did during that time. The apartment's kitchen and bathrooom's were clean but we found dirty glasses, utensils, etc and decided to wash everything before using it. The sheets on the bed in the master bedroom were still damp and cold, after a long travel day having to take sheets off and put them in the dryer and remake the bed was not appreciated. The sheets are not soft, there were extra pillows, linens and blankets in the closet. Do not expect an adult to sleep on the pull out sofa without a better mattress. We have rented many places before and knew to bring some supplies. I brought a sponge, laundry pods, dryer sheets, dishwasher pods, paper towels, and Lysol (thank goodness) but didn't bring extra garbage bags. They provide 2 garbage bags so bring those if you don't want to have to buy an entire box, same goes for filters for the coffee maker. They also provided a roll of paper towel, and dishwashing liquid. On our last morning the cleaners showed up at 10am and hour before check out. I didn't answer the door because I was dressing and packing up last items, when I didn't answer he proceeded to enter the apartment. Not okay. The development was nice, felt safe walking the dog around at night and we didn't hear the neighbors. The pool area was clean and the clubhouse had some amenities, gym and arcade. You can walk a very short distance to Walmart if you need anything. Overall, we were glad to have only stayed 4 nights here. This apartment was not up to our standards for cleanliness and for that reason we would not return.

Beautiful pet friendly villa

Wonderful stay with excellent host! Everything we needed was available to make meals during our stay. Location was excellent!! Resort has a beautiful clubhouse with ping pong and pool table. There was no arcade like pictured but we still enjoyed! The pool and hot tub was nice. In the evenings we enjoyed a lovely limited fireworks view from our screened in balcony. Thank you we hope to be back again soon

Oakwater Townhome

Home is located in a great area. This home just needs some upgrades with the floors in the hallways and master bedroom.Furniture is a little out dated other than that the complex was a quiet place to sleep and my family was safe.

Overall this is a good place to stay and we would stay again. It is very close to Disney and Margaritaville. There is a Super Walmart just outside the gate but it is the most crowded Walmart we have ever seen. The pool is very nice and large with a hot tub. The workout room is minimal and only open 10a-6p. The property is dog friendly with poop bins and a nice walk around the lake. The condo is located above the garages so there is no noise from neighbors. The unit was clean but needs help. The linoleum is peeling up. There was one trash bag and a roll of toilet paper for our two-week stay. The dryer did not work so we hung our clothes. The access code directions provided by Vacasa were badly flawed at the main gate and the condo. They left off key components of the codes and how to use the codes. Codes change and they need to include the steps necessary on either side of the code such as additional keys to push. The sink faucets feel like they are falling apart. Bring hangers for the closets, there weren't any. The smoke detector was beeping because the battery was low. It was located high above the staircase so we had to waste over half a day waiting for the maintenance guy who was very friendly and helpful.

Great location, unit needs work

Last time I rented with Vacasa I swore I’d never do it again. But here I am, reviewing another frustrating experience with Vacasa. The unit is in a great location, and is very accessible. The complex is gated, has a nice pool. It said there was a game room, although the game room is actually closed now. They should update that in the listing. The actual unit that we rented needs a lot of repair work. Floorboards were coming up, microwave is broken, dented appliances hairdryer was broken, medicine cabinet was missing, towel rack was missing, The towels were thin and scratchy. Kitchen sink had a dribble of water only. Seriously, these repairs would all amount to less than $100 and maybe an hours worth of work. I don’t know if the owners of this property even know how much damage there is? I certainly don’t feel great about the price that we paid considering half the things in the house were unusable. When we checked in, we noticed we didn’t have any trash bags any dish soap or paper towels. I immediately contacted Vacasa on Sunday. We didn’t actually get any soap or trash bags from them until Wednesday afternoon. Ridiculous. They kept telling us that the local team was not responding to their messages. Figure it out Vacasa. You made a lot of money and you need to do better.

Birthday vacation

This is my second time staying here my family and I love it here, it's near shopping areas and 5 minutes from Disney.. we will be back in January 2022.
