VÄrt hemma vid vattnet ligger pÄ 100 fot bred vattenkanal med 30 fot dockning. Vi Àr husdjursvÀnliga. Denna hyra Àr möblerad med 1 dubbelsÀng och 1 bÀddsoffa i vardagsrummet för att rymma upp till 4 personer. Vi har WiFi. Du har tillgÄng till Private Ocean Beach Club bara en 5 minuters promenad frÄn vÄrt hem som heter Cabana Club. (thecabanaclubkeycolonybeach. com). Klubben har en pool med utsikt över havet, en spa / bubbelpool, full bar och Weber-grill.

VÄrt hem har ett nyare dockningssystem som gör att du enkelt kan in / ut din bÄt. Vi har en betfrys precis bredvid fiskrengöringsbordet pÄ bryggan. Sötvatten slang dockside. Snabb Ätkomst med bÄt till havet (5 minuter) och viken (15 minuter). Gott om parkering för fordon och bÄtvagn. Uthyrningen har ett fullt utrustat kök och har keramiska plattor i hela.

Perfekt fiske / snorkling och dykning bara nÄgra minuter bort. 1 timme söder om Key Largo och 1 timme norr om Key West. Restauranger inom gÄngavstÄnd frÄn det hÀr hyreshemmet. Key Colony har en golfbana, promenader, jogging och cykelturer.

Great stay the entire time at this location! Everything was like it was advertised. The place was spacious and had everything desired/required. I was well within walking distance to the club/parks/recreation as needed. I would gladly stay here again when possible. Bonus: Thank you for the needed packet of requirements to make check in / check out so easy.

Hidden Gem!

This place was clean, quiet, safe, & family friendly. The locals were kind and welcoming. I would totally recommend this property to anybody wanting to visit the Keys! Also, it is centrally located so it is real easy to do a day trip/afternoon excursion in either direction.

Location was pretty nice. It was king of tough without a dishwasher. Cookie sheet and other appliances missing in the kitchen . Not a very homey feeling. No beach toys to borrow, or chairs. , no table in the backyard to sit and enjoy. Very outdated unit, no air circulation in the bathroom .. Overall, I guess good enough for the price and location. Cabana club very crowded , go early or there will be literally no chairs to sit on or put your towels on. Tiny but beautiful beach . Bring paddle boards or kayaks to use on the canal. Not too many fish on the canal, caught a good size catfish late at night.

Lovely vacation

Had a great time. The residence was even roomier than I expected. Very clean and I loved the beachy decor. I spent every morning out on the dock with my coffee and a book (bring a comfy lounge chair tho, the chairs provided are not meant for comfort). Key Colony has so much to offer!! Walking paths, beach, golf, dining. And the Cabana club pool, complete with a bar and snack area was great! I definitely felt safe walking at all times of the day or evening, knowing they had their own police security driving around, watching over the place. Captain Hooks Marina, just down the road, took us on a wonderful snorkel trip. We saw sooo many fish!! The Turtle hospital was very interesting, the Aquarium nearby was amazing, and the historical museum near Sombrero beach was a great time, as well. So much to do, almost not enough time to do it!! Sunset Grill, Bahia Honda park, Island Fish Co. Everything was wonderful. I am very grateful for the reasonable rate our host offered us, and we will definitely be back! Thank you so much. My son and I had a perfect vacation.

Nice area to stay

We enjoyed our stay very much, the location was great to access what we wanted and needed. Being at a place in the middle of the Keys was nice to maneuver between all of the Keys to explore them. Having access to the pool and beach was a plus and we greatly appreciated that as well.

Highly recommend, would stay again

The house was great and had everything we needed. Perfect location in Key Colony Beach with short walking distance to the club and multiple restaurants/bars. We had plenty of space for our 30' boat at the dock and enough space in the driveway to park the truck and trailer. We used the launch at the KCB marina and it was large enough and deep enough for our boat with very easy access to the canal.

We had a great time , property was very clean and comfortable. Beautiful well kept neighborhood .. enjoyed fishing on dock , had a manatee visit day 2

Overall great place for the cost

Overall we liked the duplex. Key Colony is great, having the cabana club is a huge plus. The unit was clean and overall pretty comfy. Great for a few days or a week stay with your pet. A few things kept me from giving it a 5 star rating: 1- to me a fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher. There is no dishwasher, washer or dryer in this unit. 2- The bed is not very comfortable and in such a huge room a king bed would fit easily. We put all the extra comforters under the fitted sheet for padding and the bed was tolerable. If you don't like hard beds and are driving bring a queen pillow top mattress pad if you have one. 3- The use of the dock requires you to walk by the back unit and we almost felt like we were trespassing as they were on the back screened porch as we had to walk by them. This unit is across the front of the home so you have no view. 4- the walls are pretty soundproof but the door in the kitchen (leads into the other unit) was not at all soundproof and if we were at the table we could hear every word they said, we could hear their tv etc.. not sure if a more soundproof door is available but just know sound will travel between kitchens. Bedroom was very quiet, which is more important. So for the cost, it's a good little unit for a 1 week stay with your pet. The lack of dishwasher, washer and dryer might make a longer stay less pleasant.

We have stayed on most of the keys, and Key Colony Beach is our favorite. This property is very clean and well maintained. Perfect for two. No steps.

Nice spot

Nice quiet spot. Enjoyed having my coffee and fishing off the dock. Our section of the home faced the quiet street. A few short steps to the dock. One bedroom and bath was perfect and plenty of room. Pull out mattress was not very comfortable, but doable. Communication was great with the owners and they were helpful. Cabana club was enjoyable and a short walk from the house.

Quiet area of Key Colony Beach. Very nicely decorated, comfortable and clean. Impressive seawall, dock, and fish cleaning station. Curt provided good communication. Would stay there again in the future

Fun in the SUN!

Enjoyed our stay here, it was as stated and provided our needs. But would be nice to have some umbrellas for shade on the dock and a blender. But would definitely come again.

Nice location

Pros: House was clean and plenty of room for the 2 of us. Located an easy walk to Cabana Club and Havana Jacks. Plenty of room to park, nice street. Cons: no washer/dryer. We were in the front of the house, the renters in the back had access to the screened in porch. Only 2 wooden chairs for outdoors.

A Vacation to Remember

Curt was the most responsive and kind host during our two week stay. On the first day of our vacation my husband had a bicycle incident which required him to be taken by ambulance to a Miami hospital and undergo emergency surgery. Curt checked in on us. During our stay we experienced a plumbing problem and Curt had a company at our site within 10 minutes of our call to him. The place is very clean and has a wonderful location. Having the Cabana Club is also a great perk. Although we do not fish, having the canal was so nice to sit and enjoy our morning coffee while watching boaters pass by. We will be back again! Thank you Curt.
