Great cottage on a beautiful property! The cottage itself has everything you need with a great kitchen and lots of space for a family. We enjoyed swimming in the lake and using the kayaks. Jane was incredibly helpful and responsive before and throughout our stay!

The pictures online do not do justice to the cottage and property. It is very spacious inside and has a very nice (new) large deck and sizeable backyard - both of which we enjoyed during our seven day stay - and a nice great room and kitchen area. The wifi worked well and allowed us to work during our stay. The property is private and secluded from the neighboring properties and we were able to enjoy walks with our dog on surrounding lanes and roads. Our dog was also able to enjoy many swims leveraging the sandy walk-in waterfront. The owner (Jane) was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with, and the check in and checkout process was seamless and easy. We would definitely recommend this rental property and would welcome a chance to visit again in future years.

Great place to escape the city

Stayed here for three nights with my partner and our two dogs. The cottage is beautiful - natural wood everywhere, stone fireplace, and a beautiful view out the large window. We came in November and it was very serene and relaxing.Jane went above and beyond to ensure we're comfortable. You can tell she cherishes this place and is happy to share her little paradise with others.

Delighted to be back!

This is the 5th time that we have stayed at this beautiful cottage. We are already planning our visit for next summer. It is roomy with a gorgeous interior, incredible fireplace, high ceilings, amazing view of the lake as you sip your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail, comfortable king-sized bed in the master bedroom. The kitchen has everything that you could want or need. It feels like our second home. Our thanks to the wonderful hosts for allowing us to share their vacation home once again.

Summer Escape

A large property inside and out. So many options for relaxing (inside, sun, shade) and playing (games, water craft, swimming, lawn activities) that you’ll never be bored or at loose ends. The house is gorgeous and spacious with beautiful views out the amazing windows. You feel like you’re in your own little world but towns and local attractions are not that far away. We had a very restful stay.

A perfect vacation

This property is amazing. We keep coming back each year. From kayaking in the "back bay," to swimming at the little beach, to s'mores by the firepit, everything is perfect. We saw ducks, loons, geese, herons, and kingfishers all in one day! Also great to have a king-sized bed. Many thanks to the owners for continuing to make this property available on VRBO.

New Years Eve getaway

This is the second time we’ve rented the log home and couldn’t recommend more! Communication with owners was super smooth and as always, the cottage is very well appointed. Curl up with a book by the big fire place, or relax in the hot tub. It’s the perfect get away and just under two hours from Toronto.

A beautiful oasis

It's a spacious, but cozy cottage. VERY comfortable with everything you may want. The hosts are always available for communications. We love this place so much, we come back every year (5 adults...our family). But, dibs on our favourite week!

THE CHRISTMAS COTTAGE

This has been the 4th year our family has stayed at the Christmas cottage' We had a wonderful time!!! I am the self appointed cook for these 4 days and the kitchen is superb. The hot tub in the frosty air, a cozy living room with a roaring fire, two tables... one for eating and one for puzzling, lots of places to sleep and the list goes on. Memories that will last a lifetime.

Stunning cottage

We rented this stunning cottage for our annual fishing trip and were very pleased with our choice. The hosts communicated well and gave us all the information we needed for our arrival. The cottage was clean, the beds were comfortable and it had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. We got quite a bit of fishing in and ate like kings. I will definitely be back in the future and highly recommend it to anyone that is considering renting this beautiful cottage

Jane and Carl are such generous hosts. We love this cottages so much we try to rent it a few times a year. Its big and homey, and right on a lovely lake. The kids now have their "own" room they claim every time we come back!

Such a beautiful place to spend a week! Calm waters to kayak or paddle board in, everything in the cottage you could possibly need including a king size bed, plus a hot tub! Perfect fire pit for bonfires. Coboconk is very close, so groceries, LCBO and pizza are easy to get. Hosts are helpful and friendly via text. Will definitely book again
