Stort 3 sovrum hem tillgÀngligt för sommar varje vecka / mÄnad hyra. MÀstaren Àr tillrÀckligt stor för drottningen och packar och spelar om du tar med dem. Mitt sovrum har en drottning och en tvilling och fortfarande gott om plats. Matsalen Àr sÄ stor att den har 2 matbord och sitter 14 lÀtt. Fullt utrustat kök och rymligt bekvÀmt vardagsrum! Denna historiska duplex byggdes 1918 och har vackert renoverats och vÄrdats. Verandan vetter mot 5th street, och varje kvÀll tar en 20 minuters promenad dig till slutet av Grand Haven pir för att titta pÄ solnedgÄngen; din egen "Key West" -upplevelse i Michigan. VÄrt hem ligger i en pittoresk stadsdel och ligger bara nÄgra minuter frÄn Lake Michigan strÀnder, shopping i centrum, restauranger och kul! En 10 minuters promenad tar dig till den lokala KFUM och omrÄdets Imagination Station, tennis- och picklebollbanor och skatepark. Det finns nio restauranger, tvÄ kaféer och ett bageri inom 10 kvarter med allt frÄn pizza till sushi till skaldjur till italienska till biffar. Snabbmat inkluderar gyros, italiensk nötkött, korv, stekt kyckling och hamburgare. NÄgot att glÀdja alla. Alla Àlskar att sitta pÄ verandan och se att vÀrlden gÄr förbi. Great place to stay in Grand Haven

We really enjoyed our stay! Located conveniently close to downtown Grand Haven, we really enjoyed walking to shop and visit the local attractions. The house was very comfortable for our family, has a very spacious dining area, and the porch is a great place to hang out! Also, the owner is very responsive if an issue arises which is a definite plus!

Great stay in Grand Haven

We just stayed for a week in this house with my family who has been going to Grand Haven for 9 years. We have stayed in many houses and this was one of the best. It was a bit farther from downtown and the beach than we usually do but that was our fault for not looking closer at the map when booking. It helped us get our steps in. It is an older house but has a new feel with the furnishings. It is very kid friendly as well. The second/downstairs bathroom is small but still perfect for an extra bathroom when needed. Overall, this was a great house.

Great for a Grand Haven Get-Away!

Great location near Grand Have State Park, Grand River boardwalk and downtown Grand Haven. Many fun things to do in the area with kids including a great park called Mulligan's Hollow. Just 20 minutes from Michigan's Adventure. The house was clean and the perfect size for our 7 party group. We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch and relaxing while watching butterflies and bees flit around the butterfly bush. The owners were very responsive and the house had just about everything you might need including a wagon and beach gear. Would definitely stay here again! One complaint: the bed was uncomfortable so I didn't sleep well.

This house was underwhelming for the cost. Decent walkable location, but it is in need of a renovation deeper than just the surfaces. If this had been someone's home they were just renting for a couple weeks, or a handed-down family cottage you may have forgiven the "quirks", but it is a profit-driven business that requires investment and professional upkeep. The bathtub is not installed properly so it does not fully drain- there is a constant pool or water in the bottom the day after use. There is an extension cord running through a floor vent to plug in a window a/c unit, several wall switches have notes that say "do not touch", and the washing machine is plugged into an overhead light fixture with no bulb. The mattresses all need replacement. The photos of the outside landscaping are outdated, weeds cover the rock beds. Less easy to fix, the floorboards and stairs are extremely creaky. It is at a very busy 4-way stop intersection and the stop-and-go of cars, trucks and motorcycles is loud and constant, especially as it travels though the window a/c units propped in the open windows. As residents of Chicago neighborhoods we get city noises, but this is excessive. We have owned several 100 year old homes, this one needs a qualified contractor to bring it into this century, not more mismatched handman specials, power strips and coats of paint. For a 4,000 two week stay, the standards are higher.

Black extension cord run though the floor vent connecting the A/C to a basement plug.
Just one example of a handyman special fix rigged into place.

This house is charming and spacious, and close to downtown and the beach. The decor is beachy and calming, just what I need on vacation. The owner was very fast to respond to our needs during our stay. We made good use of the kitchen and appreciated the updated appliances. If you're doing a lot of cooking, the kitchen gets hot, so the fans we found in the closets helped with that. We loved having the sand toys available as we forgot ours! Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

It was a lovely old home. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing we didn’t like was the distance from the town, very noisy street, no fire pit. I believe it said there was a hot tub but there isn’t. But it was great vacation home.

Summer getaway

We had a wonderful stay. The home was clean, spacious for our family. Close to the waterfront and activities. Hosts were quick with communication. Onsite parking was convenient. Street traffic was noisy at times, but not enough to deter us. Beds were comfortable. Fully stocked with kitchen supplies. And onsite laundry was very convenient. Would definitely stay here again!

Older, cozy duplex

This property was visited by my two sisters and me. It is on the corner of a street that has quite a bit of traffic, especially in the morning and evening rush hour. It is an older home with lovely wood floors, but they are pretty creaky. The rental was listed as a 3 bedroom, 2 bath duplex. We enjoyed having our own room, however, there was only one full bath upstairs and a very small half bath on the main floor. This would definitely cause a problem if you had 4 - 6 people. The kitchen had pretty much what we needed, although if you want aluminum foil, plastic wrap, baggies of any size, you should bring your own. Also, a small thing would be a box of tissues in the house. We ended up using TP :) The rental was located very close to town which you could walk to, but we chose to drive. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, but most likely would not choose this property in the future.

Lovely Duplex

We stayed for 5 nights in June and had a wonderful time. Everything was as described in the listing and we had everything we needed. We loved the character and charm of the house - it’s spacious and great for a family trip. Jamie was great to work with and very responsive. I would definitely recommend!

Super clean, well equipped, great location.

Jamie clearly takes pride in the property, and was a great host. Well equipped unit, spotlessly clean. You can walk, bike or drive to downtown or the State Park. This was the perfect spot for our family during our week at the beach!

Great place

The property is old, but was great and had a lot of character. We stayed with our two young children. I was worried about the stairs, but the doors at both staircases helped corral them and there were no accidents. The owner was very accommodating, and we had all we needed for our 3 week stay, including a booster seat, high chair, and pack and plays. I'd recommend it for young families. The floors are creaky though, so be careful sneaking around upstairs during nap time. But it wasn't a big deal. The location was great - a great playground for crawlers and toddlers was a half mile walk away. The beach is also super close, and so is downtown. I really recommend this place.

Lovely home in a great location!

We truly enjoyed staying in the Emerald Lady! She's a wonderful home with plenty of character and space for our family of 6. We walked into town every evening for ice cream & to watch the musical fountain show; days we walked to the beach, pickleball courts, and shopping. Perfect location close to everything we visit Grand Haven for!

We love Grand Haven and love to entertain families having a wonderful time. We lived on one side of this duplex and are now renting it to families and friends.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

This place is perfect, on a direct walk to the beach or all the restaurant and stores within 5 blocks! 8 ice cream stores within walking distance!! A historical home, tall ceilings, big rooms downstairs and 3 bedrooms upstairs and well maintained with new furnishings. Huge basement to store your bikes or extra beach equipment.

Your front porch is perfect for the morning cup of coffee, a leisurely lunch or to watch the Coast Guard Festival parade go by! On a much traveled bike and walking/jogging route.
