Fastigheten rymmer upp till 4 personer i två sovrum, en dubbelsäng och en tvilling, har en trappa upp badrum och en liten innergård på baksidan av fastigheten med trädgårdsmöbler. Även för din användning är en gemensam trädgård som är några dörrar bort.

Lovely cosy little cottage in a beautiful location! The kitchen was well equipped (we knocked up a roast dinner for four) and the beds are super comfy! Pretty views across the churchyard and plenty of dog walks straight from the door. We LOVED the woodburner. Great value for money, will be back!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely little cottage. Small but perfectly formed, it had everything we could wish for, including a very comfortable bed. It was a fabulous location with just a few minutes walk to the castle or the high street where we were able to enjoy the magic of Dunster by Candlelight. The communication from the hosts has been great and they have been very helpful. I would highly recommend Ruffles Cottage

Great little cozy cottage in the heart of Dunster Village

The booking and communication with the agent was easy and comprehensive. The cottage has everything you need and was clean and welcoming. Its location is ideal for local walks and is very close to pubs and restaurants. The only issue is parking. There is very little parking nearby but there are car oarks close by that we had to use.

There are lots of National Trust Houses and other places of interest nearby. Ruffles is a welcoming cottage on a quiet road within minutes of Dunster high street.

Stayed at the cottage for a week from 18th to 25th November,it was warm and cosy and very comfortable,in the center of Dunster,overlooking St George's Church which was lit at night..no issues with parking g during g our stay,we had a problem with the central heating g boiler but this was resolved immediately by the best of Exmoor staff(Natalie),the owner and the heating engineer,no hesitation in returning again next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in authentic nineteenth century Ruffles Cottage. It is in a very quiet side street with wonderful views over the churchyard from the rear bedroom, a perfect location if you enjoy the sound of church bells. Wonderful walks and everything Dunster has to offer is right on the doorstep. Although there is no assigned parking, we had no problems finding a space within 1 mins walk in spite of it being school summer holidays. Rear courtyard is cosy but a lovely spot to sit for breakfast. Having the adjacent secure storage for our two bikes and tow bar rack was really handy. Thank you.

Ruffles cottage was ideally placed centrally to the village although just tucked around the corner so most of the time it was very quiet. One thing to bear in mind is that you are very close to the church. The bells of the church are quite loud and go on through the night. We don't mind this but some people may have an issue with this. The cottage is so warm and cosy and having a small back yard would help with the Summer months as you could keep the back door open for a nice breeze.

Really enjoyed our week at Ruffles Cottage in Dunster. The cottage is small but perfect - it is really clean, comfortable and well equipped and we cooked in a few nights (though there are so many restaurants and pubs in Dunster you could easily not). What really makes this a 5* stay is the location - so many fantastic walks right on the doorstep - the castle, river and pack horse bridge is so lovely, and you can literally just cross the road and walk up onto Exmoor. We also found the local community very friendly and welcoming. We also had days out in Watchet, Porlock, Tarr Steps, the beach at Bossington - loads to do. We didn’t find a problem with parking opposite, despite the school restrictions we always managed to find a space somewhere. Could be an issue if you had several cars?

Not quite as good as expected.

Great location. Well equipped cottage, but not as cosy and comfortable as we expected. We felt it was a little under maintained and tired. In need of some TLC. Although the kitchen was well equipped, many thing’s didn’t match, some of the pans and crockery needed replacing. Very dark and drab.

Lovely cottage, parked up and didn't need to use the car for 4 days. So many walks close by. Would recommend the secret garden on the lutteral arms on a sunny day. Location of cottage is amazing, it's about as central to Dunster as you can get. My wife, 2 boys (12 and 14) had an awesome stay.

Dunster is a bustling village comprised of several restaurants, pubs and tea rooms, plus a varied range of independent shops. Many of the shops in Dunster are open during traditional hours of 9 am to 5 pm, although hours are often extended during the summer season. Conversely, some shops may also reduce their opening days and/or hours out-of-season.

There is a tourist information centre in Dunster, just beside Dunster Steep near the public car park at the far end of the village from Ruffles Cottage.

Minehead is the nearest town, approximately 1.5 miles from Dunster. Here you will find the larger supermarkets and petrol stations (Tesco and Morrison's are both situated on the outskirts of the town and have long opening hours), most major high street banks with cash machines, plus a range of other shops throughout the town.
