Det finns en massiv sten spis i mitten av huset som kan slås på via fjärrkontroll. Det finns en stor tvärsnittssoffa samt en utdragbar soffa med full säng. Köket är fullt utrustat med grytor, kastruller, koppar, skålar och alla redskap du behöver. Detta hem ligger nära en golfbana i slutet i en privat, lugn miljö. Girls Trip

This was our second stay and again we were not disappointed. We had everything we needed. The location is nice being on a dead end road. Very peaceful and relaxing. We are looking forward to our next trip. I would recommend this house to anyone that wants to relax.

Our favorite place to get away

This was our family’s third annual stay at the house and it remains our favorite place to get away to relax and have fun together as a family. The host is excellent, the location is excellent and the home has everything we need. We highly recommend it!

Nice setup for some time at the lake

Cozy and quiet home away from home

Enjoyed our stay. The windows were great. Owners are easy to work with. Labels for where things were was helpful. Much better than staying in a hotel for SDSU graduation.

Peaceful and relaxing

This was a lovely property… I wish it was mine! The cabin was well appointed, with a lovely, quiet location. It accommodated our family of four very well. We had everything we needed for cooking meals and plenty of yard space for outdoor games. The short drive into Hendricks for forgotten items was a bonus, also. We enjoyed our stay so much, we’ve already booked a return visit next year!

Relaxing with a great view!

Cabin was well kept and had fun games (completed a 500 piece puzzle while their). Comfortable beds and couches. The view of sunrise and sunset over the lake was gorgeous and it was super peaceful. Would definitely come back!

Perfect place for a family getaway

This is the second time our family stayed at the home and we all agree that it is a great place for both adults and children to relax and have fun. The location on the lake is private, the yard is spacious, and the kids loved getting to use the canoes provided. The floor to ceiling windows on both sides of the home provide beautiful views and make the living areas feel roomy and bright. Communication with the owners is great and the house has everything a family needs. We all look forward to returning again in the future!

Group Visit to Campus

We booked this adorable lake home so we could stay comfortably while visiting our daughter at SDSU. We were off season but the cabin was still great. The home is older but is spotlessly clean. Comfy beds and linens. Bathrooms are tiny but updated nicely. Fireplace made us feel right at home while it was stormy and snowy/windy outside. Our host was kind and attentive. This place must be amazing in the summer being right on the lake. We would not hesitate to book again.

My wife, Barbara, and I have co-owned this wonderful property for the last 8 years. We live and work in Sioux Falls which is about an hour away.
The first couple years of ownership, we were getting great use of the lake in the summers and even some in the winters. We have since been blessed with 2 sons, ages 4 and 6, so our time at the lake was put on the back burner while we chased and cleaned up after our little rascals :). Our little goofballs keep us very busy and we have not been able to make it up there as often, so we wanted to give others the chance to enjoy the beautiful location.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We chose this property for many reasons. We both live in Sioux Falls and were looking for somewhere within 100 miles so we would have the option to throw some clothes in a bag and head up there if we had a free weekend. We wanted it to be unique and secluded but not far from stores in case we forgot to bring something with us. This property was just what we were looking for. It is the perfect location at the end of a private drive. It is surrounded on 3 of the 4 sides by water. One side is Lake Hendricks which is a beautiful body of water that stays relatively warm in the summer because it is only about 16-17ft at the deepest area. The fishing is great and if you are able to hit the right time of the year the silver bass practically jump out of the water into your bucket. We have also snagged some northern and walleye. The other 2 sides of the property have a shallow body of water that is perfect to canoe and watch the carp jump out of the water next to you.
Down the street is the beautiful 9 hole Hendricks Golf Club. Downtown Hendricks is only a couple miles away and has everything you need (or forgot) including a lumber yard, a grocery store, a bait/gas station, a movie theater (in an old barn), a full bar/restaurant, a bakery, and much more. The people of Hendricks are always wonderful and very friendly. There are honestly too many reasons why this property and area would be the perfect little weekend getaway for any family or small group to enjoy! Come and check out for yourself why we have loved it so much!

Large grass areas for outdoor games and activities. Amazon Fire TV Media Streamer with Netflix on the HD TV in the living room as well as both bedrooms. Sleeps 8 comfortably.
