Kom och ta en titt på denna vackert inredda stuga som ligger strax utanför Roky Mountains National Park och Cades Cove. Owls Roost ligger i slutet av en väldigt tyst återvändsgränd. Det erbjuder lugn och ro samt enkel åtkomst. Det stora sovrummet har en king size-säng och 1/2 bad. Det andra sovrummet har en queen size-säng och en uppsättning enkelsängar. Det huvudsakliga badrummet är avstånd från vardagsrummet och erbjuder en standard badkar / dusch. Köket är modernt och välutrustat.

På baksidan av denna stuga är en mycket stor sk��rmad i veranda. Det har utsikt över en privat bergsutsikt och sitter över en flod. Du kan inte se floden men du kan höra ljudet av det rusande vattnet vilket gör det väldigt avkopplande. Den skärmade veranda har flera gungstolar, en gunga och uteservering. Det finns också en extra stor badtunna som är redo för dig att använda.

Utanför verandaen hittar du en kolgrill, bord och stolar och en eldgrop bara för din familj.

Owls Roost ger Comcast-kabel och gratis wifi.

Excellent Private Home Based to the Smokies

Quiet and Peaceful. Just before Townsend. Not far from food, shopping, the river and the mountains. A great home base to spend time on the river on the quiet side. Make your drive easier by using a car with all wheel drive. As such, we had no issue. Plenty of space to relax.

Owl’s Roost stay over Easter weekend

We had a wonderful time and the property suited our needs perfectly. Easy access to Smoky Mountain National Park on “the peaceful side” away from the Gatlinburg craziness. Hanging out on the screened in porches was our favorite part.

Family vacation with grandkids.

Wonderful stay. Close to Town and short drive to pigeon forge. The screened in porch was awesome. Cabin was very clean and has everything you need to cook

We loved it!

The home was very clean, well stocked and decorated nicely. The screened in porch with hot tub was great. Plenty of outside seating, grill, fire pit. The location was private and conveniently located. We will definitely be back!!

Really great place to stay

I really enjoyed this VBRO's location and hot tub. The screened in porch is amazing and just so lovely to sit and enjoy the woods. The kitchen was well-equipped, too. I could even make my smoothies! My only complaint would be to maybe add box springs because the beds were pretty hard without it.

Owl’s Roost

The property was perfect for our getaway. It has everything you would need. After a day of hiking it was great to have the hot tub to relax in and the bed was very comfy. My only suggestion would be to update the pictures as the furniture was different than the pictures. If returning to the area would definitely book this cabin again.

Fabulous Location Smoky Mountain Retreat

We loved our recent stay the Owl's Roost with all the comforts of home! The cabin is super charming and the inside of the cabin is surprising larger than expected/photos. Kitchen was well supplied with dishes, utensils, and cookware. Great location to nearby Great Smoky Mountains, Cades Cove, Tuckaleechee Caverns and Little Arrow River. The only reminder would be to bring your own firewood and any condiments for grilling steaks/hamburgers/hot dogs. Loved it!!

Great location and communication

Frequent and thorough communication with the property Manager- no concerns there!. The home was clean and well-appointed with the exception of kitchen linens- fortunately I have often experienced this at rental properties and packed some from home. Otherwise the kitchen had more items than I had hoped for. Location is great - our first time in Townsend and loved being close to town but super quiet at the house. The home will need some maintenance work- the floors are very un-level and the shower floor has more flex than you’d expect or want. There may also be some other plumbing type things to be addressed as when using the toilet in the 1/2 bath, it sounds as though water is running under the floor (before flushing). We were overall very happy with our stay! I am always very hesitant to write reviews knowing that I am exceptionally particular which is why I gave a high rating and added comments.

Great mountain get away

We loved our stay at this cabin. The beds are comfortable and we loved the hot tub. We did see a bear very close to the porch but it was timid and ran away.

Great Little Get-A-Way

The property was very clean and well kept! This is my first encounter with VBRO or any of those type things. Very cute comfortable place to be. Loved the porch area! Very well stocked with the essentials, nice clean linens, couldn't have asked for a better stay. My sisters and I had a very nice time! Thank you!

Perfect getaway

We went for my wife's 40th birthday. It was everything we were looking for. It was about 40 minutes from Gatlinburg. We loved the screened in porch. We used to waze app and it took us right to the property. Hoping to return next year.

A Much Needed, Relaxing Stay

First of all, I am not one to normally leave a review (good or bad). However, I feel this place definitely warranted my time to leave one. We stayed for 4 nights at Owl’s Roost. When we walked in, we could smell the cleanliness! This was very refreshing, as we have had some very bad experiences with the “not so” cleanliness of other places. Cleanliness is very important to me! We were amazed at how well kept this place is! It is not the “fanciest” of places (fancy wasn’t expected-it’s out in the woods), but it was just what we needed! It reminded me of my Grandma’s house, which was a very welcomed memory. The screened in, wraparound porch (with hot tub, swing, and mulwas really nice to have. We only went into “town” (Pigeon Forge) one time, during our entire stay, to attend a showing at “The Comedy Barn”… The one show I Absolutely must attend during any stay in the mountains. The rest of our stay we were either at Cades Cove, riding around viewing the beauty of the surroundings, or just relaxing at the cabin. It was an amazing trip! We were SO VERY CLOSE to Cades Cove, which was AMAZING! The cabin was VERY nicely furnished with everything we needed. The only thing I found different from the listing was that the 2nd bedroom, which has a twin now and not a bunk bed. They still had the larger bed in the room with the twin bed, though. This didn’t have any bearing on our visit, as it was just my husband and me. The bed was comfortable and we got some well deserved and much needed rest. They did have a washer and dryer down in the basement (a separate door on the outside, back of the cabin, with steps to it), which we didn’t need to use during our stay. Our goal was to unplug and relax, and THAT IS JUST WHAT WE DID! We very much enjoyed our stay at Owl’s Roost, and plan on returning in the future! I actually looked into coming back this month while we had a few days off from work. Unfortunately, it was already booked.😢 Maybe they will be available the next time we have some time off from work together.👍 Again, we ABSOLUTELY enjoyed our stay at Owl’s Roost!!!

A Quiet, Pleasant Getaway

My family enjoyed our stay. We felt like the property was as advertised and was an enjoyable homebase for forays into the park. We wanted a quiet place in the woods and it was perfect. Plus we enjoyed grilling, having a campfire, and the kids liked the hot tub.
