Kona base

Kona is easily accessible and has all we need. This trip inttoduced us to Banyon Tree which was good. The condo was clean and comfortible. Thank you Aloha Bob!

Great place for family or couples

This was a great place for the family. The ocean really was 20 feet from the ocean. There’s a beach next door and a nice pool. The condo is right down the street from lots of shops, restaurants and water sports.

This spot is incredible. Great location. We loved the sound of the waves and watching the surfers every day. We actually extended our stay because we loved it so much. I highly recommend!

Wonderful Condo

When we opened the front door, we immediately saw the view we were seeking. Sun and surf. This condo does not disappoint. The owner, Bob, responds promptly to questions and provides thorough directions for access, parking, pool, and whatever other questions we had. Will stay again for sure!

Loved our stay

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. The condo was spacious for our family of 3. The kitchen was well stocked not only with utensils but also essentials like salt, pepper, sugar. The view from the lanai was breathtaking. The highlight of our trip was watching whales right from the lanai which we did not expect at all! Plenty of towels, body boards, snorkeling kits - we had everything we needed for a cozy and fantastic stay. Highly recommend

Beautiful and Convenient Location

Our family of four had a wonderful stay! We visited during a heat wave and so we were extra grateful for the AC! The condo was just as advertised, with plenty of amenities and space and a breathtaking view which included a front-row view of the surfers! We appreciated the covered and convenient parking given the heat wave and also the afternoon rain showers. Bob was a 5-star host: from check-in to all communication he was very responsive and helpful. If we find ourselves back on the island we will stay again!

Island Paradise

This condo has everything we needed and more. It was amazing to sleep to the sounds of crashing waves but also enjoy the AC on the warmer evenings. The beds were super comfortable and it was surprisingly quiet. They must have double paned windows because the road noise was not an issue at all. We have stayed at six different VRBOs on different islands and this was one of the top ones. It was also very clean and you can tell that housekeeping does a great job between vacationers. Bonuses included lots of Tommy Bahama sand chairs, boogie boards, and an umbrella. Communication was very good and the instructions were clear. The parking spot is a corner spot with a good amount of room for a larger SUV if needed.

Amazing views in spacious condo

My daughter and I stayed here for 3 days over Spring Break to snorkel and hike. She lives on Oahu so we especially enjoyed the generous parking spot and well lit garage. Condo was so special and easy drive to store or restaurants. Loved the small market/liquor store across the street. Condo on older side but well taken care of and had the best vibes. Spacious bedrooms, bathrooms, and living room. Enjoyed the variety of beach equipment and lush beach towels. Amazing views and calming ocean sounds. Lanai was so great to enjoy. Didn’t get a chance to use the pool but it looked clean and well kept. Bob was an amazing host- 5 stars across the board with ease of check-in, communications etc. No more searching for rentals on this island. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great Location and Value for Kona!

Bob was easy to communicate with throughout the booking process and the location right on the water was truly amazing! The condo had everything we needed for exploring the area, like snorkeling gear, beach chairs, umbrella, etc. Watching the surfers from the lanai was fun, and being near the town activities and restaurants was also convenient. The AC was a nice add on as well, though it does get hot in the twin bedroom at night- fyi. Overall a great trip to Kona that we will remember!

Great condo

The condo was a great layout for 2 adults and 2 teens. Such a nice quiet condo complex felt like we had it to ourselves. Good distance from anywhere on the island. About 30 min to the closest gorgeous beach. Inside the condo was anything you could need like beach chairs, Snorkel masks, boogie boards. Very accurate listing 10 min from downtown Kona, grocery stores, restaurants. Great view of the ocean. Owner answered questions promptly. We truly loved it here.

Amazing Stay in Kona

We had an absolutely wonderful time in this unit in Kona. The condo is right on the beach and has a great pool. It's close to everything in the city. There are many restaurants close by. This was our first trip to Hawaii and I didn't know the area at all but Bob gave great advice and there is a fantastic book of recommendations in the unit. We were lucky enough to see the volcano erupt while we were there. Saw it start erupting on the live feed and immediately drove to the national park. Pro Tip- You can get to the National Park faster if you take the southern route. It has more twists and turns but less traffic since you avoid folks coming the other way from Hilo.Back to the room, it was clean, easy to get to, parking was great, and the AC was just what we needed. I would highly recommend this unit.

Sweet surf spot

Would have given 5 stars but the hot tub didn’t have any water in it. The condo itself is well maintained for an ocean front property. The elevator is grimy but the condo was clean. We had a great time. The surf spot is on a reef and really only for experienced surfers. Gorgeous views that can’t be beat

Big Views on the Big Island

Great stay, beautiful views. Fun time having coffee, listening to the waves and watching the surfers from the balcony. Unit was as advertised. Excellent location, close to everything. Beach chairs worked out great. The washer and dryer were very nice to have available. Excellent communication throughout the stay. We had a minor issue with the AC, they offered to take care of it, but we said it was no big deal not to worry we just wanted to let them know about it. We requested an evening check out, they said OK and surprised us with no extra charge.

An incredible 180 degree view of the ocean

Our family of 4 are frequent visitors to Big Island and we have stayed in many places along Ali'i Drive. This condo has a gorgeous view of the ocean - so close that you can almost feel the splash of the big waves. We loved the fact that no one is looking into your condo. It was spacious enough for the four adults and we spent many hours in the condo playing games and having meals on the lanai. The owner is very nice and communicative. We highly recommend this property!

Ocean Adjacent

Beautiful condo, very clean. With everything you need and a small market across the street if you forget anything. Best of all is the Lanai is literally a few feet from the ocean with waves crashing. We kept the windows and doors open for the breeze and slept great. During daylight hours we had surfers to entertain us. Plus, the big island has so many great activities. The owners left a personalized guide which gives some great insights.

The views are amazing. We were able to see whales breaching from the condo. It was a great and we would stay again. Owner is easy to get a hold of and quick to respond.
