Birthday trip

The location is perfect, walking distance to restaurants. Great for fishing and relaxing, nice area to take walks and watching the sun sets at night. Host for the property are always within reach to make sure you have everything or need anything more to make your trip the best.

Awesome in every way

Our stay at Fins to the left could not have been more perfect. First off the place was spotless, and the furnishings were very comfortable. Plenty of room with all the comforts of home. A gorgeous view of the water with and a large dock for the boat we rented. We went out on the Atlantic almost daily. The bed was a king which held my husbands 6 '6" body with plenty of room for me.

Wonderful location & view

We just wrapped up our 2-week stay, and it's definitely a spot we would love to return to. We docked our 26' boat at the property, and also stored the trailer on site, which made it very convenient. The property was clean, comfortable and had an incredible view. The property manager was quick to respond to some general inquiries. Although the design inside of the home is a bit dated, it was very comfortable. I would recommend updating the cookware in the kitchen to make it easier and more pleasant to cook. We really loved our stay!

Great Location

Very Nice House. One Half of Duplex. Great View from Outside deck. Fishing from Private Dock was lots of fun. Caught lots of fish. Two Large Kings beds made it very comfortable. Living spaces great as well. Nice Central location and close to great restaurants. Cabana Club was nice as well. Would stay here again

Better than expected

Beautiful property with a nice dick on a channel that gets you to the Atlantic or the Gulf in just a few minutes. We visited the Cabana club that is included with your stay, it was awesome. It's only a few minutes away from great restaurants but the kitchen and outdoor grill made it easy to eat in. We will definitely book this again.

Fun for all

Great location for having a boat and trailer storage for both and docking is very simple with tides and wind. It does get a bit shallow at times. House was nice for four and doable for five. Nice bathrooms with decent water pressure. Dishwasher was a bummer…. Did t work for most of our trip. Overall a nice place to stay.

Great location and view

Fins to the Left is the perfect vacation spot in the Keys. Our entire family loved the location. Without a T-top our boat could easily slip under the causeway bridge to the Gulf or head straight out to the Atlantic. My wife loved the view from the balcony. We also enjoyed riding the bikes to the shops on the causeway. From the dock my son caught a 40-pound tarpon and sometimes his limit of mangrove snapper up to 17”. Being at the end of the street was nice and quiet, plus it gave us plenty of space to walk our dogs. It was great working with Bonnie the realtor. We are already making plans for our 2017 trip back to Fins to the Left!

Fins to the Left, a perfect location right in the middle of everything.

This was my first time staying at this property (though we have rented from VRBO a few times before). The property is just as it appears in pictures. The fishing is amazing right from the dock. There is a channel you can see in the 3rd or fourth picture that rips right through and brings in all kinds of aquatic life. We caught snappers, jack crevalle, tarpon, nurse sharks and even a big snook right from the dock. We saw crabs floating on the top and lobsters below the dock as well as dolphins and even had a manatee show up to drink from the hose. There is a floating dock below the main one where it would be easy to launch kayaks from. (we fished from there) The dock also has night time lights that can be turned on that will shine in the water which brought small fish which brought in the tarpon. The kitchen is updated and big, the beds are comfy and the living room was roomy with the two couches. We cooked many of our meals in the residence though the house is close to pretty much everything. Bonnie the realtor was super sweet and very helpful in setting things up for us and making the reservation. Charter boat fishing right across the causeway about 1/2 a mile away. Convenience but well situated at the end of the block for peace and quiet. Would definitely stay here again and will be looking for this property next year when we return to Marathon.
