Fly till "HERON HIDEAWAY", inbäddat på den natursköna västra sidan av Lamoka Lake på en stor stor privat lot med över 135 'av LEVEL LAKEFRONT. På denna avskilda, mysiga och ekonomiska 2BR flyktbil, kommer du njuta av den bifogade verandan, utemöbler, brandpit, PRIVATE DOCK och kanot.

Inuti hittar du ett fullt utrustat kök med allt du behöver för att laga mat vid sjön, plus en brödrost, mikrovågsugn, kaffekanna och Keurig, samt matbord och stolar.

Vardagsrummet har en soffa som drar ut i QUEEN size säng, stol, och rocker. Inomhusunderhållning med plattskärms-TV, DVD / BLU-RAY-spelare och massor av filmer, brädspel, kort och pussel.

Sovrum # 2 har (1) FULL storlek säng, och (1) TWIN storlek säng med byrå och fönster AC enhet.
Hyresgäster måste ta med egna sängkläder.

Den bifogade verandan levereras med en vippare, extra sittplatser och soffbord, som ger dig en fantastisk utsikt över gården och sjön.

Utanför kommer du njuta av den stora, nivån, gräsmattan. Uppkörningen ner är brant, men det finns gott om nivå parkering. Levereras med picknickbord, utomhusgrill, utemöbler, bänk-svängningar, hängmatta och eldgrop. DOCK är perfekt för din båt, eller du kan använda den medföljande kanoten. Det finns bra fiske direkt från bryggan, men det rekommenderas inte för simning. Paddla ut till norra sidan av sjön för en ö med en stenstrand som är bra för simning.

I närheten av Finger Lakes vingårdar, vandringsleder, Watkins Glen och turistattraktioner.

One of the most peaceful trips I’ve ever had. The cottage is cozy and has all the essentials, the fish are plenty and lake is beautiful! The owners give you all the pertinent information you need regarding the area and recommendations. We had a wonderful trip!

Ya gotta love these quaint cottages built in the fifties, we just love the enclosed porch overlooking the water. Our boat at the dock when you get up in morning, perfect.

Rental cabin was perfect for what we wanted. Relaxation, fishing, and swimming. The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed to have a quality family time together. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Getaway

This home was perfect! It was impeccably clean and well-stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Perfect location for kayaking! The house was incredibly comfortable and relaxing. We highly recommend this place! Can’t wait to come back!

Fishing over the 4th of July

Lovely cottage/cabin for the 3 of us & our dog. Comfortable beds. Loved waking up to view of Lamoka Lake & heron on dock. Teen son happy fishing mornings & evenings off the dock, caught a variety of fish. Appreciated kitchen basics for meals & evening campfires. Location is perfect! Larger lot means a little more space between houses. 20-25 minutes to Watkins Glen wineries, restaurants, waterfalls, etc. 10 min to bait shop & Dollar General. Thanks for the welcome stay!

Cute cottage with big enclosed porch.

Cute cottage stayed in May so very quiet on the lake. Our stay was wet and cold, so the cottage was cozy and we visited the area attractions and played games. Caught some fish, a couple big ones.

2024 fishing challenge

We love going to this lovely little house. We love the large yard and the big dock. Oyr goalbis alway who can catch the most snd biggest fish. Granddaughter had the most daughter most pounds ond son largest bass. And lots of memories and stories our favorite fishing place on the fingers

Anniversary getaway!

The weather couldn’t have been better! My husband and I enjoyed nearby wineries and breweries. We spent a couple of days adventuring out and the rest at the cottage. This place was ideal to have a quiet and relaxing long weekend. We really enjoyed going out in the water and soaking in natures beauty. We also did plenty of fishing - several bites and a couple of small mouth bass - perfect place to catch and release. Kelli gave great communication- we’d love to come back and do it all over again.

Peaceful and relaxing

A bit out of the way from "all the action", but that is what a lake cabin is for, right? It had everything we needed (except I didn't notice "bring your own linens and towels" in the listing, and had to hit Walmart since we flew in, but that worked out okay. ) Would stay again if we are in the area.

Just keeps getting better

This is our third stay at Heron Hideaway, and certainly the best. Everything was great - the sleep (I got ten hours a night), the kitchen, the grill, the sleeping porch, the fire pit and that whole property. A huge waterfront yard where the dogs played endlessly and the northern pike were hitting my lures with gusto. The great weather was a bonus, but even when the weather wasn’t great in years past, we always had a blast. Perfectly located between Watkins Glen and Hammondsport means you always have options for dining, walking and just living. Kelli’s a wonderful host.

Nice waterfront property

We enjoyed our stay. We were hoping to be able to at least put our feet in the water from the dock, but the algae made that impossible. If you are capable of kayaking or canoeing, this is a perfect spot. The fire pit was our favorite area, and the heron that came to the dock every day was fun to watch. We were able to go into Hammondsport to the Glen Curtis museum. I would recommend this to everyone. It is also close to Watkins Glenn and Keuka Lake.The camp was adequate for four people. It was clean and comfortable though the kitchen was a bit dated. Overall well worth the cost!

Relaxing, Picturesque

The property was the perfect location! Far enough away from main parts of Watkins Glen and the Finger Lakes activities, but close enough that you’re able to get to wherever you’re looking to go within only a few minutes. The lake and property were so peaceful and quiet all hours of the day and provided a great place to unwind at the end of the day and to start the day at. We loved the kayaks and canoe that were provided! The lake was so easy to navigate and not much lake traffic. The dock was perfect for fishing, but if you are not on the lake, the hammock and swings were a nice addition. The property itself had just what was needed and was super clean. TMobile phones do not have service although able to get service close enough to property.

Sibling Vacation with Dogs

We had a great time during our vacation. The cottage was clean and the check-in process was easy. This was our first vrbo experience and the property owner made it extremely easy for us. Our dog enjoyed the cabin as well as the lake, she enjoyed playing fetch around the property. The kayak and life-vest were provided and it was wonderful to go into the lake from the private dock. Overall, it was a great trip and I would love to do it again!

We chanced upon Heron Hideaway on our first ever vacation to the Finger Lakes, and enjoyed the cottage as renters. While the whole area is beautiful, we loved Lamoka Lake right away, because it's perfect for fishing and paddling our canoes and kayaks. When we returned years later and had the opportunity to purchase the cottage, it was a no-brainer.

We've never stayed in a place that was so peaceful and relaxing. Who doesn't love a cozy little cottage where you can wake up and enjoy a beautiful view of the lake from the porch with your morning coffee? Sure we're biased, but we believe it's one of the best lots on the entire lake - beautiful views, private, a great dock and excellent fishing. We hope you'll love it as much as we do!
