Barn family in town for TIEC

Our stay at the cabin was wonderful! The home is lovely and is very well-stocked. The hosts are kind and generous. The wrap around porch with rocking chairs was a wonderful place to unwind at the end of the day. We will definitely come back!

Amazing house and location!

Beautiful house with tons of room for lots of people. Beds and linens were super comfortable and the house was immaculately clean. There is a game room in the basement which was an added bonus. The house sits right on the edge of a creek which was really nice! We can’t wait to go back :-)

Amazing Stay

This cabin was a perfect place to stay during our horse show weekend at TIEC. Everything was spotless and so comfortable. The house is furnished well, the communication with host was excellent, and the neighborhood was quiet and calm. This is my new favorite mountain home. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!

COVID19 Birthday Trip for MOM

The trip was amazing. Our mom turned 73 and she had not see her grands and great grands so we surprised her with this trip. We had 9 adults and 3 kids plenty of space. Host was amazing, River was nice and relaxing. We can't wait to visit again.

Cabin at Green River Highlands, Rutherfordton NC

Our stay at this beautiful cabin was perfect! Plenty of room to social distance. There's plenty of room outside to cook and enjoy meals. We rented a golf cart and took a lot of rides all over the neighborhood. Everything we needed to cook was provided. The rooms are spacious and welcoming. Great Stay !

Wonderful Stay at River Point Cabin! Highly recommended.

Staying at the River Point Cabin was a great experience. My family and I visit Rutherfordton NC quite often and this was definitely one of our favorite stays. This time we visited for a family reunion. We loved everything about it. Spacious, great layout, beautifully decorated and well stocked all around! From Linens to spices and full size toiletries. Janice the host is very kind, attentive, and accommodating. Thank You again for letting us enjoy your beautiful river side cabin. We hope to visit in the summer.

Great house- terrific location

We were down at Tryon for an equestrian event. This house served our purposes perfectly. It is beautiful with plenty of well-appointed rooms. The kitchen was well stocked and the gated community gave us a sense of privacy and security. Rooms were large and the master suite is absolutely beautiful. Quality of all items was top notch. Would definitely stay there again. About 8 minutes door to door from house to Tryon Equestrian center. Owner was very responsive throughout the process.

Perfect for Equestrian Center

The house was a perfect location for equestrian center events. Three members of our party were competing in the Spring 4 series at the equestrian center. The house was the perfect setup for a party of eight. The house was clean and well equipped for our needs. Coffee on the porch in the morning was very relaxing. Would have been great if there was a few fishing poles to use. Will definitely stay again.

Amazing place for Thanksgiving

My husband and I hosted our two adult sons, a girl friend and his brother at the River point Cabin. What a great place for this! The kitchen had everything you could possibly need including beautiful plates for the big meal. The bedrooms were comfortable, clean and thoughtfully stocked. We loved the fire pit, the hammocks and the river. (One son actually got in but it was soooo cold). We hiked the Little Bradley Falls - challenging but don’t miss it. Highly recommend and we hope to come back in the summer for tubing.

TIEC travelers

we had a wonderful experience. I actually stayed here 2 weekend in a row for horse shows at TIEC. The house was perfect and the proximity to the show grounds was wonderful. The owners were very easy to get in touch with and were so kind. I will definitely stay here again.

Graduation Stay

We really enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for the family. Caught lots of small fish, and had a great time doing it. The owners are gracious and easy to work with. The only thing is that you do get noise from the interstate; but on the plus side it's easy to jump on and get where you want to go quickly. All in all, we loved the home and the property. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your home for my granddaughters graduation. In fact, the place was so lovely that she did pre=graduation pictures there. THANKS again!

Spectacular

Spectacular large cabin in the woods. Everything was gorgeous. The beds were very very comfortable, luxurious sheets, . Outstanding porch. It was everything and more than expected.. Would highly recommend this cabin.

Property was gorgeous! The home was exactly as I had hoped. Kitchen very well equipped with cooking utensils, spices, dishes, etc Home was decorated beautifully & all linens/towels were of high quality. Outdoor areas provided seating for our large group & grounds were well maintained. Overall A++ We will visit again!

Owens Family Thanksgiving Weekend

This property was a wonderful place for our family to gather and enjoy creating memories. Everything about the Cabin was First Class. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, especially the bed linens, and having so many private bathrooms was a great plus. The fully stocked kitchen and large dining table was great for our Thanksgiving Meal. We thoroughly enjoyed the movies and books that were provided for our entertainment. My 12 year old grandson loved having the downstairs “Man Cave” all to himself. A huge plus for the Cabin were the big open areas that we could all gather together, and with the wonderful wraparound deck and balconies, we each had places that could hideaway and enjoy solitude. My questions to Janice, the owner were always promptly answered. You can tell The River Point Cabin is a well loved place where many happy memories have happened. Hello, we are am new to VRBO. We have lived in Orlando, Florida for over thirty years. My husband Patrick and I have raised our four children in the Sunshine State.

We love to travel, experience new places and meet awesome people wherever we go. We have travelled to the UK, France, Costa Rica, Japan, Bahamas, Barbados Jamaica, and all over the US and Canada in our RV. Additionally I've traveled to Brazil, Ireland and my husband has traveled to Kenya.

We enjoy cooking especially for friends and family. Reading and planning events also gives me great pleasure. I became a certified Event and Wedding Planner a few years ago. When I'm not cooking or planning events, I enjoy watching police dramas and mysteries. I also love a good comedy show. One of my favorite things is a great cup of coffee or two or three in the morning. Best way to start my day. I like that quiet time with my thoughts and coffee. Any guest in my Orlando home can enjoy the same. I guarantee a great cup of coffee in the morning or tea if you prefer.

My husband is a professional geologist and owns an environmental and water resource consulting business. He is very active in the environmental community and mentoring young people.

We are easy going, relaxed people. No room is off limits in our home. Sit back and relax is our motto.
