Scalloping Trip

The property was adequate for a guys stay. Carpet badly needs replacing and they need additional outside table and chairs. Plenty of parking and location good.

Great Scallop House!

We loved staying at the Sea Turtle House & had everything that a family of 6 needed:). It’s right around the corner from the Sea Hag Marina & public Marina which was ideal for our scalloping adventure A few things were a little outdated & someone left their molding coffee filter in the machine, but this was the ONLY Negative to our stay;(. Check in & out were easy & communication was quick:). Plus, a few hole in the wall restaurants were nearby to eat at with great seafood We would definitely stay there again

Fiddler Crab Festival 2025

We were there for a festival. The location was perfect. The house was a great size and had everything that we needed. It would be even better if it was more up to date. Overall was a great stay.

First Trip

This was our first trip to Steinhatchee to scallop. We had the best time and the house was in the perfect location ! We can’t wait to come back again next year.

Great Time!

We really enjoyed staying here. The place is clean and has plenty of room. It is not too far from the Sea Hag or Who Dat and there is a good sized gas station/convenience store right there. I hope to come back next year and maybe several more.

Great location!

Great location, huge parking area for many guests or a boat/rv. The kitchen could be a little more stocked with more dishes, etc, but we had a large group so a regular small group may be fine. Would definitely stay here again. Excellent communication and always a fast reply from owner. Five stars!

Great spot!

Great spot right by the market! Perfect for our weekend trip. We left some wasp spray because a couple people got stung going up the stairs. But other than that it was spot on! Thanks for the hospitality.

Family Getaway

Nice property. Located half mile from Sea Hag . Well stocked, clean and comfortable. Would be a 5 star but note in house required users to take trash to local dump on checkout. Not sure why they don't use trash bins like all the other VRBOs.

Loved everything about the location of home.

We enjoyed being up high. Neighborhood was quiet and great view of the stars. I was just spending a little bit of money and updating comforters and a lamp in each bedroom. Maybe add one more TV in a bedroom. An easy fix would be to paint your satyrs and brighten the front porch. The parking was ample and being able to wash my boat undercover was very nice

Not What I Expected !!

Overall the structure/property itself was good. The inside of the unit was a major let down again not the unit itself the paint was good, the bathrooms decent and the kitchen was good. I think the unit was well laid out. The problem or problems I have are when I go on vacation I expect the following conveniences I have daily at home: Coffee Pot Basic Cookware & Utensil sets Comfortable Bedding Updated Televisions (master & living room) Wifi Ample Hot Water Supply Wall DĂ©cor (extremely plain) I would rather pay more for a inviting vacation rental unit and have an comfortable stay.
