Dream come true

I have dreamed of spending Christmas with my family on a ski hill for several years now. This past Christmas my dreams came true, we were 11 people - 10 Adults and one teenager and we could not have been happier with our accommodations. I have stayed on several ski hills in the past, and this location was by far the best for ski in/ski out features. Not only was our location fabulous, but our hosts where amazing. They made our check in process easy and messaged us upon arrival and prior to us departing. Communications was great and they welcomed us with a lovely gift basket. A small Christmas tree was up for us to admire along with a few small decorations. My family was all very happy, and all agreed that we would stay here again in the future. Definitely a Christmas to remember, and a huge thank you to our hosts for being so helpful along the way. :)

You have to try this

We were a family group of 13. Great accommodations and excellent amount of dishes and cookware. Plenty of room and beds to accommodate all. Cleanliness was great and well stocked with supplies for cleaning dishes, etc. Hot tub was great and a maintenance worker came 1/2 way through visit to ensure its kept clean. We were summer guests and we found it was fairly close to lakes and water slides. Would be fun to try this place in the winter. Perfect ski in and ski out place. Thanks to the hosts who responded very quickly to any of my concerns and resolved just as fast. It’s worth the cost ❀

Boys Trip

Great place for our group of ten. Best ski in ski out we have had and we have been doing this trip for many years. Had a small issue with the Hot tub which was managed quickly. The only wish would be for the shuttle from town to run a little later. Thanks Phil

Silver Star getaway

Great stay! Nice and clean accommodation and friendly, informative and accessible hosts. Everything in working order and as described in listing. Ski in and ski out with hot tub
 hard to beat that. The place had everything you needed for a nice getaway! Highly recommended! Will book again!

We were a large crowd. We managed to have rooms for all. The hot tub heater burnt out while we were there. The owner managed to have it replaced right away and was quick to respond. Only negative from some of the guest were the mattresses in some rooms may need update. We had a great time and unit was close to everything.

Christmas 2023

We moved in on the 21st and stayed for one week. We numbered 11 (including two preschools and a 11 month old) plus a dog, and were accommodated very comfortably. The cabin was decorated for Christmas. Ski villages were probably among the few places to experience a snowy Christmas in southern BC this year. We prepared all our meals in the kitchen, including the turkey, and found it very manageable. Location was very convenient, especially for getting the two boys out on the slopes. We skied them to the Village centre on the supplied toboggan to get them to their 8:30 lessons, which avoided having to use the car. The shuttle would have been another option, but it runs at 20 minute intervals and we had a hard start time. And to get home, it was just a very short down hill ski from the top of the Silver Queen chair. We really enjoyed our stay and having all the family under one roof. The fresh snow and skiing was a bonus.

Loved it!

The house was very comfortable. Nothing overly fancy but very comfortable and perfect for our group of 9. I would love to stay there during ski season. It is directly beside the ski trail from the Silver Queen connecting to all the other lifts for a true ski in ski out location.

Nothing but positive things to say about the get-away location and close proximity to family in town. Family were gathering for the funeral of a beloved family member, so needed friendly, relaxing surroundings and Twin Peaks provided it all.

Great spot for a family ski holiday

We really enjoyed our stay at Twin Peaks. The kitchen was very well equipped. The rooms were all very clean. The location allowed easy access to Silver Star skiing both nordic and downhill. It was short walk to the village and a short walk to the multi use trails. The owner was very communicative and was available to answer any questions

Home Away from Home

We were a multi-generational family of 12 who were all pleasantly surprized with the layout and amenities. The kitchen had everything needed to cook/sit/feed everyone. The ski in / ski out was perfect. The house is a 10 minute walk to the village which is very manageable or literally 2 minute drive. The host was uper responsive and engaged which was nice. Overall an excellent stay amd would recommend for a large group.

Holiday Stay with Family

We had the pleasure of staying at this conveniently located home for 5 night just before Christmas. We enjoyed the location to the village & Tube Town. Four adults & 4 teenage boys filled the home and we enjoyed the big dining table for family games & meals, the hot tub after a cold day of skiing ( -28 C), and the wonderful fireplaces. The owners were very welcoming, & were great with communication.

Perfect location

The property was as listed and the host made the check in process very easy. It was clean and cozy. The location was the highlight of the stay with the ski trail right off the deck.

Worth 5/5 just for the way the owner treats you

We have been joining our friends at a cabin for a summer get together for 15 years now, this by far was the nicest and most communicative owner by far. They made sure the booking was ready for us and even double checked that we got in and later made sure everything was as expected. The property was very well kept and had everything we needed to feel comfortable and cook for our group of 10. We had a great time hiking around Silverstar and going down to Vernon to enjoy the beach. Very much enjoyed our stay and the owner went out of his way to make sure the rental was the last thing we needed to worry about.

Empeccable stay

The house has plenty of room for our large family & friends. Also, very close to the silver star resorts, just walking distance. The property is very clean and the kitchen is well equipped! They put a well thought to the needs of their guest such as providing high chair and kid's books! Perfect for my 23 month old. The hot tub was nice for a quick relaxation. Phil has been an amazing host from checking in to check out. He was very attentive and quick on replying on our concerns/questions. Would recommend to everyone to stay here and my family can't wait to come back again. Thanks Phil for our empeccable stay!

This spot was perfect, even with almost 40° temperatures the house stayed temperate ! The kitchen is well supplied, the hot tub was great and the location was spot on for taking in the events. We stayed up a bit late one night enjoying an evening of laughter in the hot tub reminiscing about our rides and a neighbor complained. Phil was even very kind in how that was handled. Right from the first communications to the end it was easy and smooth communicating with the hosts ! I would book it again without hesitation !

Spring Break at Silverstar

This rental was perfect for our spring break getaway. The unit was spacious, allowing for our group to spread out. The large dinning table was perfect for our larger group to enjoy meals. Communication and support from Phil was excellent. This unit truly was ski-in/ski-out which we absolutely loved.

Great Ski in Ski out

Perfect on run accommodation. Step off the back deck right onto a groomed track that takes you right to the top of Silver Wood lift. When you are done your day ski down from Silver Queen or walk 50 yards from top of Silver Wood. Got lots of use out of the hot tub, ski locker and bbq.

We are avid skiers, and we love this resort and our vacation home. Nearly 30 years at Silver Star has given us a huge appreciation for all this magical place has to offer, from great winter alpine and nordic skiing and snowshoeing to awesome summer/fall biking and hiking. It never gets "old" here!

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Perfect central location to all on mountain activities and the village, and a terrifically comfortable and cozy feeling. Great for kids with its easy access to tubetown and skating rink, the toboganning right outside the door (sleds supplied) and the snowshoeing trail network. We can't wait to share this space with family, friends, and our guests.
