Lakefront Country Haven nära Ocala & Forest - Med kanot, flytvästar och grill!

Helt fantastiskt lakefront hem (en av mina 3 tillgängliga för dig) sitter på 300 fot strandlinje på Miles Kale Lake i nordöstra Marion County (mellan Ocala, Gainesville & Palatka) nära Orange Springs, FL. Otroliga renoveringar avslutades nyligen inklusive ett fantastiskt tillägg. Husets stora rum, byggt 1949, idrott av vackra träpaneler och en takbjälk. Det nya tillägget inkluderar en bekväm stor gourmet, mat i köket, en stor tvättstuga / skafferi, ett nytt badrum och en fantastisk skärmad veranda med utsikt över sjön. Stora Pella-bildfönster gör det möjligt att titta på sjön medan du lagar mat, äter och kopplar av. Denna lugna sjöresort ligger bara några minuter från Ocala nationalskog, många källor, floden Ocklawaha och de charmiga städerna McIntosh och Micanopy. Bryggan är perfekt för fiske och sjön för bad. Aktiviteter och attraktioner: lugn, utsikt, avkoppling; bad, fiske, båtliv - sandbotten, vårmatad sjö; snorkling i fjädrarna; använder floder i närheten (Oklawaha, St. Johns); Silver Springs Amusement Center; University of Florida & Central Florida Community College; Ocala Horse Farms; McIntosh 1890's Days; Micanopy konstnärsstad; enkel körning till antingen kusten (Daytona eller Cedar Key); Disney - 2 timmar.

Huset har nya, enastående madrasser i sovrummen: en Supplepedic Memory Foam madrass och en ny Serta Pillow-top komfortmadrass. Trillbädden i den sovande alkoven gör två enkelsängar och har två nya enkla vanliga madrasser.
För att rymma en sjunde person finns det en tvillingmadrass under drottningssängen i master BR. Det kan flyttas till vardagsrummet.

Andra sjöalternativ: Jag har två andra sjöstugor. En är granne med sin egen tunnland. Det är en homeaway-lista / fastighets-ID 117133. Detta ger gästerna möjligheten att ha stora grupper eller återföreningar i närheten för att njuta av att vara med varandra. Jag har hyrt båda stugorna för denna typ av samling många gånger. Sedan, vid nästa sjö över Big Island Lake, har jag ett annat fantastiskt hem i skogen: homeaway-lista / fastighets-ID 910353. Det är en fantastisk 2BR / 2BA stor redwood stuga med möjlighet till ett pensionat på samma fastighet. Denna reträtt sover upp till 9 bekvämt. Den har också en brygga och båthus.

We highly recommend this place!

We have stayed at the green and red house and had an awesome experience. We loved every single thing from these two places. If you want to have a really good time this is the place to stay. We are looking foorward to go back pretty soon!

A gem!

This cottage is comfortable and beautiful! Whoever designed its renovation took care to keep the charming feel of the original bones. The pond was so peaceful. We truly fell in love with the property and it was hard to leave to head home.

Beautiful, relaxing spot

Love this location on a lake in the forest. It's so quiet and relaxing. The screen porch is lovely, and the kitchen is fantastic to cook in. We spent 2 months here, and we didn't want to leave, lol.

Exactly as advertised!

My family and in-laws gathered for a three day weekend for my daughter's sixth birthday and the place was great! Very clean, lots of space, and the canoe/outside area was very nice to have. Definitely going to try and book this location again in the future!

Great family vacation!

We loved this lake house and will definitely be back! Our dogs enjoyed the run of the lake and yard. Our kids loved swimming in the lake. The canoes were nice to use and the house was clean and had everything we needed! Thanks for sharing this beautiful spot with us!

Great updated property in a quiet setting.

The house was a pleasant surprise. Nicely updated on the inside. Had access to a canoe which was great. The biggest thing for us was dog friendly. Very nice relaxing weekend which was exactly what we were looking for!

Too Short

The property was clean and comfortable. We were in the area to attend an wedding. It would have be nice if we could had a few more days to enjoy the property and do a little fishing. Great little place to go and do a little relaxing.

Felt like Home

We loved this lake house and will definitely be back! Our dog enjoyed the run of the lake and yard. The house was clean and had everything we needed! Only one of the canoes could be use the other was damaged.

House with a view

Overall, we really enjoyed our month-long stay. Its pretty centrally located between Ocala, Gainsville and St. Augustine, so plenty of day trips available. Don't miss Silver Springs State Park and the new World Equestrian Center in Ocala! The cabin is cozy and roomy. The screened porch facing the lake is wonderful. Beds are great. Couch and chairs in living room not so much. We would stay again

Best weekend getaway ever

The house was more immaculate in person, pictures did not do it justice once we were there. We arrived at dark so we didn't get a good view until the next day when we woke up, but it was breathtaking. Definitely our best stay yet, cannot wait to revisit in the future. Clean and comfy, cozy house with a lot of useful amenities offered. I would give 10 stars if I could

Great weekend stay! Very peaceful

Thee Four Horsemen came down from SC for the weekend to catch the South Carolina/FL game in Gainesville and we couldn't have gotten any luckier that we found this little slice of heaven. The house was very nice and perfect for a guys trip. It's right on the little lake and we were able to get a little fishing in before the game. Ride to Gainesville was very easy and little over 30mins to get there so we would recommend this location if anyone stays in the future looking to catch a game. We would definitely stay here again should we ride back into the Gainesville area.

If you can't relax here, then you can't relax.

I will truly miss this home. It was peaceful and quiet. Clean and accommodating. From the well stocked kitchen, to the plentiful linens for the bath and beds you won't need much. We really enjoyed the rides in the canoe, sitting on the dock and relaxing in the screened in porch. A wonderful cozy home that we will return to in the future.

Peaceful Lakeside Beauty

We truly enjoyed our 9 day stay at this beautiful, well appointed and maintained lakeside paradise. Everything was "as advertised" and then some. From the terrific kitchen to the high quality comfortable beds the accomodations were only outdone by the beauty and serenity of the setting! I would consider this one of the best vacation values I have ever experienced. There is no reason to ever leave the property but if you choose to there are lots of interesting things to do and places to visit. Kayaking on the Ocklawaha, fishing in Rodman Resevoir, Alexander Springs, and eating at the Orange Springs Cafe were among our favorites. The information provided to us by Ed Wynne (the owner) was terrific! He e-mailed us a packet with everything you need to know about the facilities, directions, advice on restaurants and activities, all very helpful and accurate. It was a pleasure to stay here and to do business with Ed. We will recommend this to all our friends and certainly return again in the future. Thanks for a great family experience! A native Floridian, this lake property was owned by my grandparents and my parents. The lake was one of our vacation homes where we spent time as a family and enjoyed being with our cousins who owned the cottage next door. The ten of kids had a blast and were always challenging one another on water skis, swimming, and many other activities.
