VÄLKOMMEN till vårt hem i "The Woods"! Denna stadsbostad ligger bland träd och är en modern skidstuga med bekvämligheter som hemma. Det ligger i ett lugnt, bekvämt läge strax intill golfbanan på en spår av Whistler's Valley Trail System, och bara 5 minuters promenad till Lost Lake.

Vardagsrummet har en vedeldad spis till mysig upp till efter en dag med utforska bergen, tvättstuga i svit och en stor balkong. Det stora sovrummet har en dubbelsäng med eget badrum. Det andra sovrummet har två enkelsängar och ett badrum tvärs över hallen. Medan soffan i vardagsrummet inte är en bäddsoffa är den tillräckligt bekväm för ett plus om det behövs. Lerrummet har ett skidställ, utrymme för hängande våt redskap, och basvärmaren torkar blöta handskar snabbt. Köket är utrustat för matlagning av full måltid eller bara en snabb frukost. Anläggningen har ett gemensamt badtunna och gratis underjordisk parkering för en bil.

På vintern är backarna lättillgängliga med den kostnadsfria Village Shuttle som stannar vid uppfarten och tar dig till skidliftarna vid Blackcomb Daylodge (till Wizard Express-hissen eller genvägen till Coast Blackcomb Suites). Och beroende på snöförhållandena kan du åka direkt hemma. För långsammare dagar finns det miles av XC-skidor runt Lost Lake på de nordiska spåren; och snöskor också, vacker dag eller natt. Byslutningen är alltid gratis, så lätt att ta sig till bybutiker, restauranger och nattliv.

På sommaren, om du inte rippar nerför parken, kan mountainbike runt Lost Lake hålla dig åka i timmar. Området är lika härligt för vandring, golf och bad på stranden i närheten av Lost Lake Park. The Upper Village har Family Adventure Zone, en kort promenad bort, där barn och vuxna!, kan komma på bungee-trampoliner, minigolf, go-vagnar, labyrinter, battingburar och mer! Whistler Farmers-marknaden hålls också varje söndag på samma plats. För dem som är öppna för en bekväm takt ligger Whistler Village bara 20 minuters promenad på spåret genom skogen och över en liten flod.

Perfect for families

This was a great spot for our family of four including teens. The condo is cozy and clean and has everything you could need. We enjoy this location in the Benchlands and the bus service to both Blackcomb and Whistler is quick and easy. Also a quick walk to Lost Lake for xc skiing.

Summer fun

This property was a great spot to enjoy summer time in Whistler. It was not busy in the complex which made it quiet and relaxing. The location is convenient for biking to all the local attractions. The condo was clean and had a well stocked kitchen for preparing meals.

Property was excellent, but… Vrbo failed to forward my email to owner or checkin instructions from owner to me on checkin date. So I had to call owner in US. This caused me a long distance charge of $5.60 from my mobility provider. I believe VRBO should refund me that amount.

Exceeds expectations

The location of the property was perfect. We stayed in August and Lost Lake was within walking distance (although I would drive next time considering we were carrying paddle boards). The village was also a nice walk away. Communication with the hosts was great. I would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the woods. The free bus stop is right outside if necessary. However, the location was great and we were able to walk with our two girls under two to everywhere we needed.

Great stay close to town

This apartment at the woods was the perfect spot for our family to relax and unwind after a day of skiing. The apartment was very spacious, giving us all plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was the best stocked of anywhere we stayed in our 4 weeks in Canada. Beds were comfortable and the property was only a short drive or bus trip in to town. The hot tub was a nice bonus. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we return to whistler.

Ideal for our father/adult daughter ski trip

The property description was spot-on and the hosts we very responsive and helpful. Location was a perfect blend of a very comfortable quite place for family time and sleep, with easy access to the village evening and night life, and even easier access to skiing. Shuttled bus is super convenient and runs early to late. No need for the car once you're there but easy to drive and park if you prefer it.

Wonderful stay in Whistler!!

Kelvin and Jane were wonderful hosts for our holiday stay in Whistler!! They were very responsive when I had an issue downloading a document via Vrbo and promptly sent the document via my Vrbo account email. Their place is very comfortable and was perfect for the 3 of us. It is also a very short walk to the free Whistler bus stop, which was very convenient for us to hop on and go to the resort. The home is well maintained and I would definitely rent from them again in the future. My only recommendation is for more comfortable mattresses, but other than that, it is certainly a 5⭐ stay!!

Great Value, Great Location

Perfect location close to everything and an overall great place to stay in Whistler. Only “negative” was we had issues with the coffee maker working but we were happy to use the espresso machine as a backup. The door handle can be a little picky to unlock but we figured it out. Owners responded to our questions immediately and we loved the place. Would recommend and would stay again.

A great week in Whistler

2 friends joined me for a week's ski trip. The condo was a perfect place for us. Convenient to the village and ski lifts via bus or a short drive. Hot tub just a short walk away. Covered parking space. Handy kitchen for cooking dinners in. Comfy living and dining area. Heated floors in the bathrooms. Just a solid, solid, place that we would gladly visit again.

Perfect stay!

This is such a great place. We were here skiing for a few days. The location was close to a free shuttle that brought us right to the mountains. The entrance of the house had plenty of space for us to leave all of our ski stuff to dry. The hot tub was well-maintained and really great after a day of skiing! The house was very clean, as well as very cozy. The space was a lot bigger than I expected from the photos posted. I would stay here again any time, very happily. Thanks for a great time!

Great Stay

This property is perfect for a family with space for everyone. Close to Lost Lake and the Whistler trail system. Whole family enjoyed their stay, riding bikes and walking into the Village. About a 15 - 20 min walk. Free shuttle service with a stop out front made it easy when kids got tired. Comfortable and quiet. Only challenge we had was parking for our Ford F150 as the garage parking was too tight for us to turn in to the space with other cars parked. Should be ok for a smaller vehicle. Extra guest parking spot worked out just fine for us. Great time and the property owner / manager was very responsive and helpful. Thanks for a great stay and would definitely come back!

Perfect for ski vacation for our family of 4

Our family just returned from our ski vacation in Whistler and we enjoyed our stay in this condo. I understand how challenging it can be when researching accommodations so I'll try to talk on all important points. Location: The location is absolutely perfect as the condo is steps from the bus stop for the free shuttle service for Whistler. The bus runs every 10 min and takes you to the Whistler village for skiing, dining or shopping. We actually got off at a resort stop before Whistler and skiied right on to the slope of Blackcomb. Couldn't be easier! With a little research, you can figure out the ski trail that allows you to ski back to the condo. We figured this out the final days of our stay. It is also located right next to Lost Lake Park with trails for walking and skiing. Condo: The condo was VERY clean and comfortable. We dined in a few nights and were very comfortable spending an evening "in". The couch was a bit soft, but still comfortable. Bathrooms are a great size with heated floors!!! So nice on the feet when it's cold out! We traveled with our 2 teen daughters and they loved having their own beds. The condo also had a fantastic entry with a bench and area to store skis and boots. The heater dried our boots each night. We've been on many ski vacations and I've never had such a nice entry for placing our skis. Complex: The parking included with the condo is covered which was nice as they got 40 inches of snow while we were there! The hot tub is steps from the condo and well maintained. We met many locals while soaking in the hot tub after days of skiing. All residents and locals from Vancouver were very kind and nice to talk to. Overall thoughts: The condo was a perfect choice for our family. It is close to the slopes and towns yet set privately among the trees and nature. We would love the opportunity to stay here again.

Jane is a neurologist and Kelvin works to restore fish habitat in PNW rivers. We are from Seattle and we absolutely adore Whistler. This townhouse is our occasional home so we work to make it comfortable for us, so we would hope it can be the same for you too.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We love the calm, quiet of the Benchlands and having the trees immediately outside the front door. The bonus of having the bus stop just next to the driveway, the ski-in route, Lost Lake trails... the place is just wonderful for us.
