En mysig bergsstuga som ligger 25 minuter väster om Flagstaff (och 65 miles från Grand Canyon). Kabinen står för Kaibabs nationalskog i en vacker sluttning inbäddad bland de höga tallarna. Det finns också en liten titt på bergen från köksfönstret! Stugan är inredd i riktigt "Northwoods-stil" mode och det är en sann naturreservat som ger dig chansen att "koppla ur" från din mobiltelefon, TV och elektronisk utrustning - så att du bara kan smutta kaffe på det stora däck medan du lyssnar till vinden genom tallarna. Du kan också njuta av vedkamin på kyliga dagar - så romantiskt! Denna stuga är fullt möblerad med en queen size-säng och en helt ny madrass. Det finns ett fullt utrustat kök med mikrovågsugn, kaffebryggare, kokutrustning, brödrost, kyl / frys och tvättmaskin och torktumlare. Det finns två bekväma fåtöljer och en bekväm soffa där en tredje person kan sova (det är INTE en utdragbar säng men). Varmt och kallt rinnande vatten (med en 1000 gallon cistern tank). Ett modernt badrum också. Stugan ligger mycket nära några spårhuvuden där du kan cykla, vandra, åka längdskidor eller rida på hästar. Det finns några ATV-spår i området också. Det finns också en bärbar hästpenna för 2-4 hästar (tilläggsavgift gäller om du tar med hästar). Flagstaff ligger bara 25-30 minuter bort och är ett utmärkt ställe att uppleva en av de många unika restauranger / butikerna. Eller så kanske du vill besöka Arizona Snowbowl för några utförsåkning (belägen precis utanför Flagstaff). Kabinen är också en rolig 25 minuters bilresa till Williams, AZ och 65 miles från Grand Canyon. Ta en naturskön tågresa från Williams till Grand Canyon. Du kommer att njuta av denna historiska resa.

Quaint, lovely cabin

Had a lovely stay at this cabin in the woods. Was nice to get away and have a quiet weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Clean, quiet cabin with all the conveniences. Highly recommend!!

Dream Cabin

Beautiful cabin. Amazing cedar aroma. Peace and quiet. When we weren’t exploring beautiful flagstaff we were sitting by the fire reading our books. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Quiet Getaway

My wife and I were very pleased with the cabin and especially the peace and quiet. We were there mid-week, so there were very few others in the area. We used it as a base for exploring the area including parts of Route 66 and the Grand Canyon.

Cabin in the woods

This is a cabin in the woods between Flagstaff & Williams. The cabin is well-used and quite dark day and night. There is no internet or satellite connection to the TV. Nice choice of DVD's

Great place to stay if you’re trying to get away from the city life for a bit. Directions too get to the cabin was a bit confusing but managed nonetheless. I would give it a 5/5 stars however, in order to stay warm you have to pay an additional 8$ for wood I would think the wood would come included with the stay since it’s one of the only ways to stay warm throughout the cabin. We managed to stay warm with the two miniature heaters in the bedroom and bathroom.

Nice cozy cabin with lots of amenities!

This property is off the beaten path and perfect for those looking for a little peace and serenity from all the hustle n bustle of life. Surrounded by pine trees is this cozy little cabin with a balcony that stretches from the front to the side of the building. It has a lot of amenities like fire place, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, toaster, coffee pot, washer/dryer, full bath, heaters, dishes,pots n pans, utensils, etc. They even have a corral for your horse. Great little get away spot!! I think you’ll enjoy it! Come check it out!!

We loved this cabin in the woods! Next time we would stay much longer to enjoy the coziness and the solitude for more than just the few days we had. There are other cabins nearby but the area is very quiet and remote. We had such fun hiking the Grand Canyon and exploring Route 66. The host is very responsive. Note to guests: be prepared to turn on the water by just flipping the switches on the outside near the back deck. Loved relaxing by the fire and watching stars from the outside deck. Stay here - you won’t regret it!!!

Quiet, Cozy Cabin!

We loved our stay at Koko’s cabin. It was the perfect home base for our daily adventure to the Grand Canyon. The drive is about 1.5hrs to and from but totally worth having the solitude and coziness of the cabin after a long day of hiking. Host was very responsive and polite. Would absolutely stay again. What a gem of a property!

Great little cabin

We very much enjoyed our stay here. It was very quiet and comfortable. Overall, it was clean and ready for us - the tub needed a little rinsing to get some bugs and lint out. The instructions were accurate to get things going and we didn't need any further contact with the host. While begin away from any large populations, it was still convenient to both Williams and Flagstaff (We particularly liked the diners in Williams). There is a radio in the cabin, but pretty much no signal, which is representative of the experience. If you are happy to disconnect entirely, this would be a great choice.

The location of this cabin is perfect for a getaway from the busyness of life. There is no cell coverage. The cabin is clean with ample supplies. The bed is very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

Amazing Getaway!!!

Koko's Cabin was a wonderful relaxing time away from the busy life!! We decided to spend Thanksgiving in the pines and it didn't disappoint!! We experienced snow, wildlife, and the warm comfort of the cabin and woodburning stove. We loved the bear & wildlife theme, comfortable recliners, old movies and a well staffed kitchen! We will definitely be back when the weather is warmer to experience all that that area offers. Our host was amazing and answered all my questions very efficiently!! Looking forward to our next stay!!

Perfect stay away, but convenient to everything!

We stayed at Coco’s cabin for a week for our 25th anniversary. We traveled from Pennsylvania! We loved the quiet, rural location, with views of the mountains, fields and wildlife. We visited many Arizona attractions, including the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Petrified Forest, the Meteor Crater, Williams and Flagstaff. All of these amazing things are within an hour and a half of the cabin! The cabin had everything we needed, right down to the pizza cutter, and coffee pot! We needed to get ahold of the Host one time, and he was very responsive, and got back to me right away. I highly recommend if you enjoy being way back a dirt road in the trees! My husband enjoyed the fact there was no phone reception, and work could not get a hold of him! We will definitely stay here again!

We moved from St Louis MO to Phoenix AZ in 2011. We love it in Phoenix. Some times we miss the green and that is why we bought Koko's cabin. Koko is the name of our horse. She is a rescue horse. We made sure she can stay at our Cabin safe. We love to be at our cabin in hot summer days in Phoenix or in cold winter up in Parks AZ. The wood burning fire place makes that cabin so cozy with some hot "koko". :)

Varför värden valde detta boende

This property is nicely on a slope and the terrain is exciting. When you look out of the kitchen you can see the Kendrick mountain. You see all the pine trees. It is breath taking to listen to the wind blowing thru the pine trees. At nights, it is pitch dark. You can see the starts so crisp clear. This is pretty much the wonderful way of being in the nature with the luxury of simple cabin. We just go there to relax. Get out of the day to day hectic and stress. I am so happy that the cell reception is very weak to non existence. You are disconnected from the electronic world. You could drive down the road and you will have some reception. Be conservative with water please. We have a 1000 Gallon Cistern. You can use 100 Gallons per day as included in your rent. Usually that is more than enough for 2 people. After that we have to charge you a small fee of 20 cents per Gallon.

You are out there in the forest, yet within 30 minutes you can be in downtown Flagstaff and 65 mils from GRAND CANYON. First Gas station is 6 miles away. There is a McDonald and Subway 10 minutes away. Breathtaking view of starts are right in front of the cabin! Flagstaff downtown 25-30 minutes away. Williams AZ about 25 minutes.
