En mysig bergsstuga som ligger 25 minuter vÀster om Flagstaff (och 65 miles frÄn Grand Canyon). Kabinen stÄr för Kaibabs nationalskog i en vacker sluttning inbÀddad bland de höga tallarna. Det finns ocksÄ en liten titt pÄ bergen frÄn köksfönstret! Stugan Àr inredd i riktigt "Northwoods-stil" mode och det Àr en sann naturreservat som ger dig chansen att "koppla ur" frÄn din mobiltelefon, TV och elektronisk utrustning - sÄ att du bara kan smutta kaffe pÄ det stora dÀck medan du lyssnar till vinden genom tallarna. Du kan ocksÄ njuta av vedkamin pÄ kyliga dagar - sÄ romantiskt! Denna stuga Àr fullt möblerad med en queen size-sÀng och en helt ny madrass. Det finns ett fullt utrustat kök med mikrovÄgsugn, kaffebryggare, kokutrustning, brödrost, kyl / frys och tvÀttmaskin och torktumlare. Det finns tvÄ bekvÀma fÄtöljer och en bekvÀm soffa dÀr en tredje person kan sova (det Àr INTE en utdragbar sÀng men). Varmt och kallt rinnande vatten (med en 1000 gallon cistern tank). Ett modernt badrum ocksÄ. Stugan ligger mycket nÀra nÄgra spÄrhuvuden dÀr du kan cykla, vandra, Äka lÀngdskidor eller rida pÄ hÀstar. Det finns nÄgra ATV-spÄr i omrÄdet ocksÄ. Det finns ocksÄ en bÀrbar hÀstpenna för 2-4 hÀstar (tillÀggsavgift gÀller om du tar med hÀstar). Flagstaff ligger bara 25-30 minuter bort och Àr ett utmÀrkt stÀlle att uppleva en av de mÄnga unika restauranger / butikerna. Eller sÄ kanske du vill besöka Arizona Snowbowl för nÄgra utförsÄkning (belÀgen precis utanför Flagstaff). Kabinen Àr ocksÄ en rolig 25 minuters bilresa till Williams, AZ och 65 miles frÄn Grand Canyon. Ta en naturskön tÄgresa frÄn Williams till Grand Canyon. Du kommer att njuta av denna historiska resa.

This is a beautiful cabin in the middle of the forest that you will absolutely enjoy. Stayed 3 nights and will come back for sure. The meadows nearby are safe and amazing to walk around, sleep under the trees and watch wildlife...deer, coyotes, birds... what a beautiful place. Ramin is an excellent host and was always responsive, provided clear instructions and even helped provide tips & local attractions to visit.

We loved this cabin in the woods! Next time we would stay much longer to enjoy the coziness and the solitude for more than just the few days we had. There are other cabins nearby but the area is very quiet and remote. We had such fun hiking the Grand Canyon and exploring Route 66. The host is very responsive. Note to guests: be prepared to turn on the water by just flipping the switches on the outside near the back deck. Loved relaxing by the fire and watching stars from the outside deck. Stay here - you won’t regret it!!!

Quiet, Cozy Cabin!

We loved our stay at Koko’s cabin. It was the perfect home base for our daily adventure to the Grand Canyon. The drive is about 1.5hrs to and from but totally worth having the solitude and coziness of the cabin after a long day of hiking. Host was very responsive and polite. Would absolutely stay again. What a gem of a property!

We moved from St Louis MO to Phoenix AZ in 2011. We love it in Phoenix. Some times we miss the green and that is why we bought Koko's cabin. Koko is the name of our horse. She is a rescue horse. We made sure she can stay at our Cabin safe. We love to be at our cabin in hot summer days in Phoenix or in cold winter up in Parks AZ. The wood burning fire place makes that cabin so cozy with some hot "koko". :)

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

This property is nicely on a slope and the terrain is exciting. When you look out of the kitchen you can see the Kendrick mountain. You see all the pine trees. It is breath taking to listen to the wind blowing thru the pine trees. At nights, it is pitch dark. You can see the starts so crisp clear. This is pretty much the wonderful way of being in the nature with the luxury of simple cabin. We just go there to relax. Get out of the day to day hectic and stress. I am so happy that the cell reception is very weak to non existence. You are disconnected from the electronic world. You could drive down the road and you will have some reception. Be conservative with water please. We have a 1000 Gallon Cistern. You can use 100 Gallons per day as included in your rent. Usually that is more than enough for 2 people. After that we have to charge you a small fee of 20 cents per Gallon.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

You are out there in the forest, yet within 30 minutes you can be in downtown Flagstaff and 65 mils from GRAND CANYON. First Gas station is 6 miles away. There is a McDonald and Subway 10 minutes away. Breathtaking view of starts are right in front of the cabin! Flagstaff downtown 25-30 minutes away. Williams AZ about 25 minutes.
