Nice getaway

Loved this cabin. Very cozy. We were there when temps were negative, and were pleasantly suprised at the warmth the cabin had. Barb was great, checked in, and was flexible with check in/check out times. It had everything we needed for some recharge/self care. Would love to come back sometime!

Fantastic VRBO!

Super cute house and exactly what I needed on my way from Arkansas to Minnesota. Less than a mile down the road from the house is a fantastic, fenced dog park if you travel with dogs.

Another Great Stay!

We had another wonderful stay at The Corn Crib on our first leg traveling from Wisconsin to Texas. Barb is a great host and provides everything needed and more. She has created a cozy, warm place to hang out and sleep (the beds are very comfortable)! We hope to always be able to stay with her on our travels through Iowa. Thank you Barb!

Love the corn crib

I can't emphasize enough how much I enjoyed my stay here. The owner of the property was so polite, and very professional. The cabin is cozy and extremely nice. I will be coming back.

Very Enjoyable

The Corn Crib is a lovely property. Barb is a delightful and responsive host! My husband and I delighted in the artistic details of the way the property was designed. It is not fancy, but comfortable and nice. We had everything we needed. Since it was just two of us we had plenty of room. If you had several people, it might be a bit tight as there are is not a lot of extra room for suitcases, etc. The firepit is nice. The area around the property was nice for a walk. The kitchen had everything we needed and Barb had provided breakfast foods and basic spices, butter, etc.

Awesome stay at the Corn Crib

Cool little cabin situated on a very private property. Owner is very nice and provides excellent hospitality. Very clean and full of amenities. Stayed here twice and have now made it my cross country pit stop when traveling. Highly recommend.

Relaxing Evening

We enjoyed just relaxing after our driving tour of Madison County Bridges. Atmosphere was quiet and cozy with everything we might need. Barb came to meet us. She was extremely easy to communicate with prior to our stay.

Great Getaway!

Barb was very friendly, and provided travel instructions ahead of time due to construction in the area. Everything in the cabin was clean and inviting. She had extra toiletries, a coffee bar, and informational brochures available. We would definitely stay there again!

Make this Crib your Crib

Loved this place. Comfortable inviting environment. Great lighting! Excellent shower! Quiet beautiful location! Take a walk down the gravel road to the park or go a bit farther around the bend to the beautiful iron trestle bridge, appreciate the prairie plantings and amazing diversity of birds along the way. Note that there are curtains closing off the sleeping areas not doors. This wasn't an issue for us. We hope that our travels bring us here again.

Great Owners and Great Spot!

Love this little rental! The location is very convenient and comfortable. The owner was absolutely wonderful and very concerned about our safety as storms moved through the evening we were there. We were able to have our dogs there which was a must for us as we were heading for Missouri. We will definitely use this rental again. Thank you for a great stay!

The Corn Crib is amazing!!!

We came from KC, Texas and Illinois and met for a girls weekend. This is an amazing place!! Everything about it. One of the bedrooms is a bunk bed just so you are aware. But we did not even leave the entire time. It was so cozy and comfortable and was exactly what we were looking for. If you are looking for a place to stay, look no further!!

Districts Duals

We were in Indianola for AAU districts duals wrestling and looking for someplace to stay for the night. The Corn Crib was the perfect quaint little cabin for the 6 of us. The breakfast items were an awesome bonus. Barb was a great host and we even bought the cutest little coffee mugs to commemorate our stay. If we’re ever in the area we would definitely stay here again!
