10/10!!!!! This was the best VRBO I've ever stayed in. Everything was absolutely perfect. It's a beautiful, place, quiet, safe and peaceful. They literally had everything we needed for our stay. Everything!!!! It was like being at home. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable. We had the perfect vacation. There is not alot to do in the area but if you want to just relax, this is a perfect spot. The management company was great. Although, we didn't need to contact them for anything. I would definitely stay here again if i ever come back to Alaska. Love it!!!

Welcome to Alaska

We moved to Alaska and this was where we stayed when we finished our long drive on the Alcan. A truly beautiful home with wonderful hosts. Thank you for making our first days in Alaska so welcoming! The views are stunning and the house feels like a true home. We are very thankful!

We loved the peace and quiet at this lakeside rental. We also loved the fact the unit was very well equipped and very, very roomy, with a great view of the lake. Sadly, there are no real sport fish in the lake. Even so, I would have rented the unit again for the whole month of June next year, but I see someone has, once again, locked up the middle week. Sad face lol

Perfect Stay

A Wonderful Place To Stay

Alaska in October

This is a lovely home! We visited family in the town of Big Lake and took day trips north and south to explore. We would love to visit in the summer and use the kayaks. Beautiful location on Birch Lake. We definitely hope to return soon.

A Lovely Stay

This was a perfect space for my husband and our son. Home was warm, clean, quiet, and very inviting. Morning coffee with that lake view will bring me back again.

We are empty-nesters, having raised a large, blended family, all of which are now scattered around the country. We have 11 grandchildren, and we expect that number to grow.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We live in Kansas, but recently purchased this property in Alaska because we have family that live there. Our son-in-law is the builder, and he and our daughter are co-owners with us. We are excited about starting a business venture with our Alaska family.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The property was designed with senior living in mind. It is all on one level, with wide doors and hallway, and easy shower access. However, the cozy and well-appointed home, the lake, and frequent wildlife views will be a real pleasure for all ages. The property is located within a quiet and secure gated community.
