Relaxing reunion

The property was a great little get away for our family. The lake is beautiful and relaxing and there were nice touches provided for us, such as bottled water and coffee. We left feeling rejuvenated.

Lake House

Beautiful home on lake. Went to MI for wineries. Grilled dinner both nights at house. Perfect weekend.

Long football weekend rental

We rented this pretty lake home for a football weekend to Notre Dame. The home was spotless and well appointed with the lake being an added bonus. We would highly recommend and hope to revisit in the future.

Amazing Stay!

We had a wonderful stay! We loved the property and really enjoyed the beautiful views of the lake! The birds, ducks, cranes, and swans were beautiful and fun to watch. Loved the big windows and spacious bedrooms. The large table in the dining room was perfect for our family to gather around at dinner. The owner was very kind and communicated with us from check in to check out with helpful advice. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Highly recommend!

From the moment you walk in you feel welcomed.

This cabin-like property has all the comforts of home. Lots of space to dine and relax together. The owners make an effort to make your stay nice by adding small touches here and there (we noticed!). We have been travelling to Notre Dame from Canada for 11+ years and this was our favorite property so far. Jeff and Lonnie were incredible hosts and we were most impressed with the cleanliness of the house. It was spotless! A lot of space, easy to access, and an incredible lake view. Long overdue family getaway!

We haven't been together as a family in over a year and was looking for a quiet, peaceful, relaxing home with a lake view....and we found it! The house was perfect for what we were looking for! House and kitchen was fully stocked. Owners left plenty of coffee and amenities to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The owner checked in often and offered suggestions on places to visit or try out! Quiet but also close enough to shopping, restaurants and wineries! Will definitely visit again!

Family weekend at Notre Dame

My family (2 adults and 3 children) stayed with my parents for a weekend during football season. It’s relatively close to campus and made setting up the tailgate and getting ready for the game an easy process. After the game it was a very comfortable and peaceful spot to relax and catch some rest before driving home the next day. There is a playground in the backyard that was perfect for our kids. The sunrise and sunsets over the lake made for a relaxing escape from Chicago and Columbus.

We were two couples who came into town for the Notre Dame football game. The location was less than 30 minutes from campus, sitting on a peaceful lake. Jeff, our host, was very communicative and had many helpful suggestions (places to eat, etc). The cabin was clean and the common space more than accommodated our party. There is one bathroom upstairs where the bedrooms are and two full bathrooms downstairs. The kitchen was tight on counter space but was adequate for preparing breakfasts. I appreciated the large dining table and sectional couch, where we could spread out. Unfortunately we were so busy we didn’t get time to enjoy the lake and water sports. I would definitely stay here again.

Quick Trip to South Bend Area

Had a great trip out to South Bend and Jeff made us feel right at home. The home was well put together and Jeff checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Great lake get away for ND football game

Beautiful lake lot only 20 minutes from Notre Dame Stadium. This home was very clean and has lots of communal gathering space with a really great view of the water. The owner provides very clear directions for check-in and anything you might need for your stay. It was also a very nice touch to be welcomed with cold waters and snacks.

Lakefront weekend getaway

The home on the lake is beautiful and perfect for groups. It is a great location - just far enough to be peaceful while also being conveniently located off the highway and relatively close to other activities and restaurants. The home is super cute with gorgeous windows and a fabulous deck we enjoyed coffee on. We took the kayaks out and enjoyed a fire in the evenings. It was easy to check in and Jeff was very responsive and understanding when we ended up having a flat tire and needed to check out late. Would definitely recommend staying.

Lodging for ND Game Weekend

We were in town for a Notre Dame football game. This house was perfect for our group which consisted of 3 couples. It was a nice weekend, so we spent most of our time sitting on the patio enjoying the surrounds of the huge yard and lakefront. We will definitely stay here again if available.

Nice home with plenty of space for the 6 of us. Not a great swimming area off the deck but not far to go to swim. Bedding is great. Paper products and toiletries provided was nice.
