Clean home, with all the amenities to make a week long trip with two teenage kids and grandparents occupied and happy! Owner was extremely accommodating to our evolving trip changes and needs. Beautiful view - make sure to look up at night to see the beautiful stars!

Great house with beautiful views and nice outdoor areas. Lots of seating at dining table and in living room. Centrally located in Finger Lakes region so day trips to Ithaca, Corning and other areas are easy. Lots of nice touches, such as plenty of fresh towels, paper products and kitchen items are an added convenience.

July 4th Weekend at Keuka Lake

This property was just as advertised with lovely views of Keuka Lake. My family loved playing in the lake, fishing off the dock and touring the lake with the kayak. We really enjoyed our trip to the Finger Lakes, and the house is in the perfect location, easy to get to Watkins Glen State Park.

Amazing house and location

My family really enjoyed our stay as the home was very well maintained, had wonderful views from every room of the house, and was in a great location on the lake for easy day trips. I would definitely come back and highly recommend to my friends and family.

Comfortable cottage well suited for adults.

Clean, well equipped holiday spot. We were a group of adult guys who could go up and down stairs without issue. Great games room with pool table and darts. Great view of the lake.

There are so many wonderful aspects of this home that I actually feel are undersold in the listing, along with one detail I wish had been communicated more clearly.The home is beautiful, clean, spacious, and incredibly well equipped! There are 4 queen beds between 3 bedrooms, plus 2 queen pull-outs in the living room and garage/arcade. My nephew was thrilled to claim the arcade/garage as his “crib”! The kitchen is TRULY fully stocked (pots/pans/measuring spoons/etc.), and there are tons of games available in the first floor bedroom as well.The lake views are beautiful—my mother, who is an artist, was even inspired to color the view from the balcony! I also got to kayak, canoe, and paddle board for the first time and absolutely loved it!The one unexpected aspect was the home’s location. It sits above the lake, across a fairly busy 55 mph road, which wasn’t apparent to me from the listing. I had expected direct access to the dock rather than needing to drive (though it is a very short drive). Traffic noise was also noticeable at night and while enjoying the decks. I hope this is made clearer for future guests.Overall, we had a very good stay, with several features that exceeded our expectations and a few that we simply weren’t anticipating.

We especially loved hearing that the view inspired your mother to create some artwork during your stay! We also appreciate your comments regarding the location and will continue to make the property layout as clear as possible for future guests. Ardmore Glenn is located in a highly desirable area on the east side of Keuka Lake, along NY Route 54, which is the primary road that follows this side of the lake. The home sits elevated above the lake, which is what provides the expansive lake views from the house and decks. Our private lakefront and dock are located just acro the road from the house and are a very short drive away. Many homes along this portion of Keuka Lake are situated on or above Route 54 because of the steep terrain surrounding the lake, and we specifically chose Ardmore Glenn for the combination of its elevated views, large property, spacious accommodations, and private access to Keuka Lake. We understand that guests looking specifically for a home where they can walk directly out the fron door onto a dock may prefer a different type of lakefront property, and we appreciate the opportunity to make that distinction even clearer in our listing. Amazing week

We had a great week at Ardmore Glenn - the home was spotless and exactly as pictured. We took full advantage of the board games pool table can jam and enjoyed the amazing views of Keuka sitting on the decks every day. Several of us had to work and the internet was very fast. Great location - close to many restaurants- we had delivery too. Lakeside we enjoyed the kayak and lounging on the beach and water. Highly recommend!

Keuka Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at the lake house. It was roomy enough to accommodate six adults and two teens comfortably. The boys enjoyed the game room with a pool table, a projection TV and an assortment of games. The view of the lake from the deck was beautiful. Even though there was a little walk to the lake, we enjoyed the water every day. We brought paddle boards and the host provided a paddle board and a kayak and, with the host’s permission, we were able to dock a boat! We were able to enjoy many hours on beautiful Keuka, our favorite lake!

I wish I had seen the prior review regarding it not being a lakefront property despite being described as such...seemed deceptive. The lake, although close by is not next to the house and you have to cross a high speed road to get there. The house is lovely, kitchen well equipped, beds comfortable but the house sits above that noisy road. The lake is beautiful and the kayaks and water floats provided were fun. The lower level game room is not accessible from the house. You have to go outside to get in there. The AC was great but there was no vent in the first level bedroom so it was warm in there. The wellwater from the spigots was black with sediment, so taking a shower in that was not what I had in mind for my getaway. Tom did offer a generous credit for the water inconvenience. The surveillance camera placed in the corner of the living room was off putting. Wine tasting at the winery behind the house was fun but drove since the "path" is overgrown. My family enjoyed the lake, Watkins Glen state park, the Corning glass museum, the jet ski rentals and the propane fire pit.

Thank you for your booking! We appreciated the feedback, our home sits upon the Keuka Wine Trail and is in high demand during the summer months. The best part of the house is the private beach across the street where the hustle and bustle of a busy vacation resort melts away and your quiet vacation can begin. Unfortunately during your stay we did experience a drought and the well was stressed beyond the point of use, we have since taken steps to ensure this never happens again and appreciated you working through it with us.

Keuka

Really enjoyed the property but because of problems with the well water it put a damper on the stay. My wife unfortunately had gastric problems and we had to head home in middle of second week. Other couple was able to stay. We were able to visit many wineries and had some very good meals out. Don’t know whether owner changed the filter on water system as he promised. Although the early heavy rainfall impacted the situation, we were under the impression water was safe but had to go to bottled water for remainder of stay. Overall a really nice home with beautiful views, etc.

Beautiful home in a beautiful setting

The pictures do not truly show how beautiful this house is. The view over the lake is breathtaking. We thoroughly enjoyed the views along with the lovely fireplace each morning with our coffee. The house was spotless and comfortable. We would book again if visiting this area.

Lovely vacation home!

Our family enjoyed 4 week-days at Ardmore Glen. Loved the privacy of its woodland setting. Inspiring views of lake from the decks. Lots of time spent at the beach area. We appreciated all the amenities the hosts provide as well as the detailed communications provided. Quick response to all our questions.

Weekend stay

The house was clean and as noted in the photos. Driveway was steep but that led to wonderful views over the multiple decks located at the house. We had a wonderful stay.
