Holbrook är en lugn stad i hjärtat av Route 66. Min familj har bott här hela vårt liv och älskar vår stad. Vi har en två story hem med med en fåglar ögonkikt över Holbrook och det historiska Wigwam Hotel som var inspirationen för Cosy Cone Motel i Disney's Cars film. Nedervåningen är för våra gäster och är bekväm, mysig och ren. Vi är 20 minuter till en fyra timmars bilresa till The Painted Desert, Petrified Forest, Grand Canyon, Four Corners National Monument, Sedona och mycket mer.

Bottenvåningen har tre sovrum, ett badrum, vardagsrum och matplats samt ett biljardbord. Det finns också en privat uteplats där våra gäster kan njuta av vårt Arizona väder med en fantastisk utsikt över Holbrook. Det finns en gångväg som leder från gatan där du kommer att kunna parkera ditt fordon och ha privat tillgång till bakdörren. Vårt hem är den perfekta tillflyktsorten från ensamresenärer som tycker om deras utrymme för grupper av vänner och familjer som kan resa tillsammans. Vi har ett mini kylskåp, mikrovågsugn, brödrost och kaffebryggare i din privata matplats. Vi tillhandahåller även papper / plastplattor, bestick, koppar och servetter.

Varje rum har en T. V. med en DVD-spelare och det privata vardagsrummet har kabel och ett äpple T. V. Vi har ett urval av DVD och brädspel för gäster att använda. Det finns individuella kylare i varje rum för att göra din vistelse bekvämare på sommaren. Du kan njuta av en trevlig promenad eller cykeltur runt det vänliga området.

Comfy and cozy

My adult daughter and I stayed 2 nights while visiting the Petrified Forest. We felt very comfortable and we very much appreciated the bagels and coffee that were left for our breakfast. Shockingly several inches of snow arrived on our second night ( despite being mid April) We were warm and cozy at the Bird Nest. I recommend this VRBO to anyone coming to the area

Fantastic Stay at Bird’s Nest

We greatly enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Bird’s Nest. Communication with the host was easy and the home was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. We had everything we needed supplied: from soaps, shampoos, hair dryer, plenty of towels to breakfast items like bagels, bread, juice, cereals, etc. Do not hesitate to book your stay at this wonderful location when you’re visiting the Petrified Forest and Holbrook, AZ area!breakfast items

Petrified Forest National Park Stay

Our two nights stay at this B&B was the perfect place for our visit to the Petrified Forest National Park. Cynthia was a great host with her provided breakfast items and home amenities. Would not hesitate to stay again when traveling through on I40.

Perfect for our short visit to the Holbrook area and petrified forest

This place had everything we needed for our short visit to the Holbrook area. Loved the walk down entrance and door to the backyard. It was all lit up when we arrived after dark. Very clean and orderly and had everything we needed. Even though it doesn’t have a kitchen, the it has kitchen appliances like mini fridge, microwave, toaster and the host had some extra food and coffee and tea for our use. We just brought some prepared food for our dinners.

Perfect getaway

I cannot express enough how nice this Vrbo is. We had three bedrooms all to ourselves, plus plenty of sitting room. The host was very communicative and had a bunch of info about the area in the living room. We were able to use that to plan out the rest of our trip. Plus she provided extras like bagels for us for our stay. We were sad we weren’t staying longer.

Best place to stay near the Petrified Forest

This is my second stay here in the Bird Nest. It is very quaint, comfortable, immaculate and Cynthia goes out of her way to think of everything you would need. I would and will stay there again. I just love the Petrified Forest.

Comfortable and relaxing

This sweet little place is roomy and comfortable. It is close enough to Petrified Forest Nat Park to travel back and forth each day. Cindy is a great and thoughtful host! Highly recommend.

Great location for Petrified Forest visits.

This is our 3rd stay at this property in the last 3 years. We like to hike at Petrified Forest National Park which is only about 20 minutes away. Cindy is a gracious host and very responsive.

Petrified Forest Stay

Older-style home filled with charm, lots of toys for the granddaughter to play with. Owners provided lots of thoughtful touches to make our visit a nice one. Only one bathroom was difficult for five of us.

Spectacular Stay

Out stay at the Bird's Nest exceeded all expectations. The details and touches amazed us and we just kept finding new ones. We played basketball, pool and the piano. What fun it was.

Great little place with a lot of space!

This was such a cute space! We were just spending the night during a road trip and the space was perfect. It is the bottom floor of a house, but has it's own entrance and yard. There's no kitchen but the space includes a coffee maker, toaster, and mini-fridge (with some breakfast fixins included!) which was more than enough. Great spot- no compaints.

Bird Nest Fabulous Stay

More than just as advertised. The Bird Nest was spotless and so cosy and comfortable. Didn’t miss a full kitchen at all. Fridge, toaster snd microwave were all we needed. There is a grill that we didn’t use but could of. Cindy and her husband were so kind. Close to the Petrified Forest where we had a great time.

Very comfortable and highly recommended

The photos really do not do Cynthia’s house justice. It was much larger than expected and had a very homely feel to it. We were ahead of schedule and Cynthia very kindly allowed us to check in early. We met her soon afterwards and it is clear she cares about her guest’s comfort. She had left us plenty of breakfast food and other essentials. We were very comfortable throughout our stay and would highly recommend Cynthia’s house for a stop over in Holbrook.

Bird nest

Exactly as advertised. Only problem was NOT the property owners. Our rental car mapping was accurate on our 2,100 mile trek EXCEPT for this address. We entered it as advertised, which was correct, complete with the “west” designator. It brought us to the wrong house-by a bunch! We eventually found it. So beware your GPS!

Spacious accommodations

This property was full of amenities and every little detail that you could ever ask for or want. There were only two of us, but if you had a large group, there was only one toilet, which was a bit of an issue just for us.. She had a complete coffee bar as well as bread, milk, etc. a great touch of hospitality!

Lovely Stay

We had a wonderful time at the Bird’s Nest. The hostess Cindy was so kind and hospitable. The VRBO was very comfortable and had extra amenities we did not even expect. She even checked in to see if we needed anything else while we were there. She went above and beyond. The location was great. It was only 20 minutes from the petrified forest national park.

I enjoy getting to know different people from different cultures and I have hosted exchange students from Brazil and Germany. I have four grown children, two girls and two boys and two beautiful granddaughters. My husband and I have been happily married for 37 years. We enjoy spending time outside, 4 wheeling, camping, fishing and hunting. We enjoy cooking together, we make some excellent green and red chili burritos, if time and availability allows would be open to sharing with our guests. I love to go on vacation to the beach and Disneyland. I love spending time with my children and I am very excited to Host and meet new people from different walks of life

We both were born and raised in Holbrook. We lived around the block and this house came up for sale, I loved it, the whole layout of the home we did all the landscaping ourselves and have made it our Home.

Old Route 66 goes right thru downtown Holbrook and we are right off the I-40 giving you easy access to both. We are close to Arizona's National parks.
The property looks over Holbrook and the Arizona landscape, also has huge living room windows that look over the entire views.
