Välkommen till Bass Lake Lodge! Där hittar du skönheten i en lugn sjö och bekvämligheter för att få dig att känna att du är hemma. Husdjur är INTE tillåtna och Rökning förbjuden i uthyrningen.

Bass Lake Lodge ligger på Bass Lake sex miles utanför Traverse City. Bass Lake är en liten, vårmatad sjö som ligger inbäddat mellan Silver Lake och Long Lake. Det är en 343 hektar all sport sjö som erbjuder en lugn och lugn atmosfär. Det erbjuder också vackra höstfärger!

Det finns fyra öar på sjön, var och en gör den mer unik. Det finns en liten offentlig strand och båt lansering som ligger en mil bort från huset. Södra änden av sjön är omgiven av State Lands och ett tjejscoutläger, vilket erbjuder en trevlig plats för fiske. Det finns massor av vilda djur i, på och runt vattnet. varje år ser vi ett par loons som boar i närheten på sjön. Och sjön är också hem för en majestätisk skallig örn!

Bass Lake Lodge ligger centralt Sex miles till Traverse City och sju miles till Interlochen. (Interlochen är hem till Interlochen Center for Arts National Music Camp.)

Bass Lake Lodge är 1350 kvadratmeter och är fylld med knutrig tallrik och tung- och spårskivor i hela hemmet, vilket ger den en vacker "stuga" känsla.

Flera ombyggnader har ägt rum under åren, inklusive:
~ Vinter 2009 - nya mattor, lampor, gips / färg, porslin och kalkstenskakel.
~ Badrummet var ombyggt på vintern 2010 - nytt badkar, porslin kakel och commode. ~ En ny soffa, liggande stolar och matsal bordssats tillsattes också.
~ Ett anpassat kök lades till hösten 2011; erbjuder hickory skåp (fylld med allt som är tänkt att göra matlagning måltider en bris). En ny "större" kylskåp (med ismaskin och vattendispenser) och diskmaskin tillsattes. Porslinens golvplattor accentuerar koordinerande countertoop och backsplash - vilket ger dig gott om plats för att laga mat.
~ Ett nytt tak och sidospår läggs till i slutet av 2016. Under denna ombyggnad ersattes den vedeldade eldstaden med en gaspanna. * Ett klick på en brytare och du kan njuta av en mysig eld medan du tittar på den vackra naturen utomhus genom en av de många fönster som vetter mot sjön.
Hemmet har också ett tvättstuga med kommersiell storlek tvättmaskin och torktumlare. Och det finns också privat WIFI vid hyra utan extra kostnad.

Hemlandet har mjukt gräs (sommartid) och massor av blommor. En eldstaden ligger nära vattnet och är omgiven av en stor betong uteplats. (Ved tillhandahålls för din bekvämlighet.) Det finns ett stort däck på baksidan av hemmet med utsikt över sjön och en vacker soluppgång. Det finns en 4 "x 40" non slip dock med en 8 "x 16" uteplats på vattnet. Uthyrningen inkluderar användning av en roddbåt och en 5-personers paddla båt (endast sommartid). Redningsvästar tillhandahålls.

Nice Lake Location, Close to Everything
My family and I spent two nights at this lovely cottage on Bass Lake. Clean and comfortable for the four of us with room for more. So many things provided for an enjoyable lake house stay including a row boat, kayaks, grill, fishing poles, fire pit, laundry (clutch when taking a lake vacation) and everything needed to make the perfect s'more. We were only there for two nights in early October and were busy trying to take in as much fall color and festivals the area offered during that time so we ran out of day light to get on the water, but the pier was a beautiful place to watch the sunrise with a cup of coffee. Note, there is a relatively early check out time in the VRBO rental world (9:00 am) so if you have littles that need wrangling in the morning you may want to start gathering things the night before departure and make sure you look over your check out responsibilities. Overall. a great experience and would definitely book the space again. If you decide to choose this property, you will not be disappointed.

Amazing property with great views
This property did not disappoint. It was well stocked and very clean. The beautiful deck overlooking the lake was amazing. We loved sitting on the deck drinking wine. The firepit was also great and the wood was provided by the host.

Another relaxing stay
This was our third year staying here. House is always comfortable and extremely clean. Owner lives across the street and is happy to help as needed but is not intrusive at all. Communication with her is great. We love swimming and kayaking in the lake, the proximity to Traverse City and performances at Interlochen and dining at small local restaurants. We already have our next stay booked.

Peaceful and relaxing
House is clean and tidy. One bathroom ok for two. Kitchen well equipped. Beds comfy. Nice porch on lake with table and umbrella. Fire pit and chairs near lake. Seat for 2 on dock. Fishing not great at all from the dock. One bass and one bluegill on spinners. We are both over 65 so rowboat and kayaks were not a good fit but we are canoe people. Ha. Owner very nice and helpful. Neighbors friendly. Day trips every day to dunes, beaches and wine country. Everything we saw was an hour or less away. Very very nice and worth the price. Enjoy! TD

Bass Lake Lodge relaxing fun
Our first stay at the Lodge and hopefully not our last. We all really enjoyed so much about this cabin. It had all the modern amenities yet the charm of a cabin. The beds were comfortable and the recliners in the living room were so nice to relax and have coffee. The back deck was amazing and we had many meals looking into the lake. We loved the access to the kayaks and paddle board. So many thoughtful details set this place apart. Thank you Jennifer for sharing your place with us.

Awesome vacation cottage
A great place to stay for vacation. Everything you need is there-just bring you food and clothes and you are ready to relax and enjoy the lake. Husband caught over 100 fish, kayaking was great. You are close to Traverse City, Interlochen, Beulah, & Frankfort. Enjoyed eating out at 2 breweries and eating cherry pie from the Cherry Hut.

Charming and Cared for home
It is evident that the owners want the their renters to fall in love with the home as much as they have over the years. The home is very well maintained with cleanliness, detailed accommodations and charm. Excellent communication prior to our stay. Loved the welcome s’more welcome basket:) we would certainly rent again in any season as this home is great for a long relaxing week or a quick weekend getaway. Book with confidence and then relax in the this up north gem.

Parent Getaway
This property was perfect for our first trip away from our baby. We stayed 3 nights and all 3 were great! Guests being comfortable is thoroughly consider from the new furniture in the living room and outdoor furniture, all way to how soft the bedding sheets were! We truly felt in an “up north” cottage with all the decorations as well! There are board games too, which we are super thankful for since we brewed ourselves out going to all the breweries by Saturday! Enjoyed a nice fire, and wonderful views off the lake. We will definitely be back!

No such thing….
As a bad day at the lake. This place was adorable. Everything was as it looks in the site. Accommodations were clean and welcoming. The host was awesome even letting us know the house was clean and we could check in early. The welcome note and treats that she left were also a welcome surprise. This house is so well stocked with everything you could possibly need and if you can’t find it, you probably didn’t need it anyway.

Great Lake Getaway!
Jennifer was a great host! The cabin was fully loaded with just about everything you could need. I wish I would've known about this place earlier in the summer, we probably would've spent a week or longer! The cabin itself was cozy with plenty of places to relax and the beds were also really comfortable.Too much to do in a single weekend, You wont be disappointed! This trip was a great way to end summer! Thank you for a pleasant and relaxing stay!

Bass Lake lodge was a very restful and convenient location to explore the traverse city and sleepy b
The location is excellent if you want to explore the traverse city area and sleepy bear dunes with a more relaxing stay than what traverse city offers. The lake is so serene and quiet. We swam, paddle boarded and kayaked and roasted marshmallows by the fire each night. Popping into TC for dinner was a breeze. We didn’t want to leave. The cottage was easy, clean and well stocked. We would definitely stay here again if we return to the area. Neighbors were all lovely- full of advise and assistance. The owners clearly takes pride in the property and are super with assistance and communication.

I am an original vacation rental 'owner' on Bass Lake! I have been renting out this home for over 20 years as a vacation property, it is the only property that I have, and it is my pride and joy! Along with my husband, we have done many renovations to the home and property over the years. It is modern but with a cottage feeling.

The neighborhood is definitely the place to be! I refer to it as my own little piece of Heaven. Most of the residents in the area have been here for quite some time. It is located off of the 'beaten path' but is still close to everything!

I have put a lot of thought into the rental with the intention of making your vacation as easy and enjoyable for you as possible. From linens to everything you might need in the kitchen as well as firewood and life vests are just a few of the no charge extras that I provide. It is exactly as it is advertised, no surprises! Should a problem or question arise, we reside across the street from the rental and are always a phone call away. You will never have to deal with a rental manager or agency. Previous guests have thanked me and provided me many flattering comments about The Bass Lake Lodge. Please review my "comments" from previous guests to see how truly special it really is.

I hope you will be as excited to vacation at The Bass Lake Lodge as I am to live in this wonderful area!

Originally built by my Father and Grandfather, the home has been part of my family for many years. Over that time, it has been remodeled and reflects all the creature comforts for you to enjoy.
I grew up down the street from the home, then resided in it for several years until a job transfer moved me out of town. At which time I turned it into a vacation rental. Since then, I have moved back and now live across the street from the rental.
Bass Lake is a wonderful, quiet lake. (Mostly pontoon boats, fishing boats and kayakers.) The home has a great view to the east; looking at Kennard Island. The sunrises are nothing short of amazing!
The Bass Lake Lodge offers many amenities that other rentals do not offer; free firewood for bonfires, rowboat and kayaks for use on the lake, no 'added fees' for cleaning, taxes, etc..., beautifully landscaped with lots of flowers and trees, privacy, easily accessible, paved/private parking and an owner who is very committed to making your vacation the best one ever!
