Honua Kai är en av Mauis nyare badorter vid stranden. Det ligger på västsidan av ön på norra Kaanapali-stranden. Det byggdes 2009 och ligger på 43 tunnland vackert anlagd paradis. Honua Kai har en infinitypool, bubbelpooler, lata floden, en barnpool med en rutschkana och en tyst pool för vuxna. Det finns 3 grillplatser för din användning. Den välkända Duke's Bar and Grill ligger i lokalerna. Det är en restaurang med full service ... njut av happy hour med levande musik. Anläggningen har vackra utomhuslobbyer med ett spa och ett nyligen utökat gym.

Njut av vår rymliga 1 sovrum / 1 badrumsvit med 11 ft tak och stor privat lanai med plats för hela familjen. Vår svit ligger på södra sidan av Hokulani-tornet. Sovrummet har en king size-säng med ett stort angränsande badrum. Den har hans / hennes sänkor, en stor stalldusch och badkar. Vardagsrummet har en bekväm drottning soffa med dubbelsäng. Sviten är fullt möblerad med ett modernt möbelpaket, Bosch-köksapparater och Bosch-tvättstuga. Ett anpassat NanaWall skjutdörrsystem (vägg till vägg och golv till tak) ger utsidan in och skapar en sömlös upplevelse mellan inre och yttre bostadsyta.

I vardagsrummet finns en 55 "ultra high def smart-TV som inkluderar premiumkabelkanaler, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube och mer. Sovrummet har en 40 "HD-TV. Vardagsrums-TV har också en DVD-spelare.

Fantastic stay and excellent host

It was a solid location with lots to do yet easy to travel and see other parts of the island. Property was clean and had everything we needed, and we had great communication with the owners before and during our stay.

Great stay

It was clean. We loved all the amenities, especially the sand toys! The owner was very receptive to my needs. I think the only drawback was that the dryer didn't work well and we ended up hanging our clothes to dry. If that get fixed, we are so going to rent it again!

Wonderful hosts & a perfect place for families!

The resort is an excellent place for families. From the ease of access, multiple pools, location right on the beach, towel service, lots of food options within walking distance - it's a win win win! The apartment itself was clean, great for cooking and the bed was super comfortable. Loved being on the 1st floor to enjoy the lanai. Thank you Al!

Great location!

We loved the location and felt like it was one of the better spots in the building. The outside area is private and it’s on the side of the building closer to the snorkeling part of the beach. So easy to walk back and forth if you forgot something. Love the pools and ease of everything with kids too.

Perfect for a family of 4!

We loved this place! It was perfect for our family of 4 and we would highly recommend this unit and the resort. We loved not having to deal with stairs and elevators and enjoyed the patio and yard. The hosts were very helpful and passed along some great tips and recommendations.

Perfect Location, Great Communication

Clean, exactly as billed, well stocked kitchen, perfect for our week long stay at HK. The owners were so nice and very easy to communicate with. The towel exchange program that they belong to is a major perk! Great place!

Loved our stay at this wonderful spot

Great unit. Sparkling clean and comfortably furnished. Ground floor lanai patio is private and easy to come and go with beach chairs (provided). Kitchen well supplied to make meal prep easy. Very attentive hosts that provided lots of suggestions for things to do, eat, see etc while in Maui. We appreciated that they reached out personally to check that all was well. We’ve stayed in many places in Maui and we’ll definitely return to this one.

Wonderful Condo

This condo was perfect and just as described. We loved having the garden area to enjoy and eat in . It is so quiet being next to only one other condo. The resort is beautiful . Having a great restaurant like Dicks 2 minutes walk is a bonus. The beach here is gorgeous. We saw so many whales !Do not hesitate to rent this condo!

Fantastic!

We unfortunately had bummer weather (by Maui standards) but the property was so convenient to be in and out of based on how we were coping. The property was beautiful and our hosts were so kind to check in and make sure we had everything we needed.

Description of property is spot on. Conveniently located wuthin steps to the beach via patio or pool through front door. Al made sure we had use of beach towels since towel machines were not up and running. Will definitely stay in this unit again

Fun for the whole family

Great property for families. Several pools, hot tubs, and super easy beach access. Our host / unit owner was very helpful and provided clear instructions on how to check in and access all of the available amenities. Our condo unit was very clean, with a well appointed kitchen, washer & dryer, smart tv's, cold A/C, and ground level lanai with grassy area for the kids. We enjoyed our time at Honua Kai and would definitely go again.

We travelled with our 8 month old son and there were accommodations with a high chair and pack and play. Property was in a convenient location with a beautiful view. Would rent again.

Perfect getaway!

Honua Kai is our favorite property and this condo is fantastic. Very clean with a great location (very convenient to parking, pool, lobby). The amenities provided by the owners were very appreciated (body boards, chairs, beach umbrella). You will not be disappointed!

Family Fun!

Had a great time with just our family of 4. This place for the most part really has everything you need to stay there and enjoy the beach, snorkeling, pool fun, food. The room H116 we stayed in was perfect for our needs. Very close walk to the beach, pool areas, Dukes, coffee and hotel stores, This ground floor unit was great for us to open up the patio doors and allow the 4 and almost 2 year old to run around or play on the grass area when getting up in the morning and making breakfast or just back to the room for a break and the evening time/dinner. The ground unit also made great for us and our loaded up wagon with items we kept on the back patio to go back and forth from the beach or pool with. Not having to go in and out of elevators with the wagon and just walking in or out of the patio was great. If you did go out the front door it’s just seconds to another door outside and main area and down to the pools and dukes or beach. Overall it was just a great fit for our family and interest of not having to load up/unload a car every day and go out to get to these kinda things.This room had a good amount of beach chairs and sand toys, pool floats in the closet for use too!

Great stay as always at the Honua Kai! Al and Suzanne we're awesome hosts always available and willing to help in any way. The're home was clean and minutes to the beach. The garden setting added to the privacy and put this unit above the best we have stayed in at the Honua Kai. We'll be back in a year.

All Around Amazing

First, the property is beautiful and as a bonus the owners were amazing. Nice one bedroom with plenty of room. Spacious bedroom and bathroom, especialy for a one bedroom condo. Plenty of toys to choose from, beach, pool, picnic, you name it it's there for your use. Thanks for letting us enjoy your place Al and Suzanne, we will be back!

Honua Kai unit A116 review

This property was as described. Good location and well appointed. We had a very good experience except for one major issue. The bed in the master bedroom was too soft for my wife to sleep on. She spent one sleepless night in the bed, after which she spent the next six nights trying to sleep on the couch in the living room. This was a big surprise for us as we would think most folks would prefer a firm bed. But this bed was/is quite soft. So we would not stay in this unit again. Otherwise, all aspects of this unit were well appointed and satisfactory.

Exceptional West Maui Getaway

Our stay at Al and Suzanne's property was outstanding. Check in is super easy, the place is beautiful and very well appointed, complete with beach gear (chairs, umbrella, toys for kids) and a cooler. We grabbed some snorkel gear from a nearby rental shop and made our way all around Maui. We were in frequent contact with Al, who ensured we had everything we needed. Although we were only there a short five days, we'd definitely book Al and Suzanne's place again if staying on the west side. Thanks for a stellar vacation experience!

We have loved Maui and especially the Kaanapali beach area since we first brought our young family in the early 90's. Since then we have not stopped coming back to Maui. When we land, it always feels like home. We initially purchased a 2 bedroom suite in 2014. We strive to maintain both of our suites in "as new" condition and truly value our guests. Our two bedroom suite VRBO # 584276 is just one floor up and two suites over. A one minute walk up the stairs.

Because it is our home away from home, we have included everything you need to make it feel like your family's also. A custom NanaWall sliding door system (wall to wall & floor to ceiling) and eleven foot ceiling brings the outside in, creating a seamless experience between interior and exterior living space.

It is minutes to the pool or North Kaanapali beach. A beach boardwalk takes you by other resort complexes with their own unique poolside restaurants. The boardwalk extends all the way to the Sheraton at Black Rock. A shopping center is within walking distance and includes an excellent supermarket, restaurants, video rentals, dive & snorkel rentals.
