Njut av att tillbringa din ösemester på The Lost Lobster, som ligger precis innanför portarna i Cavendish Beach-delen av nationalparken - den mest populära semestern på norra stranden, och gångavstånd till en av de vackraste vita sandstränderna i värld.

The Lost Lobster är ett helt nytt, vackert fritidshus som ligger inbäddat bland träden - inte långt där besökarna kommer in i parken. Byggandet är nästan slutfört och kommer att möbleras i mitten av maj. Tidpunkten kunde inte vara bättre att boka din ö-resa!

Detta fantastiska, öppna fritidshus erbjuder sova för 10 i tre sovrum som är separerade från huvudytan med en solfylld vindsö. Det ljusa vardagsrummet och köksområdena har ett 16ft välvt tak, Smart TV, utdragbar soffa för extra sovplats och en promenad till ett täckt däck med utsikt över en privat trebotten. Det välutrustade köket har allt du kan behöva plus sittplatser för 3 på köksön. Omgivet av fönster har matbordet plats för 8.

Gå igenom den soliga vindrutan in i sovrummet där du hittar 3 stora sovrum. Det stora sovrummet har en king size-säng och ett eget badrum med en duschkabin i glas. Det andra sovrummet har också en king size-säng, medan det tredje sovrummet har en queen size-säng och en våningssäng bestående av 2 drottningar.

Njut av lite kvalitetstid med familj och vänner på det stora täckta däck, eller träna ditt putspel på den 15ft konstgjorda puttinggreen. Ta en lugn promenad ner på gångvägen till Cavendish Beach - lätt att göra när fastigheten backar mot nationalparken! Du kan till och med promenera till lokala Cavendish-restauranger, gå på glass, golf eller turnera Anne of Green Gables-attraktionen - allt utan att använda en bil. Shopping, attraktioner, vattenparker och färsk fisk och skaldjur är bokstavligen bara några minuter bort!

För golfare i gruppen finns några av PEI: s främsta banor i närheten: Green Gables, Eagles Glenn, Andersons Creek och Glasgow Hills.

This property has an excellent location, just a short walk to a beautiful beach. The house has a lot of amenities to make sure you have everything you need during your stay. It was very clean.

Excellent, did not disappoint

We were pleasantly surprised with the property as often online images and descriptions are better than the actual physical property. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would definitely consider this location again in the future. We were 6 adults and 4 children. It was very comfortable sleep arrangements for all. The bunk beds easily slept 2 children on each level. The grandchildren had a blast inside and especially playing on the expansive deck. The yard was fantastic for these young ones all under 6 yrs to play safely on their own.

A great home away from home

What a perfect location in Cavendish, surrounded by National Park, birds and rabbits your only neighbors. We walked to the Cavendish beach on a path at the end of the drive. Biggest compliment - the owners have stocked this vacation home with every possible thing you could need while visiting. The kitchen had small appliances, a pie pan, grill tools, kids plates & silverware, spices, picnic supplies, apron, etc. The beds were comfortable, pillows plentiful. The bedrooms had lots of hangers in the closets and storage drawers. The only thing missing was a DVD player (we wanted to watch Anne of Green Gables!)

Peaceful nature

Great Stay in Cavendish

We had a great stay at Dean's place in Cavendish. The property was extremely clean and well equipped with all of the essentials and more. A great property for families with small children and perfect location in proximity to the beach. We would definitely stay again.

Amazing vacation rental

The lost lobster is an amazing rental, very private yet steps away from anything you would want to do. I was super impressed with how well equipped the house is. Anything you would need from preparing a meal to going to the beach is there ready to use. We will definite be returning 😊

First time on East Coast ~ Great spot to meet up with family fro UK

Bit of an unexpected surprise upon or arrival, and things weren’t quite ready for the five of us! One call and Dean and team went over and above to correct the situation and get all sorted in an prompt and very efficient manner. My husband and I (West coasters) met family from the UK for a relaxing week (Sept 1-8th) on PEI. Beautiful spot, house well equipped. (Except lobster cracker ~ we had to improvise 😜) Comfy beds and tons of room for all. Great area to walk and we found bike rentals just up road. Experienced Hurricane Dorian or last night which was quite the experience. Loved how close Cavendish was to house ..... such a relaxing, fun stay! Recommendations/Suggestions: Dimmer switch in kitchen area would be great addition! Oh and lobster cracker - how can the Lost Lobster not have a cracker? As we lost power final evening, although there was a great LED flashlight, a few lantern would have been great to have. All in all, we enjoyed our stay on PEI and definitely would recommend the Lost Lobster!

Comfortable family stay!

The property was ready the moment we arrived. Everything was in great order and the management team even had a selection of local coffee and teas waiting for us. The house is very clean, filled with light, beautifully furnished, and had enough cutlery and tableware to feed an army. If you're interested in a family-friendly stay, I noticed many amenities that cater to families with children, including a highchair, pack and play, games, beach toys, lawn chairs, even a putt-putt hole in the front yard. The rooms were adequate for our family and the beds were divine! Everyone remarked that they slept very well. If you like being right in the center of Cavendish in the high season, it was a perfect location with Green Gables, the beach, and many amusement parks just down the road. For us, we prefer a more quiet and laid-back sort of vacation and the house allowed that in October when most of the area is shut down for the season. It's just a quick jaunt down the road to North Rustico for a grocery market, gas station, and a coffee place! I had some concerns before our stay about Dorian and the damage to the island which were alleviated after a discussion with Dean. I found what he said to be true, that most of the damage affected the national parks and while there were some trees down intermittently throughout the island, it remained largely unharmed. During our stay I had a few questions about the dishwasher and the wireless internet that were quickly addressed. There were a couple things that I found the kitchen did not stock, like a cheese grater or a potato masher, however, I’m willing to put that down to differences in local cuisine. I’m from Southern California and perhaps tacos are not a main staple of the Canadian diet. :) We also noticed that boiled potatoes seemed to be the order of the day at the restaurants in town, versus the mashed potatoes that we are more familiar with. Everything else seemed to be in good supply. The pots and pans of good quality and ample enough for a family meal. If I had a note to give, I would say that perhaps new kitchen dishcloths and kitchen towels could be purchased as the current ones seemed to have a certain odor (American spelling) even after a good washing. All in all, a very pleasant stay. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone looking for a home away from home. We hope we will have another opportunity to visit again. Thanks to all who made our visit to PEI a special one!

Trail access almost out the front door but cottage is still very private. Spacious cottage with excellent layout.

Great location with tons of amenities!

Enjoyed 4 nights at the Lost Lobster, a brand new construction. The location is as described, very close to all the cavendish attractions and beach. We appreciated all the extras such as folding chairs, outdoor games, beach towels, board games, laundry detergent, cooking spices and samples of local coffee just to name a few. The kitchen is very well stocked, all brand new appliances, utensils and cookware etc. Our group also found the beds quite comfortable. The cottage also comes with one complimentary National Park Pass which was much appreciated. We only wish the back of the bedroom doors had hooks for towels.

Lovely stay at a modern and charming retreat near Cavendish beach. Loved our stay - until next time!

We stayed at this newly built and beautifully decorated home during a recent trip to PEI. What a gem... a gorgeous home with everything needed to retreat in an airconditioned space, equipped with everything we needed and quiet and extremely comfortable sleeping arrangements. Our kids were well entertained and we were able to bike back and forth to the beach, local restaurants and other fun amenities. We will plan to return in the coming years, as this is a repeat vacation! Thanks Lost Lobster - until next time!
