Barranca 21 är en villahyra som inte kan överensstämmas med andra fastigheter på Casa de Campo. Denna villa är en herrgård på 16 800 kvadratmeter som måste upplevas för att verkligen uppskattas.

Barranca 21 ligger på det tredje hålet på Links golfbana och erbjuder en spektakulär utsikt över hela semesterorten Casa de Campo med 180 graders utsikt över Karibiska havet med en fri utsikt över spektakulära solnedgångar varje kväll. Great House!

Our extended family of 15 stayed there over New Years 2011-2012. The house was magnificent. Very spacious. Large bedrooms. Tremendous pool. Nice view of the ocean. A wonderful staff.

A wonderful experience

The house is beautiful, spacious and very clean. The location is excellent; an fun and easy golf cart ride from all that Casa de Campo has to offer. The pool and hot tub are great to come back to after a day out and about. By far the best part of the house, though, is the staff. They were all so kind and accommodating and we didn’t want for a thing the entire week. The food was amazing and the house was always stocked with snacks and drinks. We will definitely be back!

Baranca 21 Stay 2 Years In a Row

We stayed at Baranca 21for 2 years in a row and absolutely loved it! Kathleen was extremely responsive to email and in the overall planning of our trips (total 8 guys all golfers). We were provided with amazing staff that exceeded our expectations. Francisco was the best! The food was exceptional and the home was stunning! The golf in the resort is amazing! We returned to this fabulous home for a second time based on our first unforgettable trip. We will be back again as it is truly hard to beat finding this anywhere else.

Happy golf group

This was Year 6 for our group from Ohio and everything was just as good or better than in past years. The house with the pool and ocean views is obviously fantastic. But what makes the trip is the attention the staff and owners provide. With Dave and Kathleen taking care of all the details before we arrive and during and the staff taking care of everything we need from great meals and drinks to arranging massages, it's the perfect place to relax and have fun. Our stay here makes 5-star resorts seem very average; everything here is better than that. We loved it and we'll be back. Thank you.

absolutely perfect!

I brought 12 guys to Barranca 21 for our annual golf outing, and this location, home, and service were amazing! Kathleen was great to deal with, helped me with every conceivable detail for set up, and the staff at the house could not have been more skilled or pleasant. the house is enormous, beautiful, very comfortable, and perfect. we chose to have all meals at the house, and I'm very happy we did! from steak and lobster one night, to a pig roast another, each meal was superb. I wanted for nothing and I want to extend a big thank you to Kathleen and the staff. golf was amazing! we'll definitely be back to visit!

Golf group

Hard to believe it could be better than last year but it was. This was our 3d year at the villa with a group of golfers and everything went perfectly. We ate nearly every meal at the villa and each meal was extremely well prepared. All the staff took great care of us in making sure we had everything we needed whether it was food or drink. The owners made sure everything was coordinated from golf tee times, to massage therapists, to shuttle service to the airport and everything else that could be required. We are already looking at dates for next year.

Absolutely Perfect!

We've been visiting Casa De Campo several times a year for the last 15 years. We've stayed in Villas and we've stayed in the hotel (both pre and post renovation). Without a doubt, our last stay was our favorite and that's because we stayed at this property. Kathleen made sure everything was perfect prior to our arrival. The house is obviously over-the-top beautiful and luxurious. But it's the staff that made the trip. Kathleen really got the staff right at this house. The Chef is amazing, the service was top notch, and everything was sparkling clean. If you are looking for a place to REALLY relax, you've found it!!

Fabulous Vacation With Friends

We visited this home with 10 friends (12 guests total) for an adults-only vacation getaway. The home was truly fabulous, with furnishings that can't quite be captured in the photos. The outdoor living space and views are phenomenal, and the house provided fabulous space for the group to be together, as well as for guests to find seclusion when desired. The beauty of the home and surrounding areas were fabulous, but the staff in the home made everything truly beyond our expectations. Antonio and team catered to our every desire, and Sonia's cooking was outstanding - each meal was better than the one before. The owners, Kathleen and David, were helpful both in planning our visit and coordinating activities once we were onsite. We can't wait to return!!!

Perfect again!

Year 9 for our golf group. This year was our largest group with 12 and the villa had plenty of room for all of us. The new 9th bedroom was a great addition. Great golf at now reduced rates, great meal planning and preparation by the staff, a villa manager (Francisco) and concierge (Wilber who was new this year) who were attentive to our every need and just overall great attention to everything. There really is no need to go to any restaurants even if they are good. All the food and beverages were prepared and served so well that we really didn't see the need to go anywhere. We unfortunately had a medical issue come up this year and Wilber took our friend to the local clinic and all went well. We wouldn't have had a clue on what to do and even this situation was perfectly addressed. I have said this in prior reviews but what Kathleen and Dave offer here is better than any 5-star resort I have ever stayed in. Next year will be the 10th anniversary for us and we can't wait. Thank you, Kathleen and Dave.

Very happy golf group

This was our 4th year staying at the villa and each year I think everything is better than before. I've put golf vacations together for various friends and clients at many places over the last 20 years, many of which are 5-star rated, and they can't hold a candle to what Kathleen and Dave offer here. Can you say 6 stars? Besides the great golf courses and the great resort, what makes this villa so special is the great experience that Kathleen, Dave and the staff provide. Antonio the manager pays great attention to make sure every detail is in place, brings food and drink to us while we're relaxing by the pool or hot tub, calls to arrange massages, and many other things. Sonia the cook is nothing short of fantastic. It doesn't matter what we order - it comes out better than what I've eaten at most highly-rated restaurants. This year's special touch - a pig roast right in the back yard. Kathleen and Dave make sure we have tee times, get transportation to and from the airport set up, arrange tours to the local cigar factory and are really great to work with. Spectacular. We're already talking about next year's excursion to this very special place. Thanks for a great weekend.

Luxurious and Comfortable!

We rented a villa last year at CDC and had a horrible experience. The house itself was absolutely beautiful, but let me tell you the staff that is included in the cost of your rental will absolutely make or break your vacation!! We were so frustrated by the amount of direction and constant follow up that was needed to manage the staff, that we finally gave up and did everything ourselves. I left feeling taken advantage of, frustrated and angry. Not the way you want to return from a vacation! Well, I can tell you that the experience was very, very different this year!! Kathleen and David truly took care of every detail, followed up on all our requests, and truly acted as our concierges! The staff is amazing! English speaking, friendly and happy to be there to ensure that you and your guests have a fantastic time. Antonio, the house manager is a true gem and Sonja, the cook, was absolutely superb. I highly suggest making good use of their provisioning services and planning meals before you arrive. You will not need to lift a finger or think about anything except remembering sunscreen after your arrival! We only ate 2 meals in 10 days away from the villa because the food and especially the service is far, far, far better than any restaurant that you will find at the resort! I think most villas at CDC are beautiful, but the fact that Antonio and Sonja work directly for Kathleen and David makes ALL the difference in the world! We will return to CDC but ONLY in villas owned/managed by Kathleen and David!

Group of 20

Barranca 21 is an awesome home for big groups. We were a group of 20 and everyone had their own space if they needed it and there are huge areas where we could all spend time together. The house really was even nicer than what I had seen in the photos. Everything was clean and organized. There were a couple of issues with the a/c and the breakers so some of the bedroom a/c's would turn off from time to time but Antonio was always there to take care of it right away. The staff is amazing. All the girls that work in the house were always ready and willing to help you in any way, The cook, Sonia, always had a smile on her face and was willing to make any changes or additions we asked for. The meals were excellent and we all ate together at a big table. There is really no reason to eat out of the house because the meals at home were better than in the restaurants. Antonio was awesome. He was always available and never said no to any request. He was always happy to help and did so even if he had questions coming from 10 people at once. The rooms were all comfortable and spacious. Wasn't too convinced about the outdoor showers in some of the bedrooms but it turned out to be just part of the experience. The owner of the villa was always available to answer any questions. Casa de Campo is a great place to vacation with big groups. There is a lot to do on site and also in surrounding areas. I'm not sure I would go again in June b/c the resort was pretty empty. Some of us preferred it that way but others would've liked a bit more of a social scene. Overall, it was a great trip with friends. I think everyone enjoyed it.

Awesome House with an Excellent Staff

I visited Casa de Campo last week and was with a group of 8 couples at Barranca 21 for 4 nights/5 days. We had a blast! The house is phenomenal, with an excellent layout for relaxing, hanging by the pool, having lunch or anything else if you are looking for a relaxing vacation. The pool is beautiful with a Jacuzzi and built in bar, where our house manager, Francisco, was bringing us drinks and snacks during the day. The staff that the owner has in place is excellent - they new how to take care of us and basically got us whatever we wanted; they were very nice and we befriended them while there. One day, Francisco, even took us into La Romana, with one of his friends in his own car, to do some shopping. The cook made some excellent meals (awesome breakfasts every morning, filets, fish, chicken, salads, fruit, etc.) and there was always something to eat or drink, always clean plates and glasses to the extent that we wanted to make ourselves something when the staff wasn't there. It was like staying in a hotel, but being in a private home - daily room cleaning and fresh towels, the staff cleaned up after us every day, food/drink whenever we wanted it, and the comfort of being is a private home with friends. We had 16 people so we rented 4 golf carts, which was great as there is a fair amount to do in Casa De Campo: we went down to the Marina a couple nights, dined at the resort's restaurant one night, some went horseback riding, some went skeet shooting, and there is much more to do. The only thing I would point out is that the two bedrooms downstairs are bit less extravagant than those on the first and second floors (in the pics, its the room with the blue bedding and the room with two double beds with white bedding - as opposed to being like suites similar to all the other rooms, they are more like typical hotel rooms, but fine nonetheless). These two rooms are downstairs on the sides of the family room, where the pool table is. One of the rooms (the one with white bedding) is a bit nicer than the other and opens up to the back yard with a patio and small seating area. Although these rooms are smaller than the 6 rooms upstairs, they are much more private and nice when you want some peace and quiet. All in all, the vacation was phenomenal and would highly recommend it. By the way, the coffee the staff makes every morning is one of the best I've had and they give you hot steamed milk - more like a latte than coffe!!

Best Staff on the Planet

The house is amazing and clearly lives up to all of the photographs provided, but that is on the bottom of the list of things that are great about this house. The staff of this house is absolutely amazing and will put any of your concerns at ease immediately. Marie was such a fantastic contact and made sure absolutely everything was lined up prior to our arrival, from check-in, to food and beverage, tee times, whatever you could possibly want. Julio, what else can I say about the guy other than he is just the absolute best in the business. Any problem that comes up, bang it's taken care of. Need something from the store, bang it's there before you can finish your sentence. Some need medical assistance, he's got them all fixed up and back enjoying their vacation within the hour. Frank was always there to get you a drink or some food and always with a big smile on his face. The food was absolutely amazing, and staff worked tirelessly to assist in making your every request a reality. Can't thank you all enough, and we will certainly be back!!!

AMAZING!!!

We have traveled many places in our lifetime but this experience was by far the most AMAZING!! We celebrated a monumental event with 21 guests. The accommodations, atmosphere and amenities were superb. The staff was utmost hospitable and the service exceptional. Loved the food, the massages were excellent and our boat excursion so memorable!! We cannot thank Marie and Julio enough for their professionalism and generosity!!! They definitely helped make our trip so smooth and relaxing... absolutely something we will always cherish.

Perfect Stay at Barranca 21

Everything about our entire stay at Barranca 21 was perfect. The booking process was a breeze and Kathleen/David coordinated all activities/transfers for us (golf, dinner reservations, meals/menu etc.). The staff at the house is top notch, Julio was an amazing resource to make anything you need happen. Julio would meet us or lead us to wherever we needed to go to ensure we would not get lost on the resort. He was even there to check us in at 5am! Francisco did a phenomenal job running the house and provided unbelievable service. George was great and helped us immensely in the evenings. The cook and maid staff were also phenomenal. We are already planning our return trip in 2019 and will definitely be staying at Barranca 21.

Amazing experience from start to finish

If you're considering a Casa de Campo vacation, I can't recommend Barranca 21 enough. Kathleen was such a gracious host and handled all our reservations and planning needs up front so that when we arrived it was all done and stress-free. The accomodations were first class, as was the staff's professionalism and service. The food and beverage plan is a great option too! We're hopeful to be able to go back and experience it all over again.

The property is as good, if not better, than the pictures. We were a group of 20 and still had room to spare. Everything was top knotch. The staff was far and beyond the best part of the package. They were professional and exceeded all of our requests and expectations. Cant't wait to go back.

Wonderful!!!

We were a group of five couples from NY who travel together every year. This is a great house in a very convenient location with a terrific and friendly staff (Especially Francisco and Wilbur - who speaks perfect english). The concierge service offered by Kathleen is above and beyond what we had expected and we took full advantage of it: Golf (at reduced rates); meal planning by the cook; an on-site pig roast; restaurant reservations - (one night she actually made sure we got a specific waiter who took great care of us); purchasing of food and drink before our trip and when we need replenishment of each. The house itself has 6 bedrooms that vary from very nice to palatial. Not only do the bedrooms get cleaned daily, but also, each day the staff does laundry left in each dressing room hamper. We looked at a lot of houses before selecting Barranca 21 and what did it for us was the service, the generous living spaces with covered verandas, the fact that there were enough very-good to great bedrooms for our group and frankly, all of that at a reasonable price. The experience really could not have been any better. Thank you Kathleen and Dave!!!

Amazing House + Amazing Staff=Amazing Vacation

We were a group of 14, seven couples. Our stay was amazing. Francisco, Dulce and the staff were amazing. Food was fantastic, it absolutely equalled any restaurant that we went to and I'm from New Orleans! I'd recommend the steak and lobster night and the China Box roast pig as a minimum for your stay. The added cost for the food was more than fair. The staff all did an excellent job in trying to anticipate our every need. The only thing that I would take just a portion of one star away for was that some of the furnishings we getting a little threadbare and the golf carts, which are a necessity at Casa de Campo, were not in good shape. However, our stay was in the off season and I am sure that the number of people using the house can be the cause of these things. These are very small things and didn't affect our overall stay. Many of the couples planned to use the house again in future stays

Great trip

We had a great time. 8 golfers. Francisco and the team were excellent. Food was fantastic. The whole place was great and exceeded expectations
