Best girls trip

Everything about this property is perfect for family trip friends trip and a romantic getaway with you spouse / partner. It is close to the beach and old baytown, so much to so and plenty of stores to choosebfrom for all your needs.I have stayed here twice alredy and will definitely be back as often as i can.

We came to Bay Haven to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary, with a mix of family time and alone time, and had a fantastic stay! Beautiful house - Loved the pool and the proximity to everything. Thank you for a memorable stay!

The property was clean, well stocked with the basics, and comfortable.

The open concept living/kitchen/dining was perfect for the 6 of us staying on the property and 3 others who live in town but came to visit. The outdoor living space was private and again well appointed for outdoor living. Unfortunately it was too cool to use the pool. We would rent Bay Haven again.

My family enjoyed our stay at Bay Haven. The pictures dont do it justice. The check in process was excellent, so smooth. Hostess Julie was so sweet and accomodating!. Every little detail was catered to, from the welcome badket of goodies to the beautiful outdoor kitchen and pool! Beds were very comfortable and house was beautifully furnished. Daughter had to work a couple of days, and office was perfect. Will definitely stay here again! Thsnks for sharing your lovely home with us!

Nice home. Plenty of room.

Home and pool was very nice. We had lots of room for everyone. Home is located in a quiet, nice neighborhood. Note: We expected the traffic traveling there to be busier but it wasn't and we ended up arriving an hour early. We were not able to access the home. I contacted Tanya and she tried contacting the homeowner. We had to find somewhere else to go for an hour. Car loaded with all of our luggage and incidentals. Tanya finally contacted me at 3:16 PM to let me know we could now access the home. Also, on the morning we were due to leave the air conditioner thermostat set itself to 76 degrees at midnight. We all woke up sweating because it was so hot.

Long Weekend

We chose this property for the backyard. The set up great and having a pool was what we wanted due to the extreme heat. The backyard and the house had everything we wanted. However, the house AC itself could not keep up with the heat. The AC would be set at 70 degrees in the morning and by noon would climb to 75 degrees and not come back down till sometime during the night. This made getting dressed in the evening for dinner or cooking in the kitchen very uncomfortable to see the least. When I reported this to the property manager she scolded me for having the AC set on 69 degrees. She did have the owner call but the only offer the owner made was to come by and check it as if to say what I was saying was not true. There was never an offer to send a tech, send fans or send additional portable AC units. I was advised with the extreme heat there was nothing they would do. I believe the AC unit at this home isn't big enough to service this house. Beware!

Great House but Bad Communication by Owner

3.5 stars. Like the other reviews, we found this home to be very comfortable, spacious and a good location. We took off 1.5 stars because of our experience with the heated pool and bike “amenities” in the listing. While the owners specifically ask for five star reviews and promise to be responsive to any issues, that was the exact opposite of our experience. At both the time of our booking and our stay, the listing had “heated pool” as an amenity and no language about requesting the pool be heated and paying a fee (as it does now). If that language had been there, we would have gladly made the request and paid the fee - after all the heated pool was a main reason we chose this house. Having a cold (and not very clean) pool really put a damper on our stay, especially for our kids. We reached out to the owner twice about the pool - on our 1st full day and again on our 3rd day (2nd day was too cold to be in pool.) The first text was met with silence. Never acknowledged or addressed. The second text told us we had to request the pool be heated and pay for it. When we pointed out that the listing did not say anything about the request and fee requirements, we got ZERO response. No apology. No thank you for pointing out the misleading listing. Nothing. We are glad to see they’ve amended their listing due to this issue but it would have been nice for the owner to try to remedy the situation or at least respond to us. In addition, the listing says to request bikes which implies the house has them available. Instead, when we made the request the owner merely sent a link to rent bikes in town. That makes bikes an amenity of the town and not part of the house.

Annual Ladies Trip

The home was extremely clean. The kitchen was excellent! It had everything we needed. All of the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and stocked. The pool was perfect. No issues. There is a camera out back by the pool area. We were not aware of it when we booked the home. I asked about it and was told that it is not used when guests are present.

Great house

The house is much larger than the pictures show. The pool and outdoor area are perfect. Loved the little outdoor shower after being in the pool. The property manager was extremely nice and responded to our few minor issues immediately.

Family vacation

We stayed for the week. House was great and met all of our needs. Just as good, if not better than the pics, which is surprising in a good way. We wish beach was closer. It was a hot time of year and distance not the easiest walk for lugging beach gear, cooler etc. We ended up driving to beach instead. That didn’t impact our fun though. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Annual Summer Beach Trip

My family and I have been going to Bay St. Louis every summer for the last 10+ years. We love the area and all it has to offer. Our stay at Bay Haven was everything we wanted and more. The pool was a huge bonus, especially given how hot it was outside and how much time we chose to spend at the house. I honestly can't think of anything that was lacking - the kitchen was fully stocked, outdoor grill area was wonderful, and the neighborhood was so quiet. We will definitely be back!

Wow! This is an AMAZING property! I bought it because I saw the potential in it. At first I was only going to do paint & flooring. Then I had a local artist involved & the project turned into a complete rehab! EVERYTHING in the house was replaced with the nicest quality furnishings that I could afford. Its very unique because most of the items in the house were bought in New Orleans antique stores & local artists. There is an New Orleans theme in the living room. Also we made the outdoors very inviting with colorful accent pieces & lighting. It has an 4' pool with a fountain & outdoor kitchen. Perfect for outdoor entertaining!
