Overall experience at the Lake Lonely house was excellent! Our family of 9 was very comfortable in the house and had plenty of space to sleep, relax, cook, and dine. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the screened in porch with views of the lake was our favorite room to hang out in. Most of our time was spent down at the lake, which was absolutely beautiful. We brought our 13â Boston Whaler and docked it at the property for the week. We were in the water daily either boating, swimming, fishing, kayaking or paddle boarding. The water was crystal clear and the perfect temperature. The only downside was the size of the dock and the lack of seating. It definitely needs some updating. Be prepared for a somewhat challenging walk down to the water. It requires good mobility to navigate the steep hill from the house and then 49 steep steps down to the dock.The town of Saratoga Springs is charming and there is so much to do! Lots of shopping, great restaurants and the race course all within 15 minutes from the house. We took our 3 dogs on daily walks in Saratoga Spa State Park and highly recommend visiting. Will and Katie are great hosts and very responsive. We would definitely recommend this property and there is a very good chance we will return.
