VÀlkommen till Glacier Lilac Lodge ~ en bekvÀm 2200 kvadratmeter, 3 sovrum, 2 badrum hemma, belÀget i Hungry Horse. Hemmet ligger i ett trÀdbevuxet, privat, lugnt omrÄde.

Min Montana-familj har varit i turistbranschen i mÄnga Är och har flera semesterbostÀder i omrÄdet. För en 3 bÀddar / 2 badrum hemma, leta inte lÀngre Àn Glacier Lilac Lodge. Detta split level hem har sex steg upp till köket, matsalen, vardagsrummet och sovrummet och badkaret. Golven har alla uppdaterats med faux trÀlaminat. Det stora sovrummet har en ny Sealy Posturepedic king size-sÀng för en god natts vila. Ett komplett bad Àr precis utanför din sovrumsdörr. FrÄn ytterdörren ingÄngen, gÄ ner för dina tvÄ sovrum med drottning sÀngar pÄ Montana gjorde timmerramar. Ett komplett badrum ligger i nÀrheten. Det finns ett fritidsrum med TV och massor av spel. Om du har tonÄringar eller par Àr det trevligt eftersom du alla har ditt eget utrymme! TvÀttmaskin / torktumlare och tvÀttstÀll finns i bottenvÄningen.

PÄ övervÄningen har luftkonditionering som hÄller hemmet svalt under varma dagar (som det inte rÀcker med!) och den nedre spaken förblir sval pÄ egen hand.

Omgivningen Àr vÀnlig och tyst. Drick ditt morgonkaffe pÄ din balkong. Vackra Flathead River ligger i nÀrheten dÀr du enkelt kan gÄ till eller köra; du kan kasta in en fiskelinje och fÄ lite middag! BBQ pÄ ditt dÀck och njut. Din utsikt över det vackra Columbia Mountain och skogen, men du Àr bekvÀmt belÀget.

Det finns bra celltjÀnst och internet. PÄ kvÀllarna kan du slÄ tillbaka och titta pÄ en film pÄ din 50 "stora TV-skÀrm. Netflix och ett urval av DVD-filmer finns.

Glacier International Airport (FCA) ligger bara 20 kilometer frÄn hemmet. Det finns en mataffÀr i Hungry Horse dÀr du kan köpa dina matvaror; större butiker 7 miles bort i Columbia Falls; Costco och Wall Mart ligger 30 kilometer bort i Kalispell. Det finns restauranger och bensinstationer i stan och pÄ vÀg till parken eller förbered dina egna lÀckra mÄltider vid din lugna retrÀtt i ditt eget kök.

We had a great stay. Nancy was very helpful both before and during our trip. The house is older but in excellent condition. Very clean, very comfortable, very private on it's own large partially fenced lot. We were glad to have the excellent AC when the temps outside hit over 90. The house is about 10 miles from Glacier National Park, making it easy to drive in every day. Hungry Horse is a cute small town, with larger towns (and grocery stores) nearby. We'd definitely want to stay here again if we return to Glacier.

Home away from Home near Glacier National Park

This home was the best of both worlds - close enough to Columbia Falls and Whitefish to go out on the town and close enough to Glacier National Park to be able to spend the day exploring and retreat back to a comfortable bed at the end of the day.

Wonderful Quiet Place to Relax

Very quiet neighborhood. Easy to get to and easy to check-in. Large house to accommodate all of our grown adult family. Favorite part was the deck to relax on each day after hiking in Glacier National Park.

Relaxing in the Rockies

Great place to kick back and relax after a long day of touring the park. Our expectations were met and exceeded. The deck was a perfect blend of sunshine and shade with lots of humming birds. Our host was wonderful and took care of all our needs. It was a nice surprise to find she was a home girl from our home state.

Great stay close to Glacier!

Our group of 6 had a great stay at Nancy's home close to the west entrance of Glacier National Park. It had plenty of space and everything we needed for our 3-night stay. The proximity of the house to the park was great and we would definitely recommend it and stay again!

Spacious and convenience

We enjoyed this property very much! It was clean and spacious allowing us to spread out - and plenty of seating in the living room areas for when we were together. The deck was very inviting - just wish we would have had more time to enjoy it. We had our days packed with activities and weren't returning to the house until late each evening. The house was stocked with everything we could need for meal prep and comfort. Location, of course, is everything, and unless you're staying inside Glacier NP, it would be difficult to find a property closer. I corresponded with the property owner several times and received timely and friendly responses. If the opportunity presented itself, I would look for availability at this property again.

Lovely home; perfect location!

Nancy’s home was very warm and welcoming! There was plenty of space for our 5-adult family. She provided all the essentials that we needed to cook meals after a long day of hiking, just as if we were at our own home. The back deck was lovely for eating breakfast and dinner. The home’s location was very close and convenient to the West Glacier entrance of the park. We enjoyed our time there!

Big Sky amazing stay

The location was convenient from Kalispell airport, a grocery stop in Columbia Falls and a beautiful 15 minute drive to the park entrance. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. It was our second stay in this home, which speaks to our satisfaction!

Perfect get a way for the West side of Glacier.

Excellent accomodations and easy check in and out. The patio is a great place to enjoy with the hummingbirds flying around us. Nancy has great spices, coffee and soaps. Close to West Glacier, 10 minutes. 2 Mediicines was an hour away. Hungry horse Dam was amazing. Thanks so much!!
