Spektakulära Lake Michigan Waterfront på Glidden Drive - 12 sovplatser

Detta är ett underbart 4200 sf hem med 4 sovrum (två mästare på bottenvåningen!) och 3. 5 badrum med en stor uteplats med utsikt över halvön östra stranden, direkt på Lake Michigan. Perfekt för fyra par, eller flera / utökade familjer - detta hem rymmer enkelt och bekvämt 8-12 gäster. Det rymliga, bekväma familjerummet i detta hem erbjuder en vedeldad spis och en 60 platt-TV med kabel. Både WiFi och stereo-surround för IPad / IPod-anslutningar tillhandahålls för att njuta av musik. På bottenvåningen finns två master sviter, båda erbjuder en king size-säng, och alla har ett privat bifogat badkar. Båda master sviterna har sin egen uppsättning uteplatsdörrar som leder din utsida för att njuta av de spektakulära ljuden av vågor som träffar stranden. Dessa sviter har också egna gaseldspisar. Den största av de två mästarna på bottenvåningen benämns Lodge Suite, nyligen renoverad, inklusive en våt bar, ett privat vardagsrum och ett fyra säsongsrum. På övervåningen har du ytterligare två mycket rymliga sovrum - även med king size-sängar - som delar ett badrum. Vart och ett av dessa sovrum har altandörrar som leder till en balkong för njutning av friluftslivet. Båda sovrummen p�� övervåningen har utdragbara soffor i full storlek för ytterligare gäster. Det generöst stora, nyrenoverade (2019) välutrustade köket har ett kommersiellt sortiment / ugn, mikrovågsugn och skafferi för lagring. Rum för matsal inkluderar ett bord med 8 platser, en köksö med plats för 4 och en bar med plats för ytterligare 5 gäster. Den stora uteplatsen vid sjön har utrymme för middagar och solstolar, upplever anmärkningsvärda soluppgångar, en eldstad för kvällar och ständigt föränderliga utsikt över sjön. Tillgång till stranden finns bara några minuters promenad nerför Glidden Drive där du kan komma åt sand och bad. Sängkläder och handdukar ingår samt många andra bekvämligheter. Shoulder Seasons / Off-Season är ett fast minimum på 3 nätter och Prime Summer är ett minimum av 7 nätter för detta hem - måndag till måndag.

Anniversary Trip

We have been to Door Co many times and found that this property that is on Lake Michigan had absolutely beautiful views of Lake Michigan. The property was very clean and setup for our needs over a one week stay including plenty of wood to burn outside via a Solo Stove. The location also provided us quiet roads to ride our bikes and quiet walks.

Anniversary trip

We had a great stay. The kitchen is well stocked and excellent for home cooking. House is very comfortable. Access to the concrete pad needs to be maintained as grass is very high. Would recommend this property as property manager was excellent and response to issue with TV was very prompt.

Spectacular home in gorgeous location

We had a beautiful 10 person family reunion. There was nothing that wasn't perfect. We were all very sad to leave. Kris was a delight. Loved it.

Lots of space for everyone

The decor is a little odd, but the space is very comfortable. Great kitchen for cooking with a crowd. Big dining room table. Incredible view and the sound of waves makes it very relaxing. The beach is about a ten minute walk (if you have kids in tow) and is small but not busy. 4 king beds are very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Great place for a Door County getaway!

Four couples stayed here over a long weekend. It's perfect for such a trip. Each bedroom has a king bed, so you don't need to worry about which couple gets what room. The patio on the lake is magnificent. We spent each evening with a fire and each morning looking at the sunrise. We will be back!

Ladies Weekend

We had the perfect ladies weekend at this gorgeous house! The location on the lake is stunning, and the home is so much more stunning in person. We had plenty of space to spread out in the massive bedrooms and living areas. We would definitely return here!

The Best House to Enjoy Door County

I wasn't sure that the property could live up to the pictures. It did and so much more. For a family, there are lots of gathering places, inside and out. All of the rooms are updated and huge. More amenities than we've ever had in a VRBO. So many things that we bring in a tub, were already provided. Kris was excellent in communicating! The views are head-shaking! 10/10!

Large home, stunning view

Arrangement was not quite what was pictured in the photographs. Plenty of room for everyone ,large enough refrigerator for all meals to be home cooked. Lots of extras. Had a large enough water heater we could run the dishwasher, washing machine and take showers all at the same time.

Vaca 2019

We enjoyed family time in this clean, spacious home with lovely lake views in a quiet setting. If you’re looking to relax on your getaway, this is a nice home to do just that. We took a couple bike rides in this very residential area of Door County. Even though this home sits right on Lake Michigan, the lake is not very accessible here due to rough waters on the rocky coast. We were hoping to use the “swimming hole” often, but it’s an At Your Own Risk situation, not for small children. Looks like this niche was created and used to harbor boats. Visiting nearby towns for activities and dining definitely requires a car.

A beautiful property

The house is beautiful. Beautiful kitchen to cook in, lots of storage for food and good assortment of spices. No ice maker! The beds were comfortable. Not enough washcloths for all of us. The gas grill was FILTHY, but after cleaning was fine. The directions for garbage pickup are ambiguous/contradictory/wrong? but we managed, I guess. (Left everything in the garage) There are some steps to living room and bedroom and patio areas without railings. The house was clean and comfortable and th view of the water was unbelievable! Would definitely return - one of the BEST things (and reason we rented in the first place) was the four KING beds. With 4 couples (us and our 3 daughters /husbands) it is very hard to find that. Queen beds don't work! Would definitely return here if we get the chance. Jane

While the home was not quite ready for summer, with a few tweaks we were living comfortably. Gorgeous week of perfect weather and stunning views. Lots of room and very well appointed. 50' out the back to the water. 1000' to beaches.

Family Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property on Glidden drive. There was room for all of us to be together, as well a rooms to have time alone. The view from the house was spectacular, as the waves were crashing in on the rocks. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked. Overall our best vacation as a family in Door County

Wonderful place to stay!

A group of 8 of us stayed recently at the Lake House on Glidden. The accommodations are superb! Plenty of room for 4 couples. (With room for more!) We enjoyed the beautiful inside of this property and the awesome patio/firepit/lakeside right out the door. Everything went so well from the booking, the communication prior to our stay, the responsiveness of owner when we reached out to her, the cleanliness and comfortable, spacious living space. Highly recommend the Lake House on Glidden!

An Unforgettable Week

My family came together at this lake house to celebrate two milestone birthdays, a milestone wedding anniversary, an elopement, and the first time we'd all been together in many years! The house was the perfect setting for our trip - lots of spaces for gathering & spending time together and plenty of room for alone time, when needed. We could have happily stayed at the house enjoying the lake view (we were lucky with some very calm days and some days with beautiful waves) but the house was also perfectly situated to get out and explore Door County. There were a few instances of handymen/gardeners dropping in that we didn't receive any warning about but it hardly disturbed us or our plans. We'd definitely go back again!
