Denna mysiga stuga ligger undangömt vid kanten av Moosehead Lake, bara några steg från vattnet. Titta på barnen och hundarna (för en liten nattlig avgift) spela på bakgården eller på bryggan när du njuter av en eftermiddagssymonad på däcken. Senare tittar solnedgången över sjön innan du bygger en eld i bakgårdens eldstaden eller i vardagsrummets eldstad.

Det är bara cirka 75 meter till din steniga strandsträcka - det är lite svårt att simma från stranden eftersom det har en naturlig stenig bank, men du kan hoppa av hamnen när du är redo för ett dopp. Du kanske inte vill lämna denna lakeside oas, men om du bestämmer dig för att gå in i staden, är Greenville mindre än tre miles nerför vägen. Du hittar alla viktiga saker, som mat och gas, samt några lokala restauranger.

Moosehead Lake stay

The location was very nice on the water. The views were gorgeous. The cabin is definitely “rustic”. The driveway was treacherous (guests should be notified that they would benefit from having a truck/SUV.

Amazing!

Amazing stay! Accommodations were above expectations! The views from every part of the cottage are top notch and anything you might need is there. While we try to stay at a different part of the lake every year, this would be in our list of a repeat stay.

Beautiful view and cove. Perfect for canoeing and kayaking. Very comfortable accommodations. Mostly private but still conveniently located to downtown Greenville.

Quiet and relaxing camp

The camp was very well stocked with all the essentials needed for 4 adults for 4 days. Plenty of paper towels, dish soap, bath towels and containers to put left overs in. The yard was quiet while sitting by the fire and watching the sunsets.

Amenities, including a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable living room space, were found as described. This cabin is located in a beautiful area with great sunset views. The short path to the water is only a slight slope and is easy to navigate.

Our stay

Had a great week of family time here- the one thing I wish had been clearer was the access into the water. Had our 18 month old granddaughter with us and it was not easy getting her in or out. Unless you are diving in at the end of the dock- it’s challenging for anyone older or kids.

Perfect Location

The location is absolutely beautiful!! The lake view is gorgeous!! One bedroom has a king bed, and a half bath. The other has a full bed. The loft with two twins is open with steep stairs to go up. It's a typical cabin home, where you can all be in your separate bedrooms and talk to each other without having to leave the room. There are several plug-ins for mouse control. We did hear what was likely a mouse chewing during our first night. Not totally unexpected for a cabin in the woods. If you're looking for lake access/view, in a convenient location to the center of town, this would be a great consideration.

Great Home/Great Location!

Very well-appointed home- had everything you need for a relaxing stay. Beautiful views from family room which was very comfortable. Beds and linens very nice. Great yard and dock too. Overall, a very relaxing and excellent getaway.

Family Vacation

We have taken a family vacation every summer for 19 years wanted to try Moosehead this year. We found the Cottage to be very clean, views were gorgeous. It was nice to be able to take the dogs. Waterfront not what I thought it would be. Though rocky I thought from pictures my big dog could get out. Very difficult for him, just my wrong interpretation of photos thinking it might be easier. My family did have a wonderful time at Moosehead Lake. I would recommend this cottage.

Peaceful cabin

I was very impressed how clean the cabin was.. We have a child who is blind, and the threshold's in some of the rooms could be a hazard to some with difficulty walking.. or possibly tripping. just something to keep in mind.. The views were gorgeous !

Perfect cottage with a spectacular view

Charming lakefront cottage on Moosehead Lake. The perfect mixture of rustic and modern. We saw many moose and a large bear only a few miles north near Lily Bay State Park.

Mainers on Vacation

We decided to stay closer to home for this first vacation post Covid. This was the perfect spot to ease ourselves back into normalcy. The home was super clean, had everything we needed, had WiFi (we have a teen so it matters 🙂). We rented kayaks down the street for the trip and did quite a bit of fishing right of the dock. Pro tip if you are from the city- make sure you have everything you want/need by 7pm. We tried to order a pizza in town at 730pm and they were closing up but that was fine- we stocked up at hannaford the day before. We did get that pizza the next day and it was great. We visited the B52 Memorial and the trek in there was well worth it. We had such an awesome time and would definitely rent this place again!

Great Lakeside Camp

The campwas well situated steps from Moosehead lake with a flat grassy area, very nice fire pit and large dock. The beds were all very comfortable, window treatments were new, fans in every room kept the place cool even in 90' heat. Every appliance and kitchen tool was available, even an electric griddle for pancakes ! The dock is deep enough for jumping off and the swimming was fantastic. While the neighbor to the right is fairly close, the camps share a different site line so it doesnt feel congested. To the left the camps are set up higher on the hill so the inlet is very private on that side. Greenville is a 7 minute drive and their 4th of July fireworks can be seen from the camp.

Lovely cottage. Lousy weather

We had a lovely stay at this cottage. If the weather had been better it would have been even better. Wind and rain! It is comfortable and well equipped for a lovely vacation. Having our dogs with us made it especially fun. Lovely view, great dock and yard!
