Beautiful condo, the bathroom between the two bedrooms had faucets very loose and the bathroom mats were extremely dirty.

Comfortable stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was as described. Twin bed mattresses have been improved. Agency was very responsive to our inquiries. Good location close to town and enjoyed nice sunsets from the town pier. Only suggestion is forMaster bath shower door to be secured at the bottom.

Fabulous condo

Great location to the village shopping, restaurants and the beach. The condo was everything that was in the listing. Clean, comfortable and the kitchen was completely stocked with small appliances and utensils. Would definitely rent this unit again.

Great spot for our trip!

This was a perfect spot for our end-of-summer vacation to St. Simon’s! The unit was perfect for our family to have separate space to relax and work space in the dining room when we weren’t touring around. The village and pier are a short walk, and East Beach is just a five minute drive. This unit’s kitchen was VERY well stocked (although it could have used a few more dishwasher pods and trash bags), which made it easy to prepare meals when we needed to. All in all, a great trip and a perfect home base!

Wonderful stay!

This condo was incredibly clean and organized. It was upgraded and very comfortable! The beds were comfortable. It was a quiet neighborhood. We had no issues while we were there. I can’t think of anything that was lacking for our family. We had everything we needed! We will certainly book here again!

Great place to relax

We stayed here with our teenagers for 2 nights after returning from our cruise. It was the perfect place to relax after our long week! The unit was very well stocked, super clean, and in a great location, we would definitely stay here again!

Great stay except.....

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall this is a great unit. Location is good. We enjoyed the updated decor and large comfortable sofa. However, the twin beds in the third bedroom are basically unsleepable. I saw this in the comments from the previous year, but thought it would have been resolved after all this time and enough feedback from reviewers. The twin beds are ultra hard, not exactly flat, and springs can be felt through them. We would not choose this unit again based on that.

Great stay!

We had a great stay here. The condo was clean and comfortable. The location was great and we loved the island. We loved Harbour Oaks and would definitely stay here again. It was convenient to take a golf cart to the beach and I walked my dog to the pier every morning for coffee and sunrise. The only slight cons were the carpets could use a shampooing and there were a lot of stairs (as disclosed in the listing). And the twin beds were uncomfortable, but none of this would give us a second’s pause from booking again. Thanks for a great end of summer beach week.

Nicely updated, super clean

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Reserved a 1st floor unit but when we arrived there was a major water leak & had to change units. Real Escapes agent was on top of it ASAP and got us moved immediately. She could not have been more helpful. Had to take this 2nd floor unit, but it was lovely. Very nicely updated kitchen and bathrooms. Could use more seating in the den area but we were able to move some chairs over. Kitchen was very well equipped. Bed in master was super comfortable so much so that we ordered one for our home. Harbour Oaks is walking distance from downtown and the pier area which is perfect to avoid the traffic. We will definitely rent this unit again. Three things to consider:1. There is no ice maker in the freezer and that would be a must in the summer monthts for sure.2. The twin beds in the back bedroom are woobley and squeaky. They need some tightening or brackets to tighten them up. We were afraid to sleep in them.3. The outside stairs to the unit are very slippery when wet. I would not recommend this unit if you have little ones or older folks.Again, kudos to the Real Escapes staff who took care of water leak issue so quickly, delivering the key to us right away. She could not have been any sweeter!!

Nice neighborhood

The condo was clean, with good amenities., and Tastefully decorated. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The only drawback was the twin beds, and they were horrible! I don’t mind a firm bed. However the mattresses felt like you were sleeping on plywood. On top of the discomfort, the foot boards squeaked loudly each time you moved. Needless to say, we did not get much sleep. My sister, and I actually slept on the couches in the living room the next night. The other family members said their beds were comfortable. So that’s a plus. This is really a nice place, and I would recommend this condo, but only if the twin beds/mattresses were changed.

Also didn't like the cable TV system. Kids liked the movies, but not too much we wanted to see. Some kitchen supplies a little light: dish clothes, dish soap, etc. Overall it was a wonderful place to stay.
