Wonderful house in an idyllic spot.
As mentioned by others who have stayed, the pictures don't do it justice. Superb house, gardens and pool, with a fantastic view across the valley, and the boule area was most welcome with many games played, late into the night.
The house is well equipped and Lionel was always responsive and helpful if there is any advice about the local area you need or if the is anything you need during your stay.
The bedrooms are lovely and the downstairs open plan setup is perfect - though the weather was so good that we only ate one meal at the table inside.
The air conditioning upstairs was very welcome and as long as you manage it properly, it's possible to keep the downstairs at a pleasant temperature.
The town is lovely and close to some wonderful towns and villages.
One thing to note (as mentioned by some other guests) is that there are some additional costs that we were unaware of because the UK website does not seem to show them properly (electricity was extra and meant we needed to get some additional cash), so I would suggest you confirm all costs early on.
Aside from this, I could not fault the house or Lionel's professionalism and hospitality. We had a wonderful time and would love to stay there again if the chance presents itself.
