Denna magnifika nyligen bekväma villa med en yta på + -300 m² är belägen i en unik, lugn miljö i en av de "vackraste byarna i Frankrike", precis intill 1100-talsslottet

Denna lilla medeltida by är byggd på en stenig klippning nära Sautadet vattenfall, en plats som nu klassificeras som ett naturområde. Dessa kalkstenar är fem miljoner år gamla. Ett slott och ett kapell dominerar hela. Rester av vallarna är fortfarande synliga. En smal medeltida bro, listad som ett historiskt monument, sträcker sig över Cèze med sina tolv bågar.

För att erbjuda dig all nödvändig komfort användes ädla material som torr Orgnac-sten, trä etc. under dess konstruktion 2014.
Det ligger på en tomt på 3000 m² och erbjuder dig en fristad för lugn och lycka.

Faktum är att ett vardagsrum på +100 kvadratmeter "öppet utrymme" helt öppet för poolen, terrassen och dalen vid vikfönstren kan du njuta av landskapets skönhet och en fantastisk utsikt över slottet, kyrkan, Charles Martel-bron och några steg från Sautadet-vattenfallen.
Allt i den vilda naturen av holm ekar.

För att njuta av lata stunder kommer infinitypoolen, petanque-fältet, terrasserna etc. att vara perfekta platser.
Varje rum har eget badrum med italiensk dusch. På begäran kan en barnsäng göras tillgänglig i den rymliga master suite på bottenvåningen med direkt tillgång till terrassen och utsikt över poolen.

Incroyable vue

Nous avons passé une semaine très privilégiée dans cette belle maison avec une vue incroyable. Le village est superbe, la maison magnifique. L’impression d’être seuls au monde en plein mois d’août! Elle est idéalement située pour découvrir la région sans faire trop de route. La piscine à débordement a fait notre bonheur l’après-midi. Lionel est un hôte charmant et hyper réactif.

Im Freundeskreis bereits zum zweiten Male eine wunderschöne Woche in einem traumhaften Haus verbracht. Super Ausstattung, bestens für Selbstversorger, Lionel als tollen Gastgeber und das märchenhafte Örtchen La-Roque-sur-Seze mit der Umgebung ist immer eine Reise wert. Nur zu empfehlen!

Urlaub im Paradies

Wir waren 3 Wochen in der traumhaften Villa in La Roque sur Ceze. Die Zeit ist wie im Fluge vergangen. Da es sehr heiß war, haben wir alle, aber vor allem die Kinder, viel Zeit in dem großen, tollen Pool verbracht. Der Außenbereich ist mit zahlreichen bezaubernden Ecken zum Sitzen, Essen und Relaxen ausgestattet. Auch die sehr großzügige Innenausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Es ist alles sehr geschmackvoll und mit Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Lionel war sehr hilfsbereit, unkompliziert und schnell vor Ort, wenn wir seine Unterstützung brauchten. Der Ort ist wirklich ganz bezaubernd. Die Cascaden sind auch ein echtes Highlight und unsere Kinder, 8-13 Jahre, sind von allen möglichen Felsen runtergesprungen und hatten einen Riesenspaß. Trotz Hitze waren wir auch in Nimes und Avignon. Auch sehr sehenswert. Der Weg zum Mittelmeer ist ziemlich lang. Waren wir auch. Würden wir vermutlich nächstes Mal weglassen. Wir konnten wunderbar in der La Ceze baden und sind natürlich auch ein paar Mal an der Ardeche gewesen. Wir waren mit einer anderen Familie im Haus. 4 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder. Jeder hatte durch die Zimmer mit jeweils eigener Dusche ausreichend Privatsphäre und konnte sich bei Bedarf zurückziehen. Insgesamt ein echter Traumurlaub.

Wonderful house in an idyllic spot.

As mentioned by others who have stayed, the pictures don't do it justice. Superb house, gardens and pool, with a fantastic view across the valley, and the boule area was most welcome with many games played, late into the night. The house is well equipped and Lionel was always responsive and helpful if there is any advice about the local area you need or if the is anything you need during your stay. The bedrooms are lovely and the downstairs open plan setup is perfect - though the weather was so good that we only ate one meal at the table inside. The air conditioning upstairs was very welcome and as long as you manage it properly, it's possible to keep the downstairs at a pleasant temperature. The town is lovely and close to some wonderful towns and villages. One thing to note (as mentioned by some other guests) is that there are some additional costs that we were unaware of because the UK website does not seem to show them properly (electricity was extra and meant we needed to get some additional cash), so I would suggest you confirm all costs early on. Aside from this, I could not fault the house or Lionel's professionalism and hospitality. We had a wonderful time and would love to stay there again if the chance presents itself.

Vacances de rêve

Une villa extraordinaire dans un petit village calme au charme fou. Cette villa ne comporte aucun point négatif!!! Il y’a tout comme à la maison! Stunning

This was one of the most beautiful properties I have ever stayed in. The interior decor was gorgeous. The kitchen more than fully stocked. The outside was magnificent. The village amazingly charming. I have stayed in plenty of places full of yard sale cast offs, so it was refreshing to stay somewhere beautifully designed, comfortable, and lovely. I few things to note. VRBO claims the pool is heated, but it is not. A small disappointment as we were traveling for November half-term and it was too chilly for the kids to swim. Also, Lionel speaks primarily French (This is noted in the VRBO listing, but I had missed that detail!) and we only speak English, so there was some confusion on our part about the security deposit, which he preferred in cash. We had not planned for that, but we were able to work out a bank transfer that took care of everything. We appreciated his flexibility. The area around the village is beautiful. I loved the single lane medieval bridge that we had to cross most days (with a handy traffic light to make sure no one got trapped by oncoming traffic!). We went to Nimes, Avignon, Pont du Gard, Pont d'Arc, and Grotte Chauvet 2 from our centrally located home base. If you are debating staying here, you will not be disappointed.

Perfect stay!

We had a wonderful stay in this house. The location of the house is really incomparable. Many villages in France claim to be the most beautiful, but La Roque sur Cece really deserves this award. And the house fits perfectly into this place. The pool, the amazing view, the really beautiful and modern rooms, everything fits together perfectly. Everything was very clean, well furnished and equipped. I have already booked many holiday homes, but this was the best so far. Lionel is a very sympathetic and nice host and we will certainly make use of his hospitality again. @ Lionel, the next time I will be there, we'll cycle up Mont Ventoux. I will also train a bit until then. Steffen

Vacances reposantes dans une villa magnifique!

Nous avons passé des vacances agréables dans cette villa offrant tout confort! Vue impressionante depuis la terrasse/piscine! Alentours très calmes qui font oublier le stress quotidien. Village pitoresque auquel se trouve un bistro avec terrasse sympathique. Un grand Merci au propriétaire Lionel pour son acceuil chaleureux et toutes les informations nécessaires. This villa is stunning!

The villa is absolutely beautiful, modern, spacious and in an incredible location. The communal spaces are huge, the whole place is really beautifully decorated and Lionel is a charming and helpful host. The area is gorgeous with plenty of places and things to do and visit. My only criticism is that the villa is advertised as air-conditioned throughout. Only the two upstairs bedrooms have air conditioning. The downstairs space is cool and doesn’t need it but the two downstairs bedrooms don’t have air-con (only fans) and were hot at night. There is also a large additional charge for bedding per person and a final clean (this came to over 200 euros for 4 adults and children). It would have been good to know this when booking and not on arrival at the villa!!! Other than that the villa is incredible, highly recommended and we’d love to return.

Magnifique villa avec superbe vue

Nous avons passé un 2ème séjour exceptionnel dans cette villa tout confort, très fonctionnelle et agencée avec beaucoup de gout, de plus la vue est magnifique et sans vis a vis. le village de La Roque Sur Cèze n'est pas très animé mais est vraiment très mignon.Villa idéale entre amis ou en famille et si vous cherchez la tranquillité au coeur de la nature c'est un plus non négligeable. Lionel le propriétaire est très charmant et je lui donne rdv l'année prochaine pour notre 3ème séjour.
