Our stay in La Tola

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment. The view was magnificent, Alberto and his family accommodating and attentive. It felt like staying with friends.

Great location next to Itchimbia Park and beautiful views of the city and mountains!

We loved this apartment! Check-in was easy and we were greeted with pastries and amazing city views!! Our kids really enjoyed walking to the Itchimbia Park playground everyday. The location was perfect for walking to the historic downtown. A quieter bus stop is nearby and a great bakery is right down the road! Kitchen was well stocked. Excellent stay!

A Great Base to Explore Quito

We had a very comfortable month exploring Quito from the apartment, all the while treating to a spectacular view of the city, epic landscape, and evolving weather patterns. Alberto was wonderful to deal with from afar and, onsite, his parents were equally warm and welcoming. The apartment looks down on Quito Antiquo, the old city, which lent itself to our daily wandering about. When groceries or laziness were in the mix, a 25 cent local bus ride would deliver us just about back to our door. We had a great month, we'd return in an instant, and highly recommend Alberto and this apartment.

Super clean and has everything you would want in a self- contained unit!

Maria and Luis were there to meet us. Despite the language barrier they made us feel at home and VERY welcomed. Great stay in Quito!

Perfect apartment

We loved our stay in Quito in this apartment! In fact we are still here and stayed two days more. The shower was warm and the beds were comfortable. The view is spectacular and the location is very good to walk to the old town. We are going to see the park behind the house today – it looks lovely. The only drawback for anyone to this place would be that it's a walk up of 4 flights.

Best view of town

If you like to stay a few days in Quito this apartment is a really good choice. The view over town is awesome / at day and at night. It's also just next to Parque Ichimbia which is great to take long walks and if you want to make sports or to go to one of the several playgrounds they have for kids (like we did and the kids were so happy). We really enjoyed it not to be in the crowded center but on the top hill! And to go to downtown the owners organize a taxi which also brings you to all the touristic spots you are interested like Mitad del Mundo, the Teleferico etc. for example. Otherwise just grab a taxi right at the Parc... In front of the house, just in the same streets you have a nice choice of restaurants where they offer good international or national food. They make their publicity with the great view... So imagine that you will live there! So we highly recommend it.

This has it all

We rented this place for a five or six day stay in Quito and were very happy with it. The views of the city are excellent and the apt had everything you would need. The owners were very helpful although my lack of Spanish held us back a bit on communicating. There are a couple of great restaurants directly across the street we frequented and a set of stairs leading down to the old town almost directly across the street. (Remember what goes down must come up! The stairs back up to out street will give you your daily exercise!) if we were shopping or carrying a lot we used the taxis which are a dime a dozen for less than two dollars. Don't miss the huge park directly behind the house. It is magnificent!

Wonderful home to stay in Quito

It was a real pleasure to stay at this wonderful flat. We felt like at home. Señora Maria and her husband are very warm and attentive and just fantastic people. The flat is great, it has everything you may need, very clean and cozy. The view is the best in Quito. Absolutely recommended!

Exelente la estadía

me pareció muy cómodo el apartamento, el transporte es muy bueno en la zona, la gente muy buena, la Señora Maria es demasiado atenta estuvo muy pendiente todo el tiempo. El apartamento tiene una vista privilegiada donde se puede ver toda la parte colonial y se goza de un atardecer hermoso, es 100% recomendado para todo el mundo, muchas gracias por todo. saludos desde Venezuela

Most beautiful view in Quito!

W spent three nights in this apartment. The view alone was worth the nightly price. There are a couple of delightful restaurants across the street with delicious food and nightly atmosphere. The managers of the property we attentive and available. We did have limited wifi due to the number of apartments sharing the router, but they accommodated my essential needs. The neighborhood is relatively peaceful and certainly safe.

Excelente Estancia

El apartamento es altamente confortable, tiene una vista hermosa al Centro Colonial y a Panecillo, es cálido y cuenta con todos los Servicios, agua caliente, muy limpio y sobre todo el sitio es muy tranquilo, el parque Itchimbia que esta en la parte trasera es muy hermoso para salir a caminar, hay varios restaurant cerca de la entrada de la casa, particularmente me gusto El Café Mosaico al principio utilizábamos taxi pero después tomábamos el autobús en la entrada del parque mencionado anteriormente y vienen rápido a la parada nos deja en la avenida Patria parque El Ejido y de ahí a donde se quiera ir, las personas de la casa Señora María y Señor Luis de excelente calidad humana, muy atentos a cualquier solicitud, lo estoy recomendando ya a mi familia y amigos para cuando viajen a esa hermosa ciudad y lo recomiendo cien por ciento a otros viajeros.

Mejor Imposible!

Hospedarnos en su propiedad fue la mejor elección, super cerca del casco histórico, una vista hermosa desde el departamento, nos trataron excelente y tuvimos el acceso a todos los servicios ofrecidos y por muy buen precio. Recomiendo este lugar, a toda persona que desee visitar a la tan hermosa ciudad de Quito.
