En del av den vackra Seaward-fastigheten, Rose Cottage (tidigare stugan vid Seaward) Àr en av de tvÄ semesterstugorna pÄ nÀstan 6 tunnland vilda vÀstkusten vid Otter Point. Stugan erbjuder ett antal imponerande extra: golv till tak fönster pÄ södra vÀggen med utsikt över Juan de Fuca och olympiska bergen, ett unikt trÀtak med Sitka gran frÄn fastigheten, golvvÀrme under skifferplattor, en extra -Stort loft sovrum med en king size-sÀng och ett andra sovrum med separat ingÄng. Slutligen tjÀnar sju massiva cedertrÀar som pelare och knyter stugdesignen tillsammans med arkitektoniskt intresse.
Utanför stugan trÀdgÄrdar, skog spÄr genom salalen till dramatiska utkik, stranden huset och, naturligtvis, strÀnderna.
Det finns ett komplett badrum pÄ bottenvÄningen, och det finns ett pulver rum i loftet sovrummet.

Grounds and location are wonderful; although spartan facility, it was comfortable and help was always available. Good for those who like remote locations and access to ocean. The town of Sooke could use better food markets and restaurants.

Fantastic property!!

This is our third time staying here and we absolutely love it! It's so relaxing and laid back. Our favorite is the rose cottage as its more private and offers a huge backyard for us so play badminton and for our dog to stretch her legs. We look forward to each stay at Seaward and we can't wait to book again soon.

Lovely place

we stayed at the Rose cabin for four nights. The setting is impeccable ocean views abound along with lovely, landscaped gardens and tall trees. The cabin is well equipped and has beautiful, cedar posts supporting the roof, which add character - would highly recommend, our dealings with the owners and staff were excellent.

Perfect getaway

We stayed for 3 nights in January for our anniversary. The place was clean and bright with beautiful views of the ocean. The manager was very responsive to a few minor questions we had and there was even a fire already laid in the wood-burning stove, ready to go. It was a wonderful, relaxing time. Our dogs loved the yard and trails as well!

Getaway over extended weekend

Had a fabulous time. The property is a gem as are each of the cottages. Great property with beaches to explore steps away and endless views to take in. Morning excursions to the parks and attractions in the area and afternoon downtime on the properties beaches, the beachfront art cabin, and covered patio. Thanks for another great time for our family to unwind.

Magical stay in Sooke

Our stay at the Rose Cottage was a trip we will remember forever. Our 5 month old daughter, grandma, grandpa and our two dogs had a marvellous time! The cottage is so cute, cozy and has everything you need. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, sitting in the lawn for sunset and watching the bunnies silflay. The property manager was so sweet and checked in on us to see if we needed anything. The beds were very comfortable. I highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to explore Sooke.

Such a beautiful place. We are looking for some place that is away from city and people for a very relax and romantic vacation and this place is a 10/10. Clean and comfy, good communication with property manager. Nice view of ocean from every window. Short (50 meter) trail to private beach. Magnificent Pacific Ocean stunning in front of the small deck built above the beach. Rememberable home away from home experience.

Lovely, private beachfront cottage

Rose Cottage is a lovely, contemporary cottage set apart and screened from 2 other similar cottages by lovely, well cared for gardens. Well-marked paths lead to nearby beaches. Everything we needed (and then some) was provided, including a gas barbecue and wood burning stove. The beds are very comfortable, kitchen well stocked. The only downside is the cottage is located very near the road so there is a little road noise. But it’s not a very busy road so that wasn’t a problem. If we stay here again, we’ll rent the Rowan Cottage which is the one farthest from the road.

Totally relaxing!

We stayed in Rose cottage for 8 days and were not ready to leave. Wally, Ray and Christie were exceptionally great to deal with. Loved talking to Ray about the properties’ history and happenings in the local area. He’s definitely a treasure. Loved everything about Rose cottage except one shrub that blocks a million dollar view. It’s getting yellow so hopefully Mother Nature takes care of it 😆. We will definitely be back!

A special place

As a family of four with two older teenagers, we thoroughly enjoyed this property. The check in was seamless. The location was incredible, our own private beach with amazing sunsets, a private garden with loungers and wildlife. Bald eagles, hummingbirds, deer, seals and whales. All viewed from the garden. The accommodation was immaculate, it catered for everyone and everything. We used the pull out sofa which helped. All in all, it was fantastic, we didn’t want to leave. Thanks!

Idyllic

Stunning property, great location, pet friendly for my 80 lbs dog who absolutely loved frolicking at the beach. There was attention to detail (I was provided with dog towels, extra fans in case it gets hot and fully stocked kitchen with cutlery and appliances) and very well decorated and furnished cabin. The beach is a short walking distance away with proper marking and great viewing points. Its secluded and private but at the same time accessible with Sooke downtown being 10 mins away.

Beautiful location & well equipped house

We had a wonderful and comfortable stay at the rose cottage. The views are amazing and the access to private beaches makes for easy entertainment for kids and dogs! The bed was extremely comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. It has absolutely everything a family would need. We’ll be back!
