Vad finns i närheten:
Tillträde till stranden vid den lugna södra bryggan ligger en kort promenad från detta hus, och bekvämligheter i staden är bara en kort bilresa eller lugnt promenad uppför vägen. Den världsberömda golfen på Bandon Dunes är en snabb körning upp mot motorvägen 101, och det finns gott om vandring och natursköna områden inom bekvämt köravstånd.

Charming home in great location next to the most beautiful coastline in the world

The Mermaid house feels very warm and welcoming, decorated with original art, and with all the needed amenities. We were able to walk to the incredible beach in 2 minutes, and the downtown in about 10. I loved the huge dinner table, which is great for a large dinner party, or for puzzles, games, spilling out agates found on the beach. We would definitely stay again!

Location was fantastic! Beautiful walk to the beach. Lots of dinning area, easy to enter home ramp in the back made it convenient for my elderly mother. Nice walk in shower also helpful for mom. We really enjoyed our stay

Bandon trip

The Mermaid Beach House is a nice vacation spot while visiting Bandon. Just a few blocks from a great beach and walking distance to old town. We would definitely stay here again.

A Wonderful Week

We had a really good time. The location - just a few blocks from the beach was great. The kitchen was well stocked and there was so much room in the kitchen and dining area. The beds were comfortable. There was a need for kindling to make the wood stove easier to start.

Loved aur stay at the Mermaid Beach House

We really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was fully stocked and the queen bedroom upstairs has a great view of the ocean. Short walk to the beach was great! The place was clean and cozy other than wet wood so we couldn't start a fire in the fireplace. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice beach getaway

Property was short walk to the beach. Kitchen has most everything you need. Short drive to Old Bandon. Tourist stores, sea food.

Great location, lots of space

Great location close to beach and downtown. Tons of space. Amenities are dated as others mentioned but was totally fine for our stay. Vacasa was great checkin process etc.

Mermaid House

The location was wonderful and the house is well set up to host lively groups. Unfortunately, the games and puzzles were missing pieces, and one of our guests was ravaged by fleas from the upstairs bed.

Beach house

All in all a great place to stay. Close to the beach and old town. Large great room that would be wonderful for a crowd. The place just felt a little shabby with old slip covers and worn soft coffee table. We couldn’t get the TV to work but we were able to use an old VCR Lots of old movies were available. Kind of fun.

Wasted my vacation

Over all the house was okay, definitely could tell it was old and been used as a rental years. Futon/couches were either too stiff or springy for couches but worked as beds. The only view of the ocean is upstairs and we had to climb on the roof to clean them to see anything. Upstairs windows were missing screens (except the bathroom) and one window wouldnt stay open and wasnt useable. We didnt use the fireplace and 2 out of 3 heater vents worked in the living room.Tons of stickers up front and caught in our dog paw, back door doesnt stay unlocked. Pre made alot of our food so we didnt utilize alot of the kitchen. I did try to make cinnamon rolls one morning but the lower oven didnt really work. I gave up and cooked them in the upper, it did burn a little but we enjoyed them. The deck in the front felt very wobbly and boards were visibly bowing in-between the weak moving joist. The ramp in the back gave alot and made aweful sounds when walking on it. I kept being told someone would come look but no timeframe could be given so we didnt go down to beach as much as we wanted in case they were coming as I didn't have service on the beach. Very disappointed i wasted so much of my vacation on these issues. Will not get again!

Madison Street stay

Nice and clean and good location. Advertised as three beds there was only two bedrooms. There was a third bed but it was not sleepable. Very poor living room furniture very uncomfortable. No firewood was available as advertised. A $300 rebate would be appropriate.

Location good, communication can be better

The property grew on us as the weekend went along. Beware however, the mermaid owners/managers are building a house next door. We had workers arrive at 6:25 on a Saturday morning to install garage doors waking us all up way too early on our vacation. The windows were also all dirty so you can’t see much and the heating/cooling system didn’t work, only a handful of windows has screens to allow us to let the air in (and ensure no bugs). The house overall has good space and is a short walk to the amazing beach and “stacks” as well as a short walk to the town center.

This is a lovely house. Very well stocked with anything you may need. Close to the beach and downtown Bandon. We would definitely stay here again.
