Excellent Condo Port A

Nice condo. Great proximity to the beach and great location in town. Nicely furnished, clean and comfortable. Nice pool and clubhouse. Great for families.

Relaxing trip

We had a nice stay. Directions for tv and lack of cable was an inconvenience. Needed beach access code for the gate to enter and was not posted. Beds were comfortable but the rest of the place would benefit from a little freshening up.

I have stayed two blocks from here, for half the price. The unit we stayed in was only 1 of 4 properties we could chose from during our vacation window. When we arrived, it was “okay”. The master bedroom had a very hard and uncomfortable bed, the bedding was ancient. The air vent had been spray painted to conceal the mold stains in BOTH rooms. The bathrooms were extremely small, and the toilet ran through the night. Our family flipped flopped from bedroom to couch just to get some much needed rest. The last night we staying the water was shut off when we got back from our day at the beach. We went to dinner without showers. We received a call about the outage and told we’re at the mercy of the city. It was out for several hours, and we made the best out of it. I would never have expected this place to be recommended by VRBO. We would have had a better experience ANY where else. I would hope that somebody else would’ve shed the light on this unit before us…we won’t be back.

Loved it!!!

Perfect location, direct private access to beach, great views, the house was just what we needed for our family trip. The only issue we had was that our electronic door lock started acting up the last 2 days, but management came and brought us a key so all was well!! A simple house, but just what we needed. Definitely will stay again!!

Perfect Location

The location is perfect to golf cart everywhere you need to go. You can see and hear the ocean from your balcony and relax. Plenty of space for our party of 5. We would definitely stay again. The kids enjoyed the pool and game room. The space is a little outdated but had everything you need.

Port Aransas Beach Therapy

Condo is 130' from the beach with nice ocean views. Private boardwalk takes visitor over tidal/coastal gorse. Convenient to Port Aransas and surrounding locales. Interior a little dated, and instructions about use were contradictory and confusing. Amazing seafood at fun restaurants. No supply chain issues with some of the best service that I have had since before the pandemic. Family and I would like to do it again.

Fairly close to beach. View of beach blocked more than expected.

Furniture and accommodations need updating and repair. Contract offered no ability to question amount of charges owner might inflict for damage. Fortunately, we did not cause any damage to property. It felt unfriendly and less than inviting.

Not Awful, but Not Good

I do want to mention that the management was very easy to work with when we needed to change our reservation due to our grand baby not arriving on time. They allowed us to reschedule our trip without any additional costs. Also, the kitchen and bathrooms have been remodeled and are in excellent condition. Here are some of the reasons we won't return to Beach Therapy: living room furniture extremely worn and faded, windows were so dirty we couldn't see through them, incorrect wifi password info in the book, we couldn't figure out how to turn on the tv and didn't want to bother with calling just for that (written directions in the book would have been helpful), the kitchen was only stocked with 1 dish rag/towel and no pot holders, no decent knives or cutting board, and the twin beds were pretty uncomfortable. Just want to say again how easy the management was to work with on rescheduling out stay. We very much appreciated that!

Don’t be fooled by the pictures you see!!!!

It started when we requested early check in and they wanted to charge a fee. We found out later they also charge a fee for late check out as well. Upon arrival we discovered that the parking area wasn’t paved and it had been raining so pretty much all the parking areas were muddy. We were told we would have a storage area that we could keep our fishing gear in downstairs but there wasn’t a key or instructions so I had to call. The management at Port A Beach House Rental gave me the code for a different unit so I could use that one. Nice of them but still a pain. We only had 2 wash cloths for 3 adults and 2 toddlers. The Direct TV didn’t work very well while we were there and only had local channels so if you have kids that watches cartoons you need to bring DVDs, so glad that worked and that we had them with us. Bedtime and we go to pull out the couch and find beer tabs, dust and dirt all over the mattress and under the couch. Which has not been cleaned nor under the beds where my 3 yr old found hair balls and an old candy wrapper. The beds were uncomfortable and the comforters and sheets are very well used and like sandpaper. Not much water pressure and the water had a brown tint when we tried to run a bath. The whole complex had standing water, boardwalks broken, the playground had a broken rusty chain and was unsafe. This whole experience was not good. Be aware of extra fees from the property management company. Will def not be returning especially with my children.

Nice condo.

Very clean inside. Looks to be newly remodeled. We enjoyed daily walks down to the sand and spending our time on the beachfront. It was so close we didn't have to drive. We walked. We loved sipping coffee from our condo and sitting on the balcony visiting and listening to the ocean breeze and sound. Very relaxing. Rental company was very friendly and helped us to plan the perfect getaway.

Beautiful views from the living room!

This condo was well-stocked with everything that we needed. The kitchen and bathrooms were new. The condo was very clean and located in town and we walked to the beach every day and loved the nice pool as well. We will plan to return again as soon as we can.

Ocean Views were beautiful!

Our family loved the quick beach access. This condo was was very clean. The rental management company answered all of our questions. They were friendly and helpful. We loved how close this condo was to all of the restaurants and action, yet secluded enough to truly relax to the sounds of the ocean from our balcony. We plan to return in the future.
