Privat strand har bra simning för små barn, fiske, en rullande brygga och stor flytande flottflotta, stranden Bon Fire Pit och picknickbord, hängmatta, 2 kanoter, kajak och en roddbåt. Massor av strandleksaker och flytvästar finns i båthuset.

Inbäddat bland ek och bokträd, det här 4 sovrummet, 3 badrum sover 12 (plus några skummadrasser för extra golv som sover). Ljus öppen planlösning och stort vardagsrum med vedeldade spisar rymmer bekvämt stora grupper. Av vardagsrummet är ett mysigt biblioteksområde som möjliggör en intim konversation.

Great weekend family retreat

Great place to get together with a large group. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay for the weekend. Lots of activities to do including games, bonfires, kayaking, etc. Beautiful view of the lake. Peaceful and serene. Property owners were excellent and a dream to deal with.

Lovely, peaceful retreat!

It is as lovely as it looks in the pictures--spacious and in excellent condition. The lake is beautiful, swimmable even for little kids, and it's an easy drive to Lake Michigan for a daytrip too.

Serenity and seclusion

Beautiful home and lakefront site. Nature and comfort for relaxation, fun, and appreciation for all of God's creation. My family enjoyed the lake, boats, fishing, hiking, bike trails and each other's company.

Excellent getaway for large family

It was wonderful to be in a quiet place away from town, yet close enough to visit nearby towns for shopping and the beach. Loved that there was so much to do inside the home with games and toys for children, as well as fire pit and water activities. Nobody was bored for one second! Incredibly relaxing, very kind neighbors.

Great place

The house is very nice and big! The beach area was great for the kids to swim and play in the sand. Enjoyed the activities in the garage as well. No problems whatsoever, didnt need to contact the host once. Really enjoyed our stay!

Perfect family get away

It was another absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful home. Plenty of space for 10 adults and 3 small kids. the property is absolutely beautiful and big enough for all of us to have room and enjoy fishing and hanging out down by the lake. Bonfires at night with lots of smores and wonderful family stories. Communication with Martha and Gaius was timely and very thorough. if you are looking for a perfect family get away this is the place to book.

Relaxing

The house is perfect for a large family, everything you could need was available. The property is nice, the beach could use more sand and cleaned up as far as the landscaping goes, but overall we enjoyed our stay! Our children fished and played in the water all day everyday and had a great time! Will definitely recommend for large groups!

Quiet place on the lake

The property was very clean and the views were gorgeous. Kitchen was stocked well and there was plenty of space to eat. Very quiet area which was nice. There were kayaks and canoes, etc to use which was a fun bonus, although we didn’t end up having time to utilize them. Lots of beds available, which was also nice. Overall a nice, quiet, clean place to stay. Owners were responsive to questions and had things labeled very nicely.

Family Reunion

Great family vacation!

This lake house is great! It's very kids-friendly! They had toys (both indoor and outdoor), high chair, pack n play and even bathtub toys! Lots of space! The only thing that could be improved is WiFi.

Another amazing trip!

Perfect Lake Weekend

We had a great weekend and enjoyed the lake and everything the house had to offer. The house had everything we needed and our kids enjoyed the toy trunk and all the books! Beautiful Home & View

Great rental for larger group. Rental details were absolutely accurate. Pictures didn't do it justice, the view was amazing. All of the cabins were labelled which was incredibly helpful. The owners were very helpful and communicative.

Kick back and relax

Beechtree house was exactly what my family was looking for. We had kids ages 1.5-17, and plenty of space for all to hang out, eat, and sleep. The best part was the lake access with all the supplies to have a good time (canoe, kayak, life jackets, fishing poles) plus a fire pit and chairs. The house feels loved and loved in in the best way possible, with games, books, puzzles galore. We were close enough to Lake Michigan but felt like we had our own private slice of paradise. We highly recommend!

Perfect family getaway

The property was excellent: comfortable with all of the amenities we needed. We were 3 adults, one teenager, and two children, and we had excess space. The property is gorgeous, much of the back yard well-shaded even midday. The fishing on the lake was fantastic, and the foosball and ping pong table kept us occupied when we weren't at the lake. It's about 20 minutes to South Haven, which is just close/far enough. The neighbors are very friendly and kind. We didn't lack for anything. Hosts were responsive and helpful. Will definitely consider staying here again when we are back in the area.

Exceeded all expectations

We loved our stay over the long holiday weekend. The listing description doesn't even fully express the thoughtfulness the owners put into this property. They have literally thought of everything! Plenty of room for everyone (we had 7 adults) Loved the kayaks and enjoyed the breeze off the lake while lounging in the (3) hammocks. Location is perfect. Close to Saugatuck, South Haven, Van Buren Rec Area, horseback riding and so much more. If you get a chance try Frida's Cantina on 43 - delicious food and spirits. Can't wait to stay again in the future!

Beautiful, quiet and peacefull

When you walk in the front door you are greeted with a stunning view of the lake, as the entire back of the house is windows. The kitchen is open and the adjacent sun room great for putting the kids to eat dinner and being able to see and hear them. Great property and layout, Hosts put a lot of thought into the amenities. The only disappointment was the fishing , the lake needs to be dredged , no one caught any fish, even going all over the lake in the boat.

Perfect Family Getaway

We had an amazing family vacation this past July. everything was first class from the initial questions we had previous to booking and continued through the time we returned back home. very clean and it fit the needs of our family perfectly. My wife and I and our four adult children their spouses and grandkids had lots of room to sleep play and relax. With 5 couples needing their privacy at times the rooms were set up perfectly and had plenty of room for some blow up beds and a crib for the three grandkids. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need The view was beautiful from the living room down to the Lake and the beach and dock was perfect for all of us to be out there enjoying the kayaks, canoe, boat and the fishing which was terrific as we never went a day without catching multiple fish. The neighbors are very friendly and were a pleasure to talk with also. five stars and we hope to go back and make more family memories every year.

We have used our home as a retreat place for many of our friends for over 20 years so it is well equipped to handle large groups. We live in Chicago, but our good friend, the contractor who built the house, lives nearby and is available to handle any emergencies.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Turning into the driveway on our first visit to the property in 1979, a sense of peace settled on us as we drove through the long row of trees. By the time we reached the house and saw the peaceful lake, we knew this was the "retreat house" we had dreamed of for ourselves and our friends from our church. We remodeled the house in 1996, adding the "great room" so the house could accommodate large groups. Over the decades, numerous families have used this for family reunions, and there are countless children who consider this their home away from home.
